Reasonably priced tapas and great service. It's a bit difficult to tell from the menu what is a sharing dish and what is just for one person. Definitely not the most authentic Spanish food you'll find but it's tasty nonetheless.

Our first time trying tapas and our first visit to Belfast. Food was fantastic, we were served by German. He was very helpful, quite new to the team but you couldn't tell. We thought that being a Tuesday it may be fairly quiet but how wrong we were! The place was buzzing, music was good and the staff really friendly. Word of advice-if you haven't had tapas before, the portions are very filling, especially the bread and oil section. When we come back to Belfast we will definitely be back to the 2 Taps

Found this restaurant during a leisure visit to Belfast. So glad we did, excellent food, good service, great value and really pleasant atmosphere. We were looked after by a young lad named Pial who was great, very knowledgeable and attentive without being invasive. Definitely on our list of restaurants to return to and would highly recommend.

A characterful restaurant opposite the Merchant Hotel. Firstly the staff were friendly and helpful. Given it was our first visit they were able to help/ recommend suitable menu choices. Lovely place. Had seafood paella. If I was honest the muscles in the dish let it down. No mussels in shell worth talking about very small and sparce. Red sangria very nice. Staff very pleasant and attentive.

We really enjoyed our visit today, every dish was delicious highly recommend the empanada and the calamari. The gin sour cocktails I could have sipped on all night but visiting with 2 young children wasn't an option😉 the staff were very welcoming and friendly and my 2 girls were delighted when handed a treat bag which contained various little gifts and it was a lovely touch. Nice atmosphere and quick service, but the food was just ok. We enjoyed the red wine sangria and ordered a second jug. The tiger prawns were quite rubbery and the goats cheese fritters and vegetarian empananda were something I felt I could have bought frozen and thrown in the oven myself. However, the churros were very good. The price isn't outrageous by any means but I felt it was a bit dear for the quality of what we got. Saying all that, there is a good buzz there and the COVID cleanliness was very well managed. I would probably eat there again in a group setting but maybe not for a date night.

The food was really good & staff naturally friendly. The tapas served here is quite authentic, with an abundance of choice. Portions are larger than I would expect from tapas. Price reflect this but 5 tapas would be plenty for two to share. Really large terrace at the front great to watch the world go by. Sardines were delicious:)

My favourite place in Belfast! Been here a couple of times now and always come here when my family are up from galway. We love it 💪 Today was my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend and by special request we got a cheese cake and a chocolate drawn happy anniversary on a slate such a nice thing for the staff to do even though they are busy! Amazing staff, lovely Atmosphere couldn't reccommend this place enough ❤️

Brilliant place for food and drinks, proven time and time again. 2taps have a great indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area is kept warm with heaters so no need to worry about sitting in the freezing cold! The food is amazing, with a great variety of tapas, all of which are absolutely delicious. The Pan fresco is a great way to get to start your table off. Today, we got the Piri piri chicken wings, the pork meatballs, morrocan lamb tagine, the scampi and the patatas fritas. I really appreciated the server's recommendations as I probably would not have ordered the tagine but I am so glad I did! The service and staff were great. We were served by a lady with blonde hair and a waiter with glasses. The drinks are reasonably priced too. I got a mojito, it wasn't too overpowering with the taste of the rum or mint. It was absolutely perfect and was presented and garnished in a lovely crystal glass. Sangria also cannot me missed! I will definitely continue to go to 2taps and hope to work my way round the menu 😁 2taps is one of a kind and is a credit to Belfast.

The idea is tapas so dishes don't appear massive, but that means you can try more dishes. Menu well structured and with plenty of options which is great people with more picky tastes or dietary restrictions (like me 😅). Tastewise overall: GREAT. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dishes didn't take very long despite the place being full. Came here for the first time for my birthday and do intend to return if I'm in the area.

Food is great, menu is suitable for lots of different diets (vegetarian, gluten free, low carb, etc) and staff were lovely. Had a delicious meal in 2taps. They would have received 5 stars but for a couple of things. The chicken wings which were described on the menu as coated in honey glaze were disappointingly served in a pool of disgusting barbecue sauce, plus no finger bowl was supplied. Had to leave a review before I've even left the place. All staff were brilliant 10/10 for service Food was amazing, great variety of different food, amazing prices and tasted amazing 10/10. Paella was outstanding. Espresso martinis were the best I've ever had 10/10 Sangria although maybe a touch off being 100% authentic were amazing, prefer them. Over the proper Spanish ones. Best thing of the night was the live music from Raymie Eastwood. Seriously this was the cherry on top of the night. Everything was perfect from the food to the staff to the sangria to the pricing. But the atmosphere was really really top top notch. Will be back again for my birthday in August. Proper amazing spot in Belfast, cannot reccomend this place enough. Have only been once myself as a friend recommended. Had a great meal on a Sunday evening with my girlfriend. We had white sangria, selection of breads with pesto, olive and sundried tomato tapenades and then we shared a paella. The whole meal was fantastic, great value and the staff were really friendly. The muscles in the paella were the best that I've tasted. Highly recommend and will be back myself.

Great atmosphere in this Spanish style tapas restaurant. Beautiful sunny afternoon in Belfast, and I was able to choose a table outside under the shade. A family run business with efficient and dedicated staff. All very pleasant and willing to accommodate their diners. Great variety on the menu, I had whitebait, which I hadn't eaten for years and it was absolutely delicious, with some Spainish style potatoes. Ok needed to soak up the bottles of Corona, that were going down far too easily in the brilliant sunshine, and the singer/guitarist playing. My friend enjoyed a tortilla, and a dessert , which he enjoyed. Relaxing atmosphere, with couples, groups of girls ,groups of fellas, and families enjoyed to have lunch, or start their evening. I'll definitely return.

We got a table straight away indoors which was impressive as we thought it would have been busier for Paddy's day. I shared tapas with another, the bread aver dips sound simple, but the flavours are amazing, we also shared calamari, and as meat dish which was pretty much cottage pie! The least Spanish dish we ordered. The paellas looked impressive and were generous in size, but I thought they lacked flavour. The staff could haves been more attentive, but it was a busy time.

Lovely little Spanish tapas restraunt facing the merchant hotel, food is always beautiful, and generally a nice cosy atmosphere, my only complaint was the last time we were there they seemed to be short staffed, but the manager tried his best to sort everything he was a true credit to the place, unfortunately the other two waitresses on shift did not seem to be as eager to work as he was and seemed to be swinging the lead a bit. Leaving the guy to run about like a headless chicken while they went for smoke breaks or skived off somewhere out of sight. Which was the only thing that pissed me off .
