Was warmly welcomed as soon as I walked in, fish & chips was cooked fresh to order, really nice, polite guys working here. Generous portion size, well presented and very tasty. The shop was really clean and well maintained with parking right outside. Will definitely be returning

I am SO DELIGHTED that Rumbles Fish Bar has opened in Wootton, Bedford. It is managed and run by some lovely Turkish people. Alex, one of the men running the Wootton Rumbles Fish Bar, always has a smile to greet you, and very friendly. I have tried several different items on the menu, and all have been amazing. Wootton has become a very large ‘village’ in the past few years, and although it was well served by a good selection of small supermarkets, it didn’t have a really good takeaway outlet, which meant residents either had to order takeaway food from outside the village via ‘Just Eat’ etc, to be delivered, or they had to get into their cars and drive into Bedford to collect a takeaway meal. However, now, Wootton finally has its own, excellent takeaway venue, which serves fish and chips, kebabs, burgers etc, all at reasonable prices for a family treat. My only criticism, as an older, single person, is that they only offer either a ‘regular’ or ‘large’ portion of chips, which are both far too large for a single, older person, so I wish they would also offer a ‘small’ or ‘child sized’ portion of chips as an option on their menu as well, but maybe they will do so in the future, especially with the cost of living crisis affecting us all so badly.

Only got chips and curry sauce but they were cooked fresh despite being quiet. Large fluffy chips, Very nice and curry sauce was some of the best ive had. will be returning.

Went here the other night after finishing work late was absolutely delighted ordered chicken and chips Portion size was great I really could not finish it all definitely worth a try Staff were Very friendly and welcoming and very clean and tidy Will definitely be going back
