Service and food could have both been better. After we ordered drinks, our starters came through very quickly. It was very good and set high expectations. Overall good food, atmosphere and location.

Very cute restaurant with great food. The service was nice and the service was excellent. All the staff members were constantly smiling and we received complementary shots at the end because they had to move us from the table we were sitting in. Best choice for my birthday! We went to Kitch last night for the first time - we booked back in Nov purely because it was the first place the we tried that could take Dec booking reservations & we were speaking to a lovely girl, Sophia, who told us to check the menu & send in our options and they would have it ready for us upon arrival if we were pushed for time. We only did send in our choices on the day 🙈 We were terrible customers. We were travelling down from Randalstown & the other two in my party went shopping last minute before we left 🙄🙄 So we changed our time from 7pm to half 7 & finally 8pm..... Upon arrival we were shown to our table relatively quickly. We reminded the staff of our email order & they went to check with the kitchen to see if this was still possible & it was 👏👏 There was a slight issue as Sophia had said originally our token vegetarian could have her choice from the Christmas menu & the vegetarian menu but James responded to my email to say they could no longer facilitate the veggie menu - which was fine, she still had options but she's v fussy/indecisive. We ordered drinks & the barman was an angel, recommending gins & saving the last of the rhubarb gin for us. I ordered the breaded brie to start & I have recently had a very poor cheese stater so this was a happy turn of events, beautiful! The turkey & ham main 👌👌👌👌 Genuinely hope my Christmas dinner is as good. Then I shared the toffee pudding with one of my friends. We were all very pleased with our meals. The staff were fantastic - gentleman who I believe is the owner dressed very dapper for Christmas & was an absolute gent 👌 The waitresses were also lovely & bit of bant. One of my friends pointed out how good the staff were with kids so it's deff family friendly. Best meal I have had recently, quite reasonable, brilliant staff & lovely atmosphere. Couldn't fault it & will definitely be back. Thank you guys for a lovely night 😬😬

I really enjoyed my first time here. The brisket was amazing. I'm giving 4 stars because my wife didn't fully enjoy her meal and there was a lack of atmosphere. However, we did eat pre-theatre and the staff were very accommodating. I will be back.

Vegan review: Came here with my husband (omnivore) after a recommendation from an omnivore friend. My husband was very pleased with his food, said it was really tasty! I asked for a vegan menu, they provided a piece of paper with 3 options - risotto, kale salad without the cheese and something else without the something or other! I opted for the risotto, it was ok. I think they could expand their vegan options! Service was great, staff were lovely, the place was nice.

We ended up getting into Belfast later than expected and simply asked a local passerby where she would recommend for a good hearty meal. She pointed us in the direction of Kitch and we are so thankful she did. This restaurant was absolutely fabulous. Everything from the atmosphere, to the food to the staff, was brilliant. One of the gentlemen, James, was a lovely host and gave us some suggestions of things to do and places to go in the area. He was the finishing touch on a lovely experience! If you're in Belfast I highly recommend you make your way to Kitch for a meal you'll never forget!

This was a very nice experience. We had a family dinner and from the moment we walked in were made to feel very welcome. Our waiter was prompt, efficient and very charming, a really nice guy. Service was swift, the food was really good and the menu has sufficient choices to suit a wide range of palates. I had honey chicken as a starter and it was just delicious, obviously freshly cooked, well spiced and just perfectly sticky! My main wash the shepherd's pie and again it was really good. Served in the pot it was cooked in it stayed hot for ages and had I cooked it myself I would have been proud of it. Bill was not exorbitant so altogether a good place to eat. I will return

You always find a perfect place on your last day visiting Belfast... We were just walking around looking for a nice place to sit down and the we seen Kitch... Loved the name and said let's chance it... Words can't describe how good it was.. Starting from service and atmosphere going to perfect food.. If you are fed up with same old fast food restaurants this is a perfect place for you.. Food was absolutely delicious, we tryed all starters and had fish and chips, flat bread chicken and burger. Food is made to order and you can really taste that. Owner was amazing and you can really see he appreciates his staff and chefs. Great job guys... We recommend you highly and will be back every time we are in Belfast. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I really appreciated how there was a large vegetarian menu, but plenty of meat and fish options for those so inclined. I had the veggie orzo and it was fantastic. Fabulous city centre restaurant, reasonably priced. Excellent range of food including vegetarian options. We sampled various dishes and all of them were amazing. There's something for everyone here, but if you like interesting food that's a bit different from the norm then you'll love Kitch. Outstanding.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had a shredded lamb on flat bread starter which was mouthwatering and for my main I had the burger which was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The staff were very impressive, helpful and polite yet not overly attentive, not hovering over us every 2 minutes. I would definitely recommend getting something to eat at Kitch. I will definitely be back!

We ordered squid for starter and it was fantastic, I ordered a steak which came over cooked but the cut of meat was very good. We finished with a sticky toffee pudding which really hit the spot. I would recommend that the bathrooms are giving a tidy up and clean.

Split with this one. Food wasn't all that bad, but when they recommended the pasta they forgot to mention that it was spicy, which sucked because my husband can't eat spicy. So I ended up eating his meal instead. The food took so long to arrive that at that point I didn't want to have to wait for another dish. Kid's margarita pizza was bland, so much so that my son, who absolutely loves pizza, didn't want to finish it. Presentation of the food was nice but didn't make up for how long it took, especially when the restaurant was Moe than half empty.

I was looking forward to visiting after reading previous reviews and it did not disappoint. The early bird is amazing value and the food is out of this world with great friendly service also. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I've ever tasted. Will definitely be back soon.

Had a lovely meal here with friends after the QFT. Wasn't our first choice, but it was after 9 so we were looking for somewhere and couldn't decide. Very glad we saw Kitch and gave it a try. It was very cosy and relaxed when we arrived. The service was great. The music was a nice mix of eclectic tunes. Go!!

Very friendly staff, and whatever that roast chicken and spicy Italian sausage pasta/risotto dish I had here was GREAT. I have never had something like this before, which may speak of my ignorance in Italian cuisine, but damn, it's amazing. The Korean chicken wings and chicken goujons one of my family members had was also good. 5 stars for sure.

Been here few times after night out at the cinema lol this Is my favourite place to be food is really good the staff are lovely very professiol well greated really good service from the moment u walk in until you leave can't flut anything there is no dress code which I like you think that the kitch would expect a creation dress code for the service that they provide but no anybody can same to wonder in weather u are dressed in jeans, hoddiey lol I have been in this place few times by myself and have always been treated by calling me sir lol any other restaurant that I have been too have not provided the same the warm welcome as kitch I really hope they reopen again after lockdown I would be lost if any other restaurant didn't provide same service as kitch 🤗

Absolutely amazing food, great vegetarian options and very reasonable prices. Gin cocktails seem to be a bit of a speciality, but I didn't try any. Happy to deal with large demanding groups and nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend for a tasty vegetarian or up market burger meal. Some of the starters sound amazing and the maitre d' will upsize them for a main with no fuss!

Walked in on a quiet Thursday night. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and helped me decide on my meal with an enthusiastic rave about the shepherds pie. Well deserved too - it was absolutely delicious, though in all honesty, this could have fed two people, I didn't really get close to finishing it! Followed up with the sticky toffee pudding (sticky date for Aussies like me!) which was perfect drenched in butterscotch sauce. The cheerful and friendly staff really made the visit for me, I know it was a quiet night, but they made me feel so welcome and appreciated, also bustling around to the other tables and having some good chats without getting in the way or intruding. Lovely place which I would definitely come back to.

Fantastic food and friendly service in a casual setting. Tasty "wee bites", fine starters like mussels or prawns to begin your meal. There is a delicious variety of sliders, fish and meat dishes. Kitch has a vegetarian menu which sports some great additions to their regular menu. The deserts are equally satisfying.

Fabulous meals at Kitch. This was our second visit during our stay in Belfast. The food, service and price cannot be faulted. The tapas sharing starters were superb, the sliders, sirloin steak and brisket second to none. A visit is an absolute must.

Thursday night, 8 pm, restaurant doesn't appear busy; I count five empty tables. Seated and we wait. And wait. And that was the story of the night. Staff have no training and no experience in dealing with busy times. Took 45 minutes to get our food. Waitress said she was new and kitchen short-staffed. If that's the case, tell us diners, give us some bread, refresh our drinks, but don't let us sit there staring forlornly at the table with empty glasses. Epic fail here for bad service.
