I can sum it all up in one word Fantastic... we had Sunday lunch and pudding with our dogs sat outside with a view that was just great .... the staff are so polite and can not do enough for you ... would recommend..

Just had a lovely meal here. Nice to finally find some traditional Welsh food served quickly by some lovely, friendly, attentive staff. Excellent prices, excellent quality and flavour and good selection of food both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Ample parking. Had the cawl starter, butternut squash, beans and cheese pie (was lightly spiced) and four layer chocolate fudge cake with the creamiest vanilla ice-cream.

Nice outdoor seating area alongside the river. Good food and drink ( Note: you can only have anything off the specials menu if seated inside.) A bit out of the way/ off the beaten track - probably easier to get there by boat.

Really nice pub and under new management. Staff are excellent and very friendly. Menu has a good selection of food and drinks. Really nice atmosphere. I wish the new management every success they deserve for their hard work. Family and pet friendly.

Lovely meals here on our holiday one evening meal and had to come back for Sunday lunch. Service was so friendly and accommodating. Food tasted brilliant, you can tell it’s all cooked from scratch on site if your in the area (we were at Bluestones) def recommended

Went for Sunday lunch. We had roast beef dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed the beef just melted in the mouth. They also give the choice of their standard menu as we saw some people having fish and chips which also looked scrumptious.

We are motohome dwellers and we're looking for a place to park for the night. We rang and spoke to a very friendly helpful lady who welcomed us. Parked up in their carpark and had some drinks and the landlord was also very helpful and welcoming too. There was no food on that day so can't review that. I wouldn't attempt to take a large motorhome there in the height of season but a smaller van VW or similar no problem. Nicely situated on the river and some nice walks and scenery.

Visited on 4 consecutive evenings (early Sept 2021), having visited many times over the last 8 years, the quality of the meals has remained consistently high, the portions of the meals and sweets are very generous, the drinks and food ( + additions to the main meals) are competitively priced. The staff are attentive and the service cannot be faulted, If good weather the outside dining is enhanced by the view. Cannot fault the Lawrenny Arms. 10/10, looking forward to our next visit. Visited again in Aug 2022 on five evenings, again the food, surroundings and prices are excellent plus great service, cannot fault the Lawrenny Arms.

Great pub in a beautiful location. We couldn't go inside as we have a little dog but there was a small enclosed area with a heater outside and we were served our food there. A young lad served us and was really polite and helpful as was a young lady who helped him. The food was amazing too. I had the beef curry and my husband had the chilli. We had soup to start which was extremely tasty too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We went here for a Sunday lunch, as we had our dog we had to sit in the rather blustery marquee. We all decided to eat off the standard menu and I had a lovely homemade steak pie. Waitress was friendly as cheerful running around in the dreadful weather. In the dry this location is stunning, please reconsider your dogs indoors policy.

We are on holiday and came across this place by chance, and decided to book for a meal for the next day, we arrived our table was ready the food was delicious and the staff are so lovely and friendly we had a lovely night and will definitely be going back on our next holiday.

Having randomly visited this establishment while in the local area. The Lawreeny Arms is a lovely local pub, serving a great range of food and drinks. The customer service is outstanding! We took our dog too, they provide water bowls with fresh water and even gave our dog a little treat for being so well behaved. A side note to this, all the tables were well spaced out outside and they even have a Marquee for when it gets wet and windy. Definitely worth a visit.

All staff were friendly and ready to help. Proper fresh coffee and cheap (around £2 for an Americano). Fudge brownie cake and custard was delicious. Covid measures were all properly in place; multiple sanitiser stations, one-way system in the pub and for the toilets, distanced tables. Large marquee had been set up to support more patrons outside. Nice ales on tap along with the standard affair. Indoors is cosy with a rustic country feel.
