First time ordering from here, and my god is it incredible!! By far the best burger myself and my girlfriend have ever eaten. Beautifully presented, tastes phenomenal. The chips are perfect, I couldn’t fault one aspect of it. Incredible work hometown! I’ll be back 👍👍

Brilliant food. Have ordered and fire chicken wrap and a donner wrap previously. Both filled with tastey filling and sauce. Loaded fries are brilliant. Great flavour, good delivery time and piping hot on arrival. Will defo be ordering again.

Pleasant atmosphere, Mango lassi was excellent. They open at 3.30pm great place to chill with a drink and snacks. Found them by accident but will pop in again.

This place was recommended by a local resident. What a fab recommendation. Called up to make an order for collection, was ready on time. The person on front of house was very polite. The food was fantastic. Very flavoursome. The Firehouse burger needs to come with a disclaimer, IT WILL HIT THOSE TASTE BUDS WITH SONE SERIOUS SPICE. Up until now I have been travelling to MK for burgers like this, but not anymore, will definitely be paying my Hometown burger place a visit soon. Thanks guys

Been meaning to try this place since it opened, and oh my god am I glad we did! HUGE butterfly chicken and peri rice, absolutely delicious! And Hubby said his doner and chips was tasty too! Also very reasonable prices. Will definitely be ordering from here again, and very soon! Thanks guys!

Wow amazing, tasty, delicious and freshly cooked food 😋. Best fire grill chicken🍗 and sizzling king prawn🍤 I’ve ever had. Kids loved the burgers and chips and said was the best in town, looked delicious and amazing, definitely will order again. Cant wait to sit in and try the amazing menu 😊. Everything was good….apart from the fully loaded chips….which were basically raw and covered in some white slime rather than cheese which I had to bin… so maybe the restaurant could work on this for future reference

Ordered from this place first time today. Lamb chops after few bits went into the bin. There was no possibility to eat it. But fire grilled chicken! Beautiful!!!! Very well cooked, still amazingly juicy. Chips also very nice. U can tell it was fresh made, no old oil. Will defo order chicken again and recommend to friends. Thank you and good luck!

Hidden gem. My son and I dropped in after seeing how cosy it looked from the outside. We decided to eat in and I was expecting the usual Bedford kebab shop food. WRONG. These guys are a cut above, I don't know what the secret Krabby Patty recipe is, but I want it... Best burgers we've had in a while. Thankyou 😊

Disappointed this time around with the food. My double beef burger was burnt black on both patties and the chips that came with the meal weren't very hot. The other burger was nice though

I have ordered from here numerous times. The food here is delicious. I have tried all the Burgers and I can say that they are made very well. I always get them to put in extra Sauce in the burgers, as I enjoy the extra flavour. The chicken is grilled very nicely, and they always cater to my bespoke requests. Hometown is a great addition for a restaurant that has the potential to become the best in Bedford and Kempston. The customer service there is very polite and friendly.

Really impressed tonight. Ordered a takeaway from their app. Great prices for a proper amount of food. Chicken wrap was delicious and I'm told the lamb burger was too. Nice chips. My son had a double burger which was seriously massive and very dense and actually filled up a tall bottomless 16 year old. Staff were nice too. Will def come back.

We've been ordering from Hometown for about a year now, and they're absolutely magic. The food is clearly cooked with care and attention every time. I usually order the 1/2 fire chicken, witch can give Nandos a run for it's money 7 days out of 7. I also once ordered a hot chicken wrap from them, thinking it would only be of small size, and it was so large and so well-loaded, it lasted me two days! The KFC Twister wrap officially has a heavyweight competitor. The chips are crispy and seasoned beautifully every time too, not limp or soft or wet like a lot of big chain takeaways tend to be when you order in. I've also sampled the sizzling minted lamb chops and the sizzling whole sea bass, and both were divine (even if the portion sizes of both dishes leave something to be desired!). We're exceptionally lucky to have Hometown Cafe here in Kempston, Bedfordshire. Order in and taste it for yourselves.

Great little café, first time visiting as it looked good from the outside. You can eat in or takeaway, good varied menu. The restaurant and toilet were spotless and staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked some questions about the menu. The food was presented very well in a takeaway box, the burger was wrapped separately in the box. The food was hot and fresh and tasted delicious. The chips were crispy and not greasy, the burger was tasty and cooked well and was served in a brioche bun which was a nice touch. The price was very reasonable and included a soft drink for £5.95. Definitely would visit again.

I love this place! I’ve ordered a few times now and love that they have a variety of things in the menu which means that the kids can have burgers but I can choose something like the chicken bhuna (very tasty) or the chicken strips and peri rice (moist, flavoursome chicken). Overall everyone is happy when we order from here.

The chicken was juicy, tender and flavoursome. Price on the higher side, but the taste makes up for it, probably the best in bedford at the moment. Biryani was poor, alot of meat, but lack flavour and not enough spice and tasted quite dry. The Shaktora Donor was flavoured OK, portion on the small size, abut like the chips which were tasty and season well, but small portion again. Overall decent, would go again for chicken.
