I have been going to this restaurant for 12 years straight, just the pandemic stopped me. I always choose something with aubergine as it is my favourite veggie, but everything is so well done. The stuffed peppers are amazing as well, and if you go for the set meal for 2 prepare to unbutton your jeans as a lot of plates are coming! No fancy trills just very good food. The price is reasonable and the staff always smiling and helpful. Top it with fabulous Turkish delight at the end, all absolutely tasty!

Lovely restaurant and really friendly staff. On the way in a lady said (smiling) that she just had an amazing meal. Can also confirm this was the case. Nice atmosphere and decent drinks menu. Recommend for vegetarians as the meze options were so good.

Loved our takeaway, set menu for 2 had a great selection and everything was delicious. I'm not a big fan of aubergine but their stuffed aubergine was amazing! Having baklava and Turkish delight was a lovely touch. We'll definitely be back!

Very good food. The started selection for two persons is recommended as you get a big selection. The quality and quantity of the starters and main dishes are good so no complain there. I do however give it 4 out of 5 points since the restaurant is pretty expensive. Not terribly so but still paid 31 pound alone

We came using a groupon voucher to try this place as we had never been before. The tapas style dishes received were excellent, service was great and it was a nice cosy atmosphere. We have not had the chance to come back yet, but we certainly will.

It's a fantastic restaurant, wonderful food and great staff. It is one of those family owned and run places, completely independently. Great choice of vegetarian dishes which is rare, open kitchen if you want to see chef working. We went twice as good was so good. The only thing I can point out, please play some authentic Turkish music instead of cheap pop.

Our second visit to Nargile with family and student and it was delightful again... lovely relaxing atmosphere and the food is fantastic. Only mild moan is the toilets, best to go with a hot water bottle or winter clothing as they are so cold you might never emerge.

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday, place was reasonably busy. Missus had chicken wing starter and chickpea main, I ordered hummus starter and aubergine and mince main, I asked for gluten free. Service was prompt, food was very good and portion sizes were large. Excellent experience, would revisit. Missus said the toilets were clean but in need of maintenance.

Simply one of the best restaurants in Aberdeen. Fantastic quality of food, value and atmosphere. The waiting staff are always willing to help or recommend a dish. Being able to see into the kitchen is wonderful, you get to see the chefs at work. I would recommend booking a table for large groups, it's popular and busy to boot.

Really great Turkish restaurant. We ordered the Mezes for two. Lots of delicious food (10 different dishes) for a very reasonable price. Seems to be very popular. We were there on a Friday just after they opened at 17:00 and the restaurant was almost completely full, so book ahead.

Had a delious meal here last week. Food was lovely & plentiful. Good atmosphere & staff very pleasant. However was placed @ a table @ the back which was very uncomfortable 3 seats up against the wall with very little space to manuover & had to scramble to get out. Two of us had to sit with table legs between our legs. Very cramped & would of complained but did not want to embarrass our other 2 companions who sat comfortably opposite us. Would definitely go back for the food but would insist on better seating.

Delicious food, friendly and efficient service. The portions are large so make sure you're hungry! I'd strongly recommend the mezze, lots of small dishes, a bit like tapas. All the dishes were good, though the hummus was a little too salty. For mains, my chicken dish was good but wish I'd gone for what my wife ordered - shish kofte, delicious minced lamb on skewers with rice, salad and a lovely tomato based sauce. Overall I'd recommend Nargile.

A visit to this restaurant is a must. At least once. The food was amazing and the starters appeared at the table within 10 minutes of me ordering. The main arrived within a further 10 minute of the starter and was piping hot as you would expect. The young lady that served us was extremely helpful and professional in every way. I love this place! This is THE restaurant to go to in Aberdeen. Very authentic Turkish cuisine, Would highly recommend the meze's for starter, great selection, especially the sucuk and filo pastries. For main the kebabs of marinated mixed meats of lamb, chicken and steak is a must. Great service. Has always been my go to restaurant. Please bring back the lunch menu!

Portions weren't particularly generous and the food is very overpriced for what it is. This is a common trait among restaurants in Aberdeen, though more reasonable venues can be found if you know where to look. We had wings and humus to start and skewered kebabs with cous cous for our mains. The wings were tiny but good, the humus tasted a bit strange and our mains were okay. Service was fine when we visited - friendly and quick.

Just had an amazing meal at Nargiles. They've really worked on the social distancing and hygiene so feels safe. Choice of food dor meat eaters and vegetarians is good, would particularly recommend the mixed kebab, and the beetroot with dill was the best I have ever tasted! An open kitchen means you can see the care and attention they put into the food. Would highly recommend a visit to Nargile.

Over the past 6 weeks I've frequented this delightful little establishment more times than I remember. There's a common theme of creamed aubergines with a few of the dishes, but don't hesitate to try, their all delicious. If you are working in the petroleum industry and need great food, quick service, and at a reasonable price, Nargile will not fail to please you time and time again. I would strongly recommend this to the engineers occupying staff houses across Aberdeen.

Loved the ambience, felt welcomed with children. However, the food was just okay. I wish the couscous was made fresh, felt like eating steamed Costco couscous with dried vegetables. The swordfish was a bit smelly.

Probably the 4th or 5th time having dinner in this location. The food is incredibly tasty and the manner that you dine is authentically Middle eastern. If you are not sure what to try then opt for one of the set menus if there are 2 of you. That way you will have a taste of just about everything, capped with a Turkish coffee and traditional sweets at the end. Or if that is too daunting then the waiting staff are more than happy to guide you. I would advise not to fill yourself up on Pita bread during all the starters however. Don't expect to walk in on a Friday or Saturday night without booking first, phone ahead because they get very busy! This was the first time eating out on a Monday evening, we started at 17:30 and had the place to ourselves until about 19:15 when more customers started to arrive.

Typical fantastic turkish food but unfortunately extremely pricey...you pay almost 16£ (7,95£ per person) for 6 tiny dishes ("meze variety for 2 persons") of humus, beetroot, tuna, etc as a starter... But it is a fine option for oriental food in this city.

Usually no reservations are needed, the selection of vegetarian food is great, the hummus is to die for and the staff is always very nice. The atmosphere in Nargile is friendly and accepting, I have had a good time in here for a formal celebration but also after getting caught up in the rain hungry.

Booked for a pre theatre meal for two at 6.15...needed to be out by just after 7. Told there would be no problem. Arrived to an almost empty restaurant and shown to a non descript table in the centre. Asked if we could have one of two tables set for 4 in the window. These were reserved we were told. So offered one of three tables for two - by the kitchen door, by the serving counter or bang slap in the middle in the serving line. Food good although a little pricy for what we ordered; and service quick. Neither of the 2 tables in the window had been occupied when we left. Commented that it was a shame that we could not have had one of them. Told they were booked for 7.30 and 8. We left as planned with the staff at 7 for the theatre. Won't be going again, and won't recommend to friends.
