Good place for lunch with kids. Steak were done right (tried sirloin and rump), and so were the sides like chunky chips and onion rings. Staff were friendly and attentive and they offered crayons and a drawing book to keep my 5 year old thoroughly entertained. Will definitely come again in future to try other stuff like burgers etc.

My husband and I traveled into Belfast mid afternoon. We were walking around and found Bar & Block! Ream our sever and he was wonderful. He suggested a few items to try off the menu and we really glad we selected his suggestions. When we come back to Belfast we will definitely return to Bar & Block and request Ream to be our server.

Great Lunch which stretched into the evening. The 3 of us gents of a certain age gathered at the Bar and Block for a meat feast of a lunch . We were well taken care of by Lindsey and Marty. We weren’t the most docile of patrons, requesting “off menu” items like cheeseboards, chilled tawny port etc . The staff bantered hilariously back and forth and did outstandingly well. Indeed, the lunch stretched into an Afternoon Session when 3 satisfied but grumpy old men sloshed into the streets of Belfast in search of “chilled tawny port”. Thanks for a laughter filled afternoon .

Had a great meal here recently, loved the surroundings, steak was top notch, out for an anniversary dinner and the server Marty couldn't do enough for us, every question was answered and every request was seen to, which made our evening even better. Will definitely make this place a regular one to visit. And thanks Marty!!

I love this place. Customer service is 11/10. I had breakfast here for 6.99 and for this price I could order anything I want multiple times. Coffee, orange juice, toasts, eggs, porridge,yoghurts, many many more. I've been serviced by very friendly girl Magda. She brought me croissants in the end to take with me and eat later. Highly recommend this place.

wow just wow just been here tonight with my husband son n his girlfriend we ate everythin my steak n chips were absolutely beautiful we forgot to take pics but we all had empty plates from starters main meals n desserts we thoughly enjoyed our food company and the staff were lovely and friendly we will be back next time we come to visit ireland to see our son and his girlfriend.

Great restaurant with great food! We arrived around 8 without a reservation and that was no problem. I had a salty beef salad, which was delicious! If you look at my picture it may not look as a lot but I was very full afterwards. However, I luckily had enough space in my belly left for the best dessert ever: pavlova! It was delicious. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you look good quality

We were a large party of 13 on Monday evening at 7pm celebrating a special birthday . Our food was delicious and served quickly . Darren , Claude and girl serving behind bar (sorry didn’t get her name ) all were so very helpful and friendly , really lovely staff. Darren in particular was very attentive and kept checking if there was anything we needed , Claude took time out to talk to ourselves also the lovely girl serving the drinks. A very big Thank you to all for their kindness , very much appreciated .

Group dining on a Friday night with covid table restrictions. Food was generally great, portions generous, service prompt and friendly and prices reasonable for city centre dining. Restaurant was a bit sparse and dated, almost like a big cafe, but a good evening was had by all thanks to the great staff.

Food was very good, could use more pepper sauce got a thimble pot which didn't last long. The wasn't great, cocktails were horrible had to send the first ones back got replacements and they too were bad, just suffered though that second set. Across the road in the northern wig have fantastic cocktails, they should go there and have a tasting session. Improvement needed!

I can honestly say the best Steakhouse in Belfast. The décor is industrial-smart with big windows overseeing streets. The staff is very helpful and well trained. they are not into your face asking every 5 min is everything is fine. They scan your table while serving other customers and come up to take empty dishes or ask if you would like more drinks. Staff is spot-on. The food - OMG - incredible. We came on the day that chef had only 1 kitchen staff and he pulled all dishes perfectly and on time. All the ingredients are fab. Squid was cooked to perfection (soft and yummy). Sharing platter was the same - sausages were nicely spiced, wedges awesome, garlic bread and other items on that stares place fabulous. For mains we went for 2 suft+turfs and sirloin steaks. Again, we could not find the fault. Steaks were done to medium as we asked for, fries and chips crispy and onion rings same. Deserts are out of this world. Chocolate dome, chocolate tart and churros sundae - all amazing. I would strongly recommend this place and I will definitely be back there.

Outstanding food and service from start to finish. We went on a Friday night and it was very busy. Starters were tasty. Wife loved all her cocktails. The steaks were huge and cooked perfectly. Very reasonable prices. Overall a lovely experience.

We dined here last night and thought the food was amazing. This led us to dine here again tonight although the staff are very attentive and pleasant I have to say that the food was disappointing tonight. We opted for the chargrilled salad, no explanation to the difference In the 2 prices. The salad came with what I can only describe as a heap of wilted rocket on top of half a chicken fillet and some tomatoes. It concerns me to think that your chefs can look at a plate with visably wilted food on it and think this is acceptable to serve. Certainly not worth £11.50 !! It was also very off putting to see the staff picking at food from the serving area. In a catering environment I would have thought this was bad practice from staff. On a positive as I've said already the staff are great and the environment lovely.

Went for the breakfast, good price for the unlimited breakfast. Coffee was decent, hot food and continental was delicious. They left me in peace with I really enjoyed but quick when I needed assistance. The only thing that irked me was how hot the tongs were for grabbing the hot food.

Went at lunchtime. Service was very very slow. It took almost 40 minutes from ordering until food was served. Food was delicious but not the warmest (we could see it sitting under the hotplate for a long time). Place wasn't very busy at all. We were going to order coffees but gave up waiting for staff to come near us after we had finished eating and went elsewhere for those instead.

First time here, booked for my partners birthday, first walked in and great impression , modern bar and seating area, great welcome given and shown to our table, (staff are great) once seated , got a walk through the menu which was very help full , ordered the starter , sharing platter, yumm, ribs chicken chips sausage , and flat bread, , well onto the mains, 12oz ribeye, best steak i have ever had, cooked to perfection, dessert came, chirross sunday with brownie and ice cream, soo good ! Would highly rate this place for food and service
