Great Indian restaurant with amazing food. Went as a group of 4. We all loved our food and the speed of the service. That said, a couple of my friends weren't as happy with the service. Some of the wait staff didn't apologise when interrupting to put down and take away dishes. I also noticed one of our plates was wet and there was an empty tea light holder with wax residue on our table. With some patience you'll definitely enjoy this restaurant. Recommended for a great Indian meal. I would definitely go again

Absolutely loved our night out at this lovely little hidden gem. Top notch intimate setting, fantastic food and professional service at bargain prices. Try the saag paneer, it's heaven!

Very very surprised. Ordered online for collection. Come and food was ready but it fair because I come 10 min after order and I don't mine to wait for another 15 min and get fresh, just made and delicious food. Portions was really big. Food was amazing. And they even gave some refreshments untill we waited. Best service possible. Highly recommended to everyone and visit for sure. Thank you guys for nice food and amazing experience

Really nice meal, we had set meal for two with a few extras as we had a child as well. Good service but we sat downstairs and a lot of delivery drivers back and forth. Minor thing but would advice siting upstairs if you can.

June 26th Meal Service Excellent. Food…. Very very good. Seek Kebab starter very moist & spicy with good quality sauce. Pakora equally as good. Main course flavoursome & the man bread with coriander light and very garlicky. 100% I will revisit & good to sample a restaurant doing great food at reasonable prices all round.

Come here yesterday for a meal with my girlfriend as we both enjoy Indian food. The staff were really friendly, polite and could not be more helpful. With it being NYE the restaurant was busy so they sat us upstairs which was fine. The food portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. However the bombay potatoes were quite dry (with not much sauce in the dish) as too was the onion bhaji. It was still a pleasant meal and I would urge anyone to go and give the place a try.

Ordered the talapia fish, Tariq Dal, rice and garlic naan. We're from Leicester, the home of Indo-Pak food and can honestly say this was the best flavour freshness and flavour combo. Service was great. Also found out that their lamb is from Khanjra and that appears to b HMC. Of we'd known earlier we'd have ordered that. Restaurant was constantly busy with requests for take away.

A little bit disappointed. We were a table of two but both starters and mains were over salted which did spoil the taste. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very good food. We had starters that came prompt and fresh. Waiter was helpful when I asked question regarding the Mirish, it tasted great so glad I listened. Wife and son had Tikka Masala and no complaints. My only complaint which I say about most places is no Coke Zero, everyone needs to replace Diet with Zero. Other than that it was very nice and highly recommend.

Had a takeaway from here for the first time...special mixed saagwala and extra hot madras, garlic pilau rice....good sized portions, reasonable price and absolutely delicious...without a doubt the best Indian in barrow...and we have tried a few!! Thank you team.for a lovely meal 😀

We picked this place at random, and boy are we glad we did. I had an Indian style fish dish, as did my wife. It was one of the best Indian meals either of us have ever had. The price was very reasonable, the service prompt and unfussy. Can't recommend highly enough.

I have eaten here 3 times now, different dishes each time. The staff are friendly and the food is consistently good. When busy it can seem a little noisy, due to the size. We had the Tandori mix, so many different things on one plate, it was great.

Had a anniversary meal hear last night. I told the manager that I was on a diet and got a fantastic meal. Not a trace of oil or fat. My main course was the tandori mixed. And my wife has a south Indian curry. A bottle of nice wine aswell. Fantastic meal and service.

A life saver! Was desperate food for some Indian food on my trip to this remote place - when finally got hold of shaba I wasn’t expecting much as my experience tells me when businesses do monopoly, they care less about customer service or food quality. I was proven wrong; the staff were extremely friendly and the food was beyond mesmerising. The taste of that dansak was out of the world. Would definitely recommend the place to curry lovers.

Considering this is the only Indian restaurant in Barrow. The food is of good quality with a decent choice of regional dishes available. Easily comparable to big city restaurants, I wouldn't be ashamed to bring my friends from away here!

Really impressed with our first visit. Very helpful staff and also included a couple of free Budweiser with our takeaway. My partner got the salmon machli which was full of different flavours, I got the South Indian garlic mirchi which was nice and fiery and full of flavour from fresh chilli and garlic. Keema and veg rice was one of the best iv had, naan was also very tasty. Definatly looking forward to trying something else on the menu very soon.
