Really good place by the river and among other restaurants. Tasty dishes as usual and enjoyed every bit of it. Even though I am ok using chopsticks sometimes I need a spoon to get last bit of rice on the plate. Little disappointed that there were no cutlery on the table. Had Dough-chi cookie dough balls with ice cream centre for the first time. I had to eat this dessert using my hand. Is that how it meant to be eaten? Not sure the waiter didn’t give a dessert spoon anyway. So had to eat the ice cream balls dripping from my fingers. Give 5 stars even though a little disappointed with no cutlery.

Nice place in nice location. It's clean and tidy. However, dear waiter - when you serve at a table - please put my cutlery on a napkin. And why I have to ask about a napkin at all? That's only a detail but it can spoil whole visit. One more thing: the lights in yours bathroom are not bright enough. In fact it was quite dark. Portion size is another matter. It was huge! Huge but tasty. I enjoyed so thanks for that. I definitely can recommend it.

The service and atmosphere of this place is amazing. We had a large party and ordered about 16 appetizers and the waitress was phenomenal and very patient with us. My only gripe is that I felt the Ramen was just average and the vegetables were not diced uniformly.

I went here with my teenage son for lunch on a Thursday, and we had a pleasant time. The venue was clean and cool (which was welcome, as it was 32°C outside), and the service was prompt and friendly. The food was nice, although I inadvertently ordered a dish which was tasty, but not that filling (vegetable hiyashi bowl). Not their fault - I should have realised that 400kcal probably wasn't going to fill me up.

Wow!!! Ive not been for a while but tbh the food was amazing as I remembered and the service was on point.. not hassled at all and left to enjoy my food and drink. The food is all cooked fresh and the taste was sublime.. had pulled pork gyoza to start and wow u have to try these!!! They r like heaven.. followed by grilled duck donburi again was sublime and cooked to perfection as expected. Couldnt have asked for more.. cant wait to return very very soon!!!!! Nice place and the staff were friendly and helpful and although we had a long wait for a table we were reassured and given information by staff. Our server was very nice and had a great sense of humour! The food was ok'ish but not the quality expected, I had the beef brisket which was tasty however the portion was for a child, the chocolate cake was to die for and that is something I would definitely have again.

I’ll start by saying me and my wife love Wagamamas even though they got rid of her favourite dish, chicken chilli men. This restaurant being brand new is clean, tidy, staff are fast and very polite. My gripes are that my rice was under and crunchy and that the bill for two adult meals and one child’s meal was the best part of £50!.. That’s just too expensive for chain food eating. With tip it pushed it up over £50. The restaurant wasn’t busy considering it was Christmas lights turn on night and the town centre was rocking. The pricing may be the issue....

I absolutely love the food although it's on the priciest side. The service was ok, our waitress was very nice. I didn't really like the way they serve food because my husband got his first then came the starters and much later my food, so basically I was staring at my husband eating for good 20 min while being hungry 🙃. The couple next to us accidentally broke a glass which happens to anyone but the staff failed to clean all the broken glass of the floor and I witnessed how a lady almost fell down due to the slippery floor. Would be good if the restaurant paid more attention to the potential hazards.

We have been to a few locations but Bedford Wagamama is by fair the best regarding quality of food and quality of service. We had an amazing experience, had dishes recommended to us which were amazing and the staff went above and beyond. Our family were very impressed and will revisit this location regularly.

Popped in for dinner. Not many visitors in the restaurant but SD measures in place and T&T all setup. Obviously attentive staff and we had a really good meal. All freshly prepared and very tasty. My daughter loves this place and I have previously been indifferent but this latest visit was very good. I'll go back!

First time going out to a restaurant since Covid hit. Felt Comfortable they have tables away from others and a screen between you aswell and they wear face visors 24/7 felt comfortable and the food was amazing I recommend the kazu chicken curry. Stuff was very friendly it is card only payment and they don't take cash tips so tip on thr card I unfortunately didn't no that at the time. I went with 2 kids they got high chairs and drawing menu. Overall great visit.

I may willingly come back. The last few times I’ve come in, I wasn’t overly impressed with the service and I understand that the food comes out as it’s done, rather than traditional courses. Tonight we came for a friends birthday (after last time I really didn’t want to eat here). Food quality has never been an issue just the dispense speed and service. Due to the waitress we had tonight, I will eat my own words. Her check backs with the table were appropriately spaced. She was attentive but didn’t float around table. Her recommendations were good and came off as personal. Her attitude was exactly what our table needed, light hearted and fun. She was that good... tipped or card and cash. My main regret is not remembering her name. Dark hair, shaved side of head, absolutely brilliant F***ing service. P.S. You lost a star because I had to put the T.P on to the holders when I used the bathroom.

Staff are fantastic and friendly and with the communal tables it makes a good atmosphere with people talking to others that were complete strangers before they came in. Beautiful setting by the river, that will get even better in the spring and summer. The food is fresh and healthy and the staff can help you around the menu and nothing is too much trouble, and if you have an allergy, not a problem, as they will go through the menu showing what you can have or what can be changed to suit your needs. It's not stuffy, great food and service and normally a good sound track to accompany your meal. Give it a go if you want something a little bit different and enjoyable.

Very good food with very good service. We hadn't booked and there was plenty of spare tables. There were 4 in our party of which one was a vegan who was well catered for. We also had deserts and can recommend the cheesecake which was superb. A top tip is that the green tea on the dessert menu is free.

I had a good allergy to Squid/calamari and they went to great care to make sure I didn't get food that was contaminated with anything that could possibly have squid in it or contact with it. Food and setting and service were excellent, a great riverside location with outdoor seating and bi fold doors that opens up the restaurant on sunny days. In my opinion: the best place for oriental fusion food in Beds, as the the quality of the ingredients and the overall dishes are superb. The only downside was that the draught beer systems were off line upon my visit. The staff were brilliant, and have a great understanding of the menu, which helps guide your choices, and there level of service was excellent.

By the strangest of coincidences, eating ramen here was my first meal in the UK. The menu has traditional Japanese ramen but also has Korean and Thai influences that create a fusion of flavors that pair perfectly together. Service was fast and the food was delicious and delightful! I can't wait to try other dishes on my next visit (probably tomorrow).

Great place to eat. Very friendly staff. Had a lovely date with my wife on a beautiful spring day by the river front. Wagamamas opened up the front of the restaurant and placed tables and chairs outside in the gorgeous weather under shade. Food was top notch too!

The food is edible but not amazing. Although I am spoiled as I have lived in Asia and have eaten some great food in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. The choice for Vegans is good although I found the menu a little confusing. I would not consider the food to be good value for what you are served. The service was OK, inasmuch staff were very helpful but we had long waits for food. If you are there with friends for a meal this is no problem, with a young family, the time you have to wait is a pain in the neck. If you are looking for a good experience with friends then Wagamamas Bedford is the place for you. If you are wanting amazing food that is value for money then I would look elsewhere.

This is a relatively new restaurant which is nicely situated by the river. The interior is spacious and modern and the staff are friendly. They did get part of our order wrong but gave us the extra dish for free so no harm done. Don't know if it's me but Wagamama seems to be quite pricey now so they lose a star!
