It is remarkable to find an establishment, in which everyone who works there, is a lovely human being. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan options on offer and would highly recommend this place to everyone. The fact that they're dog friendly is also a huge bonus, if you, like us, like to take your four legged friends on holiday with you!

If you are looking for beautiful food and beautiful people, this is the spot. Lovely selection of food. Warm and friendly. Genuine vegan food, as if they don’t just take things away to make it vegan. They have plant-based alternatives, and they are good.

Absolutely incredible food. On our hols we had Buddha bowl, Sunday roast and finished the week with an afternoon tea. All vegan (with veggie options), homemade ice cream, crumble - just so spoilt for choice. Even perfect if you fancy a cuppa and cake

One-of-a-kind place offering tasty vegan/vegetarian menu and broad selection of vegan cakes. Great coffee too. On Sundays they do 3 varieties of Sunday roast (Seitan Roast, Nut Roast and Meatless Loaf), all of which are amazing. Booking recommended, particularly at weekends.

What a fabulous place! We had a very tasty Sunday lunch, meatless loaf with a big variety of vegetables and delicious gravy, followed by a fruit crumble and home made ice cream. Chef and front of house lady were both delightful and SO helpful with food allergies. It's definitely a place I'd visit again. As a vegetarian it's a real bonus to be able to choose from an extensive, home-cooked-from-scratch menu.

The Sunday Roast was absolutely delicious. Full of flavour and so fresh. The staff are really welcoming and friendly and clearly care a great deal about the quality of the vegan food they prepare and serve. Well worth a visit!

The cakes are phenomenal, tried the mocha and chocolate cake (buttercream frosting was the best I've ever had on any cake), daily soup and bread, pasta bowl. So many vegan options. Visited yesterday. Very impressed. A wide selection of wholesome food and drinks to suit all weathers eg healthy smoothies and homemade ice cream as it was a hot day! A very warm welcome from owner and staff. Clean and affordable. Definitely worth visiting.

I visited the dragonfly today for lunch, two of us were vegetarian and other two meat eaters, and everyone was really happy with the food, no-one complained there was no meat at all. The decor was bright and inviting, abit like a nice family country kitchen, the staff were attentive (but not intrusive) and friendly, extremely helpful and polite. Now the food.... Okay so the chips are perfection! Crispy on the outside, nice hand-cut steak chips, fluffy on the inside, crispy and dry and just heavenly. Food was well prepared, presented and tasted excellent. Special nod to the chickpea wrap and the Buddha bowl. Plenty of gluten free and vegan options as well. Puddings are a selection of homemade cakes and flapjack bars, with either vegan or dairy ice cream. I strongly recommend the chocolate, it's delicious. It's a great little place to eat in Aberystwyth, worth a visit. But I recommend to book if it's a busy weekend or lunchtime to avoid disappointment. Although they do have takeaway options also. Well done dragonfly, we'll see you again soon.

This place is a little gem and you might easily miss it as its tucked away behind the market. Its a great find for people who enjoy plant based foods. Tom, the young guy who served us, was a great host: informed, warm and always attentive. The coffee was good, the cakes gorgeous and the portions were very generous. They also do take outs. I good this place continues to thrive- good for Aberystwyth, good for you and good for the planet.

Myself and my partner visited Borth, we travelled to Aberystwyth for the day one of our reasons being we wanted to visit Dragonfly Bistro which we are so glad we did! We were welcomed by a polite and friendly lady and man behind the counter, even though we arrived before our reservation they were more than happy to seat us! We ordered the vegan bistro burger with their homemade coleslaw which was absolutely delicious! It was a generous portion size with fresh salad and chips alongside the homemade coleslaw was definitely a friend to the tastebuds😋 The food was fresh, hot and made fairly quickly. Even the chef came out and had a little chat with us which was lovely, overall the visit was beyond expectations. Lovely and genuine staff who really care about what they do. I would 100% recommend visiting😊

We had a beautiful vegan Sunday lunch at the Dragonfly Bistro. I had a nut roast which was homemade and absolutely stunning. The service was friendly, fast and the price was good too. The menu is extensive with lots of vegan treats to try along with a nice selection of drinks including a very tasty local cider 😊 We can highly recommend a visit 😊

Lovely small vegetarian and vegan bistro. As the owner has intolerances, they have made effort to make it easier for others to enjoy eating out. All meals have allergen advice listed, nearly all are available in a vegan option and many are gluten free. All cakes are both vegan and home-made, so if nothing else it is a lovely place to go for coffee and cake for those of us with lactose intolerance or of the vegan persuasion. They also have a license and offer a vast range of wines, including both vegetarian and vegan.

Eaten here once and loved the food. If your vegan or vegetarian, or trying to cut down on the meat, and you live in Aberystwyth then I would suggest that it's a no brainer going here! Lovely staff and menu changes regularly. Home cooked food and lovely bottled beer. Decent prices as well and some lovely decadent pudding's.

Great food, AMAZING cakes!! Where else in Aber can you buy a cake that is both vegan & glutenfree - my fav being the caramel cake. We've frequented this little gem a few times now and we've never been disappointed. You don't have to be a vegetarian or vegan to enjoy their freshly made food.

Was sent by the treehouse staff who's cafe had closed, the service was excellent, not a great variety on the menu, but that was even better for us as we find it hard to choose. Super lunch in the Dragonfly yesterday. We both chose the Chip Bowl, with bean ghoulash, which was delicious, even I was spoilt for choice as a gluten free vegan...that doesn't happen often! I had to buy flapjack to bring home as I was full, and that was really good too. We'll be back to try the Buddha Bowl next time. If you're looking for a relaxed, spotless bistro to eat tasty, freshly prepared vege and vegan food, look no further than the Dragonfly Bistro:-)
