I had the blue cheese and Frank's hot sauce chicken burger. I liked the taste of the sauces and the chicken itself was huge. The coating on the chicken unfortunately didn't hold onto it very well so ended up a quite messy affair. We also shared some fries which had parmesan, garlic and bacon. These were quite tasty but also dry, could do with a sauce or dip to accompany. My husband said his burger was good, but could do with a sauce, the burger itself was quite compressed also. We ordered using the qr code at our table, the staff were pleasant enough, not that we spoke to them outwith getting seated and receiving our food. If your looking a quick, tasty, no nonsense lunch this is the place. I also saw a table beside us get cocktails (one and espresso martini, my fav!) which looked phenomenal, I was the designated driver for the day so it was not to be. I would try the salads next time which looked great. Also a great outside seating area with lots of picnic tables!

One of the best burgers I've EVER had. Was guided to our seats with polite staff. Given ample time to browse the menu. When we gave our order, it arrived in around 5 or 6 mins and that was during busy lunchtime. Food was immense. We had the Brisket burger and the Carnivore burger, with Cajun fries and garlic fries too. Beverages were a pint of Guinness and a coke. A range of cocktails were available too, but we didn't have time to sample them. Honestly the burger was so good. Just the right amount of bun for the filling and what a filling it was! Bacon, Pulled pork, BBQ sauce, onion ring and the fries came with coleslaw too. If you want to try somewhere for a cracking lunch, Belfast City Picnic is the place to go. Prices - Our meal and drinks cost around £30, on the menu. Attentive staff too, without being in your space, allowed us to enjoy your meal and made sure to clear up when we were finished. I'll be taking another visit to City Picnic very soon. Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Cost 4.5/5 Staff 5/5 Just try it for yourself and see for yourself! Superb!

We arrived just at 9:40pm I’m sure the chefs were secretly raging. We got greeted by a staff member who was very friendly and pleasant but unfortunately got our order mixed up on two occasions - the pizza my girlfriend ordered and the fries I requested. However, Stacy (the manager) rectified this problem immediately. She even offered another round of cocktails as goodwill while we waited. So that was a really generous offer - we took it (as it was my partner’s birthday, so nice touch for the day that was in it). The chicken burger was sooo good 🤤 and the cocktails were really nice. The strawberry daiquiri was thick just how I like it. Overall, really nice place. Great music 🎶 and atmosphere and of course - thank you Stacey. ✨when I come back to Belfast I would definitely eat here again (but come earlier) 😅 - Perhaps more napkins, mayonnaise and ketchup sachets to be implemented. Overall excellent 👌🏼

We ordered hot chocolate, they brought us milk with hints of chocolate. But the manager reacted quickly. The pizza was rich in products, but lacking in taste. The potatoes were amazing. The service was good.

Just after popping into city picnic soon after they opened today (sat 29 Jan) the two girls serving were friendly and wonderfully attentive, checking we were happy with our food and drinks along the way (we were delighted btw, if you could only taste a picture) and making sure we had everything we needed. I'm probably biased since I have always loved City Picnic and I've always had wonderful experiences dining here. It's always the first choice for me and my friends whenever we eat out in Belfast. The food is always top notch, the portions are generous and the staff are just wonderful. The atmosphere, whether dining inside or out, is perfect. Would always recommend to others!

Very good staff. I'd recommend sitting inside as the outside wasn't the cleanest but the staff apologised for that and clean it up straight away. We were looking for a place to eat in and it's not always easy as I'm gluten intolerant and I'm very sensitive to gluten. We tried out City Picnic and it was amazing! I couldn't believe how many gluten free options they had available and when we got our food, I couldn't believe that mine was gluten free, I almost couldn't tell! Very friendly service and nicely setup inside, however, we all ordered using the web service and some of the orders were not correct when they arrived. Quality of what we did recieve was good, the staff did resolve the issues but one issue took multiple attempts to resolve. Maybe it would be better to not suggest using the online ordering if it's not working too well.

A friend and I nipped in for lunch on a day trip in Belfast and the food was seriously amazing! We both got the sticky pig chip cones and they were to die for, would 100% eat again! I have Celiacs disease and was well assured that they were gluten free, and I can say that I didn't not become unwell after so they are definitely safe for those with a gluten intolerance or Celiacs disease. Although they were short staffed they really did do a fantastic job! Will definitely go again!

I ordered the Chicken Katsu Flatbread, expecting the Japanese style chicken cutlets which are covered in breadceumbs and cut into slices but it was just pieces of chicken so I was a little disappointed by the false description but it still tasted alright. Our waitress Charlize, was so nice all 3 times we came. Super friendly, quick service and the best part was she was personable, she remembered us each time which shows she cares about her level of service. Cannot recommend this place enough. Was up on a trip from Dublin last Saturday. The place was insanely busy. We thought we had a 30 minute wait but an amazing waitress Christina had us seated within ten minutes. Although this was the only time we got to deal with Christina I was so impressed at how she moved about with speed and grace. Constantly smiling and in a good mood. The food came fast and was amazing so we actually ordered more. While we were there a customer knocked a tray from a waiters hand (it was 100 percent not the waiters fault) but he took the blame and the slack from a customer on the chin.His humility and calmness in that situation was admirable. The only downfall was the cocktails. Definitely do not recommend. Tasted good but not worth the price.

This was my first time eating in City Picnic in about 2 years and have to say I was very happy with the food. The fires were dry and crispy, perfect actually. And the burger was just massive. The last time I was in it was becuase the menu is good for gluten free people so it suited my wife. Makes no difference to me, but useful if that is an issue for you. I didn't get any drinks but they have beer and cocktails and stuff. They also have half decent free wifi. Overall it is tasty and sorts out your hunger for a decent price. Will go back and would reccomend.

We came for a very late dinner, made it just before the kitchen closed and were worried we wouldn't be able to order. Charlize is an absolute star - she greeted us so kindly and gave us amazing food recommendations to help us order in time. She came and checked our orders and how we were doing a few times, letting us know about last drink orders etc and told us not to rush ourselves and take our time with our meal and drink. I would rate her service 20/5 stars if I could! She was so kind, cheery and helpful - what you expect from someone at the start of their shift, not the end. The food was amazing, will definitely be returning next time I'm in Belfast. Lost a star due to the very pushy security guard who tried to rush our eating and drinking (even though the lovely Charlize had told us to take our time), then sat on the table near us and watched us like a hawk as we finished our 1 drink.

This a What's known in Belfast as a little gem. I have been here three times now with my wife and other family members. The service is excellent with friendly staff and the food was great . Decided to try it out after the reopening as I enjoyed it greatly before the Primark fire incident. Staff lovely, attentive, and helpful. But food was average, fries were nice and fresh, but the burger was overcooked and tough. Amazing sauces though, and available to buy! Strawberry milkshake was grey, and tasted like chemicals or washing up liquid that hadn't been cleaned out of it fully? As someone who works in a busy restaurant myself, I know the standard could be better for how quiet it was during my visit. I hope to see it pick up to the standard from before the closure, but as it stands I can't see myself visiting again :(

The spicy bird fries and burger are 10/10 - I got tex mex chicken rice bowl and it had gristle in it which was the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. Highly recommend it for burgers & fries but give the chicken rice bowls a miss!

We booked a table for saturday after work as this place always seems busy though on this particular day tables were readily available. There is no table service for ordering, it's either order on the app or walk in and verbally order if you are outside. Food arrived quicker than the drink and there was very little organisation when it came to the food as we must have had at least 3 other orders set in front of us that weren't meant for us. The biggest gripe was thar mocktails are the same price as a cocktails, they are only a glass of fruit juice with the expensive part removed at the end of the day

I have enjoyed the food in this restaurant. It is a new restaurant in Belfast with friendly staff. I had a César Salad Sumo size and a 12 inches Meatalicious pizza and both were delicious. Tables are big and can accommodate big groups of people. I recommend this place as a good option for food on Belfast

Lovely American style diner where the staff are ways friendly. I would come here often and I am always greated with a smile. The food here is lovely, fast and inexpensive for what you get. The portion sizes are on the large side as well. Overall a great place to eat quickly and the location is dead handy as well.

Some mixed reviews on here, overall had a pretty decent experience. Went with the bean burger and spicy bean wrap both of which were wellmade and flavorful. Kind of disappointed that a place where I have to get my own cutlery doesn't include fries (chips) in the regular price of a meal instead having to add £1, not a deal breaker, just kind of off putting.

Have been a patron for 2 years, nearly 3 now, the staff provide amazing service and the food is absolutely outstanding. Have managed to attend some of the event nights they run and with it being a bar, it's on par with top nightclubs. Would definitely recommend going I'd you're new to Belfast or need somewhere new to try, and the prices are competitive with other city centre bars compared to others located in the cathedral quarter.

Always had good food & served in a friendly manner here. Burgers are among the best in Belfast, served with a decent portion of fries and another side of your choice. I'm also a huge fan of there strawberry milk shakes. They serve alcohol if you fancy a beer with your burger. It's easy to find being in the heart of the City centre, half way up Castle Street and always seems clean & tidy. Seating is good either inside or out if the weather is good. I'd go here several times a year and always leave happy.

Wasn’t a regular customer but every time I was in seemed everything on the menu would increase by about 20-50p .
