Visited here in October and the food was some of the best I've ever had! Delicious and varied menu, highly recommend the lamb,staff were really friendly and helpful. Restaurant itself is very clean and tidy with rustic vibes. Highly recommend and a friend of mine also highly recommends the sunday roasts !

I only gave it 4 stars for atmosphere because we booked the table for early evening so we were the only ones there initially. The Mulberry never fails to deliver amazing food and the quality is excellent. As for the service .... the new manager was excellent and made sure the evening went well. I can only give it an overall score of 5 stars because they deserve it. Thanks for a lovely evening... see you next time we're in Saundersfoot.

Fantastic food and incredibly polite staff. Portion sizes initially looked on the smaller side but the flavours are great and there is a richness to the food that leaves you feeling satisfied. I had the chicken bhuna on the main menu and my partner had the sea bass special. Our kids had chicken nuggets and chips and the burger. Food is most definitely freshly cooked! We usually eat in the Harbour restaurant when in Saundersfoot so tonight was a first time here, would recommend coming back!!👍

I visited this famous restaurant this August while on my holiday in lovely Saundersfoot. I have mixed impressions !! Rather unpleasant one !! I saw in videos on YouTube in the past that saying there were good selections of vegetarian/ vegan dishes . But,nothing was stated as vegetarian, or vegan on their menu !! Lol. I am a long time vegetarian. I was dropped off infront of this restaurant by a taxi driver from my accomodation. It was not my choice.( I wanted to go to the harbwr .)But,since I was right there & hungry ,decided to try it ! 1st ,the server was very nice .Then my pasta dish arrived & it was very delicious, but SUPER SPICY !! If this was years ago ,I couldn't had been able to finish it !! Haha. I have built-up the tolerance over decades of living in L.A.as we eat Mexican foods a lot here !! Lol.Then, when I was about to pay ,I wanted to give a good tip regardless despite that's NOT a CUSTOM there in Wales ,or England, U.k.,but it was not on menu ( they should had have vegetarian & vegan dishes ,it's 21st century & vegans are going strong !! Lol.) & I have the habit of tipping well !! So,I told I WANTED to give him 15% ,he answered if I could had given him MORE !!! Lol The amount he asked for was more than 20% !!!! So,I told him that was more than 20% ,or what I should had given him !! His attitude changed after that !! He was very unhappy ! I'll never go back there again !! Lol. I am already planning to go back to Wales with my mom ,Saundersfoot is definitely included !!! But ,this place isn't !! Shame !! As it's located at a very good spot & the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice ,though the staff weren't much friendly .They have a good reputation & the customers there were very nice enjoying their meals ! I had a very good conversations with them there !! And it's very convenient as right next to Tesco Express which I frequented while staying in Saundersfoot. Hoping they'll improve their menu & services !!

Guests of a rowing team... quirky decor.. Great staff.. the food was amazing. I had the Scallops, fillet steak, others had the curry and Monkfish... all of it was superb... the key thing was the relaxed but fast service and excellent food.. I mean I would go there again tomorrow...

This is a nice and cosy restaurant which has a nice atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, friendly and provided a good service through the evening. There is a good range of food, so you should be able to find something you'll enjoy. All the food we were served was of good quality, well cooked and very well presented on the plate. All in all a very nice restaurant and will hopefully get to visit again in the future

What a wonderful restaurant! Great classics with a South Asian twist to them (eg roast salmon with a rasam broth) and also some standard (and delicious) classics (seafood linguine). Lovely staff who we took great care of us throughout our dinner. Would’ve loved to have much more if we weren’t so full by the end of our mains. Really lovely restaurant, highly recommend stopping by!

Highly recommended. We pre booked our first visit. Amazing little venue we were told about by friends, as soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be fab.. Was decorated so lovely for Xmas. presented with a nice cold bottle of water for the table, Starters were incredible, when ordering what Sunday roast we wanted we were asked how we liked our beef cooked.. 😍 Really did enjoy our visit here the food was spot on the amazing value for money will def be coming going back when we next visit Saundersfoot x

We booked this in advance for New Year's Day for a friend's birthday, and we weren't disappointed. The food was absolutely excellent, and the service was great. It was a little disappointing to have to vacate our table after two hours, but this had been mentioned up front and we were able to go to the bar instead. I loved the menu, but one of our party found it a little difficult to find something she liked as the menu was quite unusual and a little exotic for her taste.

Delicious food!! Loved visiting The Mulberry. They were very good with social distancing, asking people to keep masks on until they were seated and if they moved around the restaurant. The food was near perfect. We had calamari to start, I had the duck and my husband had the salmon. We could not fault much of anything. A couple of the calamari rings were slightly over, but otherwise mouth-wateringly delicious. Definitely worth going to for an evening out with your favourite person/ people.

Absolutely beautiful food. The staff are so friendly and helpful. There's a great choice of menu and specials. Plenty of choice of beverage also. Will definitely visit again! I'd recommend booking in advance but the staff will find a table for non bookers if your prepared to wait for a table.

What a restaurant, absolutely superb. There were 15 in our group, celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. We had about 12 different mains, each one was absolutely faultless. If you ever get a chance, dine here.

Service was not good, it was not that there was not enough people serving, it was the manner of the staff. It seemed only one person knew what she was doing, staff seemed to enjoy chatting more than ensuring all was OK with customers. Only thing that saved it was food was fairly good.

Dog friendly so nice to eat in a quality place, which wasn't segregated. Five of us went for a meal Tuesday night. The staff were friendly. We all had a different starter no complaints and then 4 of us had steak. Got a bit mixed with the mediums and rare but got there in the end ! Only thing I didn't like were the chips and a bit stingy on the mushrooms and tomatoes. May I suggest you buy in frozen rustic chips if you don't have time to do your own they are so nice !! As a local I would go again.

The Mulberry is the best restaurant in Saundersfoot. To us anyway. We ate here three times 2019. and twice this year. They have a varied menu. We had the salmon and vegetable currie, both cooked to perfection. The Worthington Bitter was excellent and well worth a try if you are a dark beer bitter man. The staff were very polite and helpful. But, as in my review of the Royal Oak; on our first visit here we had the great pleasure of the owners of dog letting it bark. It was quiet at first, until they started feeding it, then it barked every time it wanted more. Why do these people think this is acceptable behavior? Perhaps some dog owners might take heed of this comment.

We booked for Sunday lunch, first of all I was disappointed with the selection of soft drinks! Not everyone drinks alcohol especially in the daytime. I was offered soda water or orange juice. No bottles or cans of soft drinks. Eventually we found out they had Pepsi on tap but not what I really wanted. Didn't think much of the starter either. Pate with a few crisp breads. The main meal was nice especially the beef which melted in your mouth, the vegetables were ok but would really have liked mashed potato rather than just all roast potato's. Probably wouldn't call again as nothing special for the price.

First visit today for Sunday lunch. It was recommended by our daughter and it did not disappoint. Good food and great service in an unexpectedly cosy environment. We were so impressed we have made provisional reservations for Christmas Day Lunch ! We stopped on spec today and were very lucky to get a table, I think its wise to book a table though. This place is about experience, not price, and therefore that's what you pay for.... the whole package.... and all the better for that. Thanks to all the team.

Turned up here for lunch, soaked to the skin after walking from Tenby in torrential rain. First place we saw, and I wouldn't have blamed them for turning us away as we looked such a state. The opposite happened, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. We did wait a little while for the food which suits me fine when it is clearly homemade and delicious.Seeing my 10 year old son wolfing down an adult portion steak and mushroom pie was a sight to behold. I, personally can highly recommend the lamb and my wife was most impressed with the fishcake. Prices were responsible given the quality of the food and portion sizes. Overall a great impromptu experience during a time when a lot of places round here seem to be dishing up over priced tourist rubbish.

Very nice food but at quite a high price. On the night we went there was reduced staff but even so, the service was incredibly slow. My wife is coeliac and while there was no specific gluten free menu, the staff were happy to help her decide and explained which things were gluten free (including chips done in a separate frier which often aren't suitable for coeliacs). I had lobster and the price was reduced but I only found out when I was paying. It was a nice surprise but had we have known sooner, it might have changed what others went for. It was a bit of a strange vibe with no real theme and a bit of everything on the menu

Used to be a great place when under previous management, however its gone downhill a lot since they left. Food is still good but the service is lacking. Waited about 30 minutes for a menu! Some orders forgotten, no butter with the bread rolls, seems to be little attention to detail now, which is a real shame as this was top notch previously. Other people were heard saying similar things about their experiences as they left the restaurant, the last time we were there. If they can sort the service out, it can be a really good restaurant again as its a nice setting and the food is good.

This hotel charged the fee for both days of my stay 7 days before arrivel, said it was a mistake and they had charged my card as deposit for mine and another person's room. On arrival reception was unmanned as same person was being bar person. Room was good , breakfast good, Hotel did not seem to be very wheel chair accessible. Also there seemed confusion over the use of the public toilets as at the start of our stay they were open then closed. Overhaul feel the shutdown as left the management and staff a little unsure of there procedures

You have to know this is a much better than average restaurant, check the menu, the choices and descriptions alone draw you in. I was part of a party of 6, we booked in advance otherwise we wouldn't have got in, and even then we got our second choice of evening. But it was worth it. Interior is rustic but smart, the welcome was warm and the service friendly. The place was busy but we didn't feel overlooked or overheard. Food quality was excellent as was the wine list which was varied, interesting and well priced. Standards were high all round, it was a special treat for us but very enjoyable and worth every penny.

We went for dinner tonight. The owners were very generous and treated us with their speciality items. The food was awesome. I loved their vegetable curry&rice, Bombay Aloo, Aloo Tikki, Rasam, Mocktail and bhajiya. Food was mindblowing. The bread was exceptional served warm with butter. My kids loved it. We were visiting Wales from London. I can confidently say, the quality of food and vegetarian food preparatiom was better than many restaurants I tried in London. Staff, service and ambience are also of very high standard enhancing the pleasant experience at this restaurant. I highly reccommend this restaurant for vegetarian food. As I am a vegetarian. Boom, what a place!! We were only walk ups on a Saturday night chancing our luck, the wonderful staff got us sat at the bar until a table could be prepped and treated us like we were regular visitors.... Enjoyed the meal, nice selection of vegetables for the Sunday lunch. Service was good, staff pleasant. My only criticism is the restaurant was cold, on what was a rather cold day, we were seated quite a way from any doors so it should have been warmer. This was my second visit I went the same time last year and it was cold then also. Such a shame the temperature spoilt the experience. Hence the 4 not 5 star.

Disappointing. The staff are new and inexperienced, so because of this the service was incredibly slow. Because of this, we didn't have to pay for our drinks. In addition, the tandoori chicken was bland. Two huge chunks of chicken meat, with only the skin lightly spiced. I would advise going a few weeks after this review has been posted, (August 5th) as at the moment they are losing a lot of money due to the new staff.

We were on a weekend trip from London for the weekend here and popped down here on a Saturday night. First observation is that the "vibe" in here is really lovely. Exposed brick walls and lots of different levels to the place gives it a very "cute" atmosphere. Food was also really nice. I wouldn't say it's life changingly good, but that doesn't take away from us having a really nice evening.

A good standard achieved at this busy restaurant , steak was well cooked and fish very tasty. Now into July and to be sure of a table in the evening you must make a reservation. Very good house wine which is reasonably priced. Each main comes with a choice of salad or veg and choice of chips, saute, or boiled potatoes so you won't go hungry.

The mulberry is a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Saundersfoot, we have dined here on numerous occasions and the food is always first class the atmosphere is very friendly as are the extremely efficient staff, it is a great place to enjoy a cosy meal for two or for entertaining family and friends definitely the best restaurant in the town and certainly worth finding time to visit, booking is advisable as it tends to get very busy at certain times.
