Andys is consistent and always good quality. Been eating his fish and chips for over 20 years now. Only criticism I'd give is sometimes the fish is a little small these days compared to earlier times but overall I can't complain 😊

I love the food here! Always beautiful and fresh. I honestly can't say the same for customer service though, I see they always feel down and aren't very upbeat. Its almost like they want you to leave as quick as you arrive. But the food is absolutely 10/10 and I can't fault that at all.

This place has many fans, no doubt. It's ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. Went from chippy to a takeaway offering pizzas and kebabs. Do some good meal deals like bogof pizzas. Fresh fish cooked to order which is a plus. Tastes ok. £5.20 for fish and chips as I write this.

The best fish and chips, especially when taken to the beach to eat. I grew up on Walney, so have been using this chipper for over 50 years. Portions are huge, and 2 portions easily feed 3 of us. Fast service despite its' popularity and delivery service available. Watch out for the seagulls if you take your supper to the beach, they are fans of Andy's too!

Fantastic little spot. My friend Sam took me (he works in the area) and the fish was perfect. We ate it looking over the sea and I have to say it was the best chippy I've had that year!!

I am a long time customer of Matties but as they are shut dut to the virus I placed an order for fish and chips at Andies. An excellent choice delivered on time and still nice and hot despite the journey to Hawcoat. Will use again next week

Down from Scotland to visit daughter round corner and decided to go for our tea at Andy's, shop was busy when I went in but didn't take long to get served, ordered 2 fish and 1sausage and I can honestly say the meals were first class, the chips were perfectly cooked. Total cost +2cans juice was £13 odds, was at wetherspoons the night before and Andy's fish was 100% better 😀

They prefer to sell fresh fried haddock which I love if you want frozen fried fish you order on entry, I love their haddock and can get a pensioners smaller portion of chips which is great.

Just to reply to John mcguldrick review this guy order 4 pizzas on the pizza offer which he paid for a large pizza got a second large pizza for £2.00 he also got a second medium pizza for £1.50 we also threw in free delivery so this guy saved himself £14.00 on the original price by choosing the pizza deals and he still wants more for free we are glad to see you wont be using us again and I will make sure you stick to that as you are the kind of customer no takeaway wants
