Very nice atmosphere for a dinner date. We ordered a Vegetable Platter for starter and 2 Traditional Biryanis (vegetable and lamb). First of all, the portions were extremely generous, so generous that I had to ask for a takeaway box. There is also the option to choose the spice level according to your personal taste. The service was very efficient and the waiters were all kind and attentive.

Honestly one of the nicest places I have ever eaten from. I live in Dublin and every time I go to Belfast I have to make a stop here. I have even brought my friends and vouched for this place and they now bring their friends too. Food, staff and atmosphere unbeatable and fair play to that! I will be back many times again!
B. H.
What a gem of a place. Food was fantastic, well stocked bar. Staff very accommodating and everyone left having one of the best Indian meals they've ever had. Cant say fairer than that. I will definitely be back.
K. F.
We got a takeaway from here. The food was very nice however it is expensive especially as the main dish does not include rice. Staff were very pleasant and we didn't have to wait long. I would recommend you try eating from here.
S. O.
Friendly staff and great service. Food was absolutely delicious. The menu has so much choice. Really enjoyed our meal here. Highly recommend!
j.
Me and my friend chose the banquet menu. 2 main courses a mix of starters and sides. I thought the food was fantastic. My friend had a biriyani, which did not impress her. The banquet menu is 25pounds each. A little bit pricy. The place was very busy on the Wednesday night we were there. There's a nice atmosphere here. I wouldn't get the banquet menu again. Just choose a main and side of your choice. The banquet menu is set. I would definitely recommend nudelhi to anyone visiting Belfast.
K. B.
Lovely place to eat. Helpful staff and fantastic food served to perfection. Vhoice on menu really good and prices are okay for a city centre restaurant. Would recommend this place to anyone that likes a good quality Indian meal
S. S.
Best Indian food around the city centre👌. We went there twice in a span of 3 nights.
Rates are bit high but totally worth it. Nice Ambience, amazing service with very friendly staff, Satyam Mende and Saif from the staff members treated us greatly and took care of us really well which made this place our favorite spot to visit.
A. M.
We had a really great meal here at a very reasonable price.
C. C.
Solid menu and service, reasonably priced at £25 for a starter, main, side dish and poppadoms. Great poppadoms.
Advice: offer slightly less spicy starter options, for me they were perfect, for my mother not so much. Don't play music during peak service. The restaurant is so noisy when it is full and there are only hard surfaces, so it bounces off. You can't hear the tune of the music played and it doesn't add anything except more noise.
p. c.
Great place. Food was fantastic. Staff were very welcoming. Good prices
D. H.
Beautiful food. Lovely setting and service as well. I live in Asia and have lived in London. Hence I feel I know authentic Indian food. This is by far Belfast's best Indian restaurant. Significantly better than Mumbai 27 (a monumental letdown - bland food).
NU DELHI IS THE PLACE TO VISIT FOR DELICIOUS ASIAN CUISINE.
L. C.
This is a great Indian restaurant with delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Our curries were really tasty and the staff are friendly and efficient. Sharanya and Tanmay were particularly helpful and kind during our visit. They also have a really good selection of drinks and cocktails. I’d definitely recommend this place for great Indian food and a fun night out.
R. R. S.
Delicious authentic Indian food in the city with beautiful cocktails. Staffs were very welcoming us and friendly. Service was ultimate and extra star for ambience. Overall we enjoyed the experience.
R. J.
Great ambience , Fantastic service , Amazing food .. great recipe for good times!!
Giving 4 stars and not 5 because I am a vegetarian and would have enjoyed the place more if more veg starter options were there.
Still keep it up guys !!

Lucky to find thr restaurant so near to our stay. Excellent food and service
S. H.
Called here after a show at opera house. ... the time was 10:15 PM as we arrived and we hoped we would be taken , and if not we would try somewhere else.... On being greeted we were abruptly told the kitchen was closing at 10:30 PM and that we'd need to hurry with our order. As this was our first chance since breakfast for food due to our own work commitments on Saturday and although feeling a bit uncomfortable with how we were greeted we agreed and 'very ' quickly gave our order . The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the floor staff are very friendly and polite , in fact I've never seen as many staff in any restaurant ever, so service isn't an issue. The food was excellent , and the price is what you'd expect for central belfast, though '£7' for a glass of Rose' wine is just not good !! Finally having the rubbish trolley pulled past us through the restaurant full of rubbish bags was not expected . This and the way we were greeted wasn't the best end to our Saturday...but not the worst either !.. we'll get over it ..lol
J. D.
Best Indian food I've ever had ordered lamb chops as a starter and when the main came I ordered another portion they were that good! Tika masala was bang on chicken soft enough cut with spoon. Mint very attentive staff but not mitherers! I'd give it an 11/10 easy
A. K.
I am originally from New Delhi and hsve lived in Belfast over 2 decades, I am very well travelled and am a bit of a foodie critic, ordered first time from Nu Delhi having tried almost every Indian restaurant in and around Belfast, and simply WoW!!
Not only the food was tasty and reminded of my birth place but the extra mile the packing staff went in adding poppadoms and chutneys to the order is which deserves true appreciation. And these small gestures win brand loyalty, so well done, I would be pleased to recommend Nu Delhi to anyone without any hesitation, Thank you again! 🙏
O. V.
One of the best, if not the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been. Food quality, atmosphere and GREAT SERVICE.
S. N.
Very pleasant atmosphere and the staff here are excellent. Good Indian food without losing the Indian flavour. The Boti kebab that I ordered was delicious.
S. M.
The best Indian meal I've ever had, staff very friendly particularly Devanshi who took time out to take my child a walk around the place while we had a meal
C. L.
Top class Indian food in Belfast.
The menu has so much choice of dishes you won't be disappointed. Service is super quick and efficient. Location is central and convenient to bars/nightlife. Highly recommended.
S. G.
Honestly hands down best indian food I have ever eaten. The staff here are so attentive and the atmosphere in the restaurant is brilliant, great music, gorgeous decor 10/10
L. C.
This was our first attempt at Indian cuisine and we weren't disappointed. You got to choose from a lot of dishes on the menu and you can also check their level of spiciness. Take a table outside on the terrace, enjoy your meal and end it with a glass of sambuca.
J. G.
Excellent service, beautiful food, lots of gluten free choices and the wine list and cocktails are extensive that's the starter, I lost myself after that 😀
T. S.
Good food, drinks and atmosphere. Went monday evening, seemed to be fully booked, best to prebook your place.
G. C.
We are visiting Belfast from Glasgow and have just been to the NU Delhi restaurant absolutely amazing food, service and price. We will be back the next time we are over. Superb all round Graham
T. M.
A very enjoyable meal, very tasty, plenty of food. The only but was that we had to chase our main meal as people that had come in after us were getting their food before us.
M. M.
Ok I am a massive fan of Indian food and the Nu Delhi did not disappoint on my first visit, the restaurant is lovely and the screens put in place for covid actually make you feel like you have your own personal space and didn't feel closed in. The staff were very lovely and very attentive and the food was definitely Spot on I hardly spoke through the meal I enjoyed it so much 😊 and the complementary sambucas after went down a treat. Definitely will be back
D. J.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere
N. W.
I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. Atmosphere brilliant tandoori lamb chops sensational. With the added cabaret benefit of watching some drunk fella trying to get out without paying 😄
G. E.
Absolutely amazing. So tasty, menu is really well laid out with spice ratings & possible customisations. Such a beautiful restaurant & definitely worth going to!!
M.
Not much to say really other than the fact this may just be the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Food 10/10 Si (our waitor) 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Cleanliness/Decor 10/10. Cant speak higher about them definitely worth the visit!
J. M.
Exquisite food and ambient atmosphere, superb service and reasonably priced!
D. T.
Amazing service and delicious food. And the bathroom is excellent as well ;)
If you come to Belfast and like Indian food give it a try, totally recommended
D. E.
Great food and very attentive service, it's a definite go to place for good food and a fantastic atmosphere, even on a Monday night at 6pm it was packed, that says a lot for the quality of the food., people will keep coming g back
M. T.
Fantastic restaurant, new address a few metres from old one and very fashionable surroundings. As a vegan I was extremely happy that this restaurant could cater for me. I had a beautiful Dahl curry and some starters. All I can say is that you wont be disappointed, service was excellent. The building is loft style very fashionable and trendy while having a traditional Indian cuisine. All freshly made and very affordable.
P. K.
Absolutely top notch grub, staff as ever fabulous
R.
They cater to food intolerances. They even made gluten, diary and nut free Biriyani. The spice level was as described. The mild was mild and not like the usual Indian restaurant were the mild is too spicy. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was really tasty. Portion size was adequate.
N. B.
Fantastic food and service particularly from Shiva. Recommended for a good night with good food and wine.
H. S.
Good food, great cocktails and customer service :)
A. S.
One of the best indian foods i had.
Thickness, hotness, ingredients, taste, everything was on the spot!
N. C.
Fantastic! absolutely great food and pretty good service. Great value for the money.
J. W.
Could cut the lamb with a spoon it was cooked that well (and quick!). Madras chips were fantastic and a first for us. Gorgeous garlic naan. Fantastic value for money, plentiful portions!
D. C.
Amazing value for money and you will not go hungry. Friendly staff and great location.
C. M.
Great food and cocktail selection, friendly staff and quick service
S. D.
Got a New Year's Eve delivery. It was exactly as promised and on time. Food delicious as usual. Well done guys and I look forward to a full sit in experience in 2022!
P. M.
Good service and great food, my favourite Indian Restaurant to date …
O. J.
Woooo doggy what a yummy paneer massala. Mm filled me right up. Would recommend
K. K.
A group of us ate here before and had a gorgeous evening with great food and excellent service, the reason we came back. Last night one of our group became ill and I can honestly say the service and attention of all the staff was excellent. Nothing was to much for them to do. We were looked after really well by the manager and his staff. We already rated Nu Delhi very highly re their food and service, but their professionalism during our friends episode exceeded all expectations. Well done and thank you for your help. We will definitely be back anytime we are in Belfast.
D. L.
In all honesty, probably best curry I have ever had. Really sublime, which is worth the price (and it is quite expensive) but the price of poppadoms etc just too much and bit of a joke to be honest. Also, beer was far too expensive. Great service though and I would definitely go back.
C.
If I could give more stars, I would in a heartbeat! What a wonderful evening I had in this restaurant, the service and food was just absolutely excellent. My sincerest thanks to our server Abhi and our bartender Shiva, they definitely made our night superb! Truly wonderful staff. I cannot wait to come back and meet them again.
A. E.
We had dinner here for our daughters 12th birthday. The staff were so friendly and happy to answer any questions we had as we have some dietary needs in our family. The food was outstanding. 2nd to none. Whilst chatting we had mentioned it was our daughters birthday and 5 mins later the lights went out and they all sang Happy Birthday and brought out a complimentary cake for our whole table. So generous. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend! 💯
E. R.
Fantastic food!
Delicious drinks!
Was a great experience to eat here, food was perfect and the staff was friendly and inviting. Felt so relaxed and enjoyed the evening fully.
R. T.
Vegetarian and gluten free options are excellent. Would of given higher rating, only the service was a little disorganized. We we asked if we wanted to order drinks every five minutes and it seemed as if the waiters are not properly communicating with each other. The food and quality is really excellent, service maybe needs to be less pushy.
S.
Been here a few times when I visited the city. The food is excellent and friendly service! Although the rice portion was a bit small. When requested, they were able to make the rice portion a better size. So providing the larger rice portions are accommodated, I'll keep coming back 😅👌
E. C.
The staff here are fantastic, attentive, professional, friendly, polite. They made the experience. The food is fantastic, feels homemade. Their nature's delights section is huge, great for veggies. Definitely give the Long Island a try.
b. t.
Food was amazing, service poor.
Had to ask three times for water
Waited long time between starter and main then waiter told us we didn’t order bread or rice which he had! This further delayed bringing our mains.
Then brought wrong main course so had to wait for them to change.
No one even asked as we were eating or when asked for the bill, how everything was.
Staff should spend less time talking through their headsets to each other and listen to the customer!
S.
Nu Delhi has some of the nicest Indian food I have eaten.
Service is quick and polite. The menu is wide ranging and you'll find something for the "heat chasers" and something for the milder pallette.
R. M.
Great night spent at Nu Delhi, amazing food and fantastic service. I would highly recommend. Tanmay and Sharayu were very attentive and friendly throughout the night! 😀
R. S.
Great place.. One of the best Indian food in Belfast I would say. Great ambience and the staff is very friendly. Must visit place if you are craving for something Authentic Indian.
R. C.
Very attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere. We sat outside which was lovely. There were heaters so we felt cosy and warm! Food was delicious. I got a madras and it was hotter than others I've had. Typical priced for Indian food. Would recommend. ❤️
E. C.
I didn't have time to take pictures of the food, was too delicious. Real authentic Indian taste. Quality in ome word. Pay a visit, either for a sit in or take away, won't disappoint you. 👌 I wonder how they brought the real ricsa here?! 🤔
J. B.
Nice food, but very rushed. We were in and out within an hour and not in a good way
A. k.
The best Indian food I have tasted , when I return to Belfast I will visit again
A. M.
The best Indian restaurant about. Everything first class, staff are excellent
L. M.
This is literally out of this world, best Indian food I have ever had. Excellent service even during busy time. The food is amazing and tastes absolutely delicious, cannot recommend enough. Good quality for the money for sure
L. L.
Very quick service & friendly staff! Good taste & fresh food!
K. L.
the price was a bit high as compared to the food. if you look at the food individually then it was pretty tasty, i must say, although not to that price point. but i’d highly recommend this place
C. W.
Very professional staff, very friendly, all covid compliant, food 100% I highly recommend a visit.
E. H.
Best Indian in Belfast for years. Even better since they moved to their new location.
A. W.
Amazing food and such friendly staff!!! Great choice of tasty drinks and the atmosphere to go along💯
E. S.
Great food for good price. Service was inconsistent.
F. M.
The most delicious lamb chops I have ever eaten in my life!!!
M. M.
It is second time now I visited this restaurant. The food was really nice. I had a seabass , lovely spice to it without overpowering. Great service too
D. B.
Mercifully close to the Holiday Inn. I was offered prompt service by Abhi amongst others. Fab food and buzzing with life the Saturday I was there. Perfectly rounded off my Belfast trip.
P. S.
Food was exceptional. Staff were attentive and service was great. Really recommend this place.
Definitely make a booking to not miss out.
K. S.
Very good service. Decent selection of cocktails. Very friendly staff. Food is very good. Thought I was disappointed a bit by the dryness of the starters, but when the main course was served, I was pleasantly surprised. The dal makhani and Karachi paneer were authentic and the naan was soft. If you’re looking for good Indian fare in Belfast, Nu Delhi has to be on your agenda.
Z. S.
We were in Belfast for all of two nights and came to Nu Delhi for Dinner twice, which should tell you just how much we loved this gem of a place. Each night the restaurant was absolutely packed but the service was impeccable and super friendly. Priya and Avi were amazing and really attentive and made sure our experience was perfect. Great with both suggestions and conversation.
The food itself is delicious and as an Indian I can guarantee that this was highly authentic and absolutely yummy food. The dal makhni and the desi masala chicken are must-haves!
S. A.
Food was good.lovely staff...my meal was too spicy for me but actually the witer brought it back to the kitchen and made it less spicy...very nice from him appreciated. The main dishes don't come with Nan or rise so you have to pay extra for those. It is a bit pricy especially you have to pay for every thing including the crackers and the dips 😒 ...
A. S.
One of the best curries I've had. Ended up booking after reading the trip advisor reviews. The service and food was amazing. If you are in Belfast and looking for a curry make sure you go here
D. M.
I couldn't recommend this place high enough. We arrived and were seated straight away. We had drinks brought to the table straight away. Food ordered, no messing, the service was first class. Now the food... my goodness.. I have eaten in a few Indian restaurants in my time but this was exceptional. I got the chicken Banjara to start. I've never tasted anything like it! The jalfrezi was first class. Even the naan was awesome. Visit the place if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed!
I was shocked at the price and left a 30% tip! Cant wait to go again!
C. D.
Outstanding food and service!! Well worth the money!! Can't wait to go again!! Our waiter was Hasib, he was excellent, very friendly and professional
T. H.
Fabulous Indian food, great staff and an excellent menu. Loved it!
P. S.
Absolutely fantastic meal with superb service! Would like to say a massive thank you to our waiter Abhi and our bartender, would highly recommend the baileys white russian.
G. Q.
Excellent food but was waiting over an hour for same. It was a bit annoying having staff constantly asking if you wanted another drink. Mix up with order in that 3 dishes were brought instead of 2.
J. W.
Best Indian restaurant we have visited in Northern Ireland. Thanks to Stephen adair
D. F.
Food absolutely fantastic delicious and amazing a little expensive but still worth it
D.
Very fast friendly service even with a large crowd, food was 10/10. Could have been slightly spicier but my fault for not ordering a hotter dish. Would definitely recommend
S. B.
I liked the restaurant ambience. There were variety of choices for veg and non veg dishes. We loved the taste of the Chicken Balti and Jalfrazi. Staff was friendly. Overall good experience.
N. O. R.
Boogie spot great food and staff are amazing . Went with friends last night . Great atmosphere best time ever in Belfast. Will definitely be back
A. V.
One of the best Indian in Belfast. Great service and great food. Loved the desi chicken masala and naan. They had really good cocktails as well. Those who love mango should try their Mango daiquiri. Accommodated me in a short notice during the COVID restrictions. Would totally recommend this to people looking for a good Indian restaurant in Belfast. Great service especially by Sharanya, Manasa, Shiva and Hema.
N. M.
Lovely staff and the meal was delicious!
R. M.
Great food and service. Nice atmosphere. I definitely recommend. If you prefer things on the quieter side you may want to book earlier in the evening.
E. A. B.
Great! Delicious food and great service.
K. W.
We loved the food here. Service was great, very attentive.
A little noisy, but enjoyable depending on your occasion.
S. T.
Highly recommend. Great food...really tasty. Had the set menu which was great value for money. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Cocktails fab...this place has a modern trendy vibe with fabulous food. Will be back.
G. M.
Food is amazing and taste matches what you actually get in a good restaurant in India. The food was hot which I actually liked. You can let the waiter know hot or spicy you want your food to be. Do try the chocolate fudge cake in dessert and also the wonderful starters. If they really like you then they will give you complimentary tequila shots which my friends got.
D. O.
Food was delicious and our waiter Mostafa was a gent. Will definitely return when we are in Belfast
A.
Fantastic night enjoying great food & cocktails.
J. M.
Top class food, went with family, 2adults, 3kids under 12. Food was amazing, lovely atmosphere in restaurant, excellent service, could of stayed there all night drinking Cobra draught beer but had to get the kids back to the hotel as we had to be up early for the Let's Go Hydro Park. Shout out to Hasib who was very friendly and gave us some fantastic recommendations from the food menu 👌
v. h.
As far as the food is concerned , its great. But the service was not up to the mark, it felt very chaotic because almost everytime there was a new person coming to ask and take the orders. Cocktails are alright but not too great. I would have given 5 stars if the service was better but otherwise the food is 5/5.
M. F.
Have eaten here on numerous occasions and food is excellent but unfortunately on Friday night place was packed and staff were rushing people from there tables which sort of ruins the experience. Food was excellent
a. e.
Good Good feed, a bit pricey tho, suppose you pay this in a city venue
X. M.
Very good food and the staff very friendly 100% recommended
D. A.
Booked a table here for 2. Wow, the food was the best Indian I have had in a long time, the staff are all so friendly & efficient. We got a table outside & it was absolutely beautiful. Mark the PR guy made us feel so welcome & Ved the waiter was absolutely brilliant. Definitely worth a visit, 100%.
A. M. M.
An excellent night out during a trip to Belfast. Fantastic food and excellent service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
B. H.
Wonderful. Went with work. Really friendly staff. It was half an hour before our order was taken and another 50 minutes before it came. Despite that it was worth the wait. Excellent food - I had the chicken curry (mildest on menu) and it was pretty spicy. Very good - also does sweeter dishes like Korma. Pretty reasonably priced and a great location. What more could you want? It was my first ever Indian and I absolutely loved it!
L. J.
We came from Dublin , Food was amazing 10/10, would definitely come again, come with a friend, if your pengg
Staff was nice and friendly, atmosphere was great
L. M.
Amazing food. Portions for takeaway huge.
Cocktails even better
L. W.
My friends and I had an excellent meal on our last night in Belfast.
E. V.
This restaurant is just in the middle of Belfast. Service is awesome, very fast and attentive.
Food is delicious and the portions are northern Ireland size (farmer's portions).
We love it.
F. R.
This place is first class. Ftiendly helpful staff and the best Indian food you can get in Belfast
C. M.
Delicious Indian food and the menu has a lot more choice of dishes than other local Indian restaurants. They offer dishes which are not available in other restaurants in Belfast. I have found a new favourite which only Nu Delhi offer, I have not seen it on the menu in other Indian restaurants. Also a good range of cocktails and drinks. Service is quick. Location is central and convenient to bars and cinema.
c. s.
Awesome ambience from entrance to the top. Good quality food with top notch service. Cocktails are yummy as their food & chefs are skilled to cater for any taste. Thanks
d.
Ordered a take away on an app for dinner. Food was delicious, fresh ingredients. We ordered the Chicken Chilli Garlic and it was our favourite bit.
J. M.
Beautiful restaurant, the interior is lovely and modern. Food is excellent, a little bit fancier than your average Indian restaurant but still has all the favourites. I had the tandoori seabass and it was delicious.
s. r.
My starter very oily but replaced and very nice, main lovely and very tastey, sides brilliant, service good
T. N.
Great place! Really friendly staff! Amazing food and atmosphere
G. H.
This is one of the best curries in a long time. The curry was fresh and tasty, well spiced. I had the chicken chilli garlic and a side of dal tadka. I found the Dahl good but lacking jeera and garlic but that's my preference. The service was really excellent and we were shielded against the table beside us. Sadly we weren't when a table of 8 was seated to our other side without screens.
I haven't given it 5 stars because of the price and portion size. The naans are small, almost flatbread thin and the rice was also quite small. My wife had the jalfrezi which again was very tasty and we shared a portion of rice and naan as we would normally. When they arrived we ordered another portion of rice and naan.
The portion of rice is a single portion and maybe because I'm used to larger naans and a larger portion of rice I felt a bit hard done by however, 5* food quality and I would definitely recommend the restaurant. I am looking forward to going back to try more of the menu but I might start with a larger starter rather than some poppadoms.
If I'm also being totally honest, the chutney selection comes straight from the fridge. I don't mind the contents being cold, onion chutney, mango chutney etc but for some reason, I don't like the idea that the glass jar was also in the fridge. It makes me think if they had been pre-portioned, how long have they been in the fridge. The turnover is pretty high and so I'd like to think not too long but I can't imagine the jars are kept in the fridge and then filled upon serving. That's me being picky and really doesn't detract from what is excellent food and I can't wait to return for some more.
A. A.
Great food and service was excellent! Highly recommend and will be back again!
J. P.
Great Indian restaurant on hope Street Belfast friendly staff really enjoyed the food highly recommended
S. B.
Great food in Belfast! Each of us ordered from the banquet menu and for what we received it was exceptional value! We tried the Chicken tiki masala, chicken curry, and the sea bass main dishes. Excellent preparation and great service. I can’t recommend this place more.
L.
Second visit two separate trips from this American. Gracious hosts, fabulous service and some of the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had. Had the tandoori sampler first visit and lamb chops second. Generous menu with something for everyone. I will be back again!
D. R.
Some of the best Indian food we've had in a long time! Would 100% recommend.. great drink selection and also great food selection! The monk fish starter is top class 😁
M. A.
Average food, small portions and service not too great.
I ordered a strawberry mojito that was made from Malibu rum; a first that I don't want to try again.
It was handy for us to visit, as we were staying in the Holiday Inn across the road.
N. H.
Staff and food amazing. Book in advance.
J. S.
Decor is nice....food not so Indian.....I enjoyed starters a lot but the chicken tikka masala was too much sweet....
d. c.
Great restaurant, staff are great and food is excellent
S.
Visiting from Liverpool, and stumbled upon this restaurant. Absolutely brilliant, cannot fault the food or service. A little wait when we first arrived yet I put that down to that we didn't have a reservation. My partner is vegetarian and was happy with the choice of vegetarian dishes that was available.
This restaurant is value for money, something of which is a rarity in Belfast.
R. O.
Great food. Great service. Very authentic. Cocktails are best in the city. One of best Indians in belfast. Take away is delicious too.
V. P.
Beautiful decor inside with a nice balcony and large back room for groups. Our server Jav was awesome. He made our meal a lot of fun. Food was great but pricey and the portions were small.
R. W.
Perhaps the best Indian in Belfast! I love the atmosphere the food the drinks and the staff. It’s hard to think of any thing bad about this place. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food and service. I’ve been here 3-4 times and never been disappointed.
P. K.
Food was okay, drink was nice
But pretty expensive
K. G.
Me and my boyfriend went to Nu Delhi last night for dinner and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially our waiter Abbas. He was very polite and we did not have a long wait for our food even though the restaurant was busy. The food and atmosphere were both incredible and we will definitely come back soon!
M. H.
Great restaurant, best in Belfast! Received a very warm welcome on arrival and was presented with a fantastic array of authentic Indian cuisine. I would highly recommend and will definitely return to eat here again.
N. N.
Food was brilliant. Best Indian we've had for ages. Service was excellent. Highly highly recommend!
T. R.
Great Indian food in a surprisingly nice looking place. Rated as one of the top restaurants on TripAdvisor, we expected some good food and we weren't let down. Generous portions of delicious food made us go back to our hotel satisfied and food pregnant. Nice service and a great live performance by a talented young lady. For Indian food, prices are a bit high, but would come back when visiting Belfast again
a. g.
Absolutley wonderfull. Beatifull food, great service, lovley atmosphere and an incredible cocktail barman. What more do you want
J.
Decent enough curry and service was good, however a bit expensive for what you actually get. Tasted better at half the price.
P. C.
Excellent takeaway, beautiful food, maybe some more fish pieces in the Goan chowder, otherwise wonderful. Thank you
C.
Unbelievably good food. Fantastic service. Brilliant cocktails.
This is easily the best Indian I've had in NI and possibly the world. And i have eaten far and wide.
Be wary, although delicious, the madras is not for the faint of heart.
L. C.
Great food & a reasonable price. Ordered for a take away, but the place was good. Courteous staff. Enjoyed a spicy Indian food after a long time. Jeera rice & Dal after so long. :) it took some time for the food to be ready (may be as it was a Sunday evening) but worth the wait.
p. R.
One of the best restaurants I was ever in.Some atmosphere, and the food was terrific.Would highly recommend this place.
P. K.
For Belfast this is probably one of the best curry houses, it was our first visit on Saturday. Food was very nice - my only gripe is the price..
Its an avg of £15 per curry dish. I live in London and you would only pay this type of price in high end fine dinning places. i have eaten in a LOT of curry houses in London, an avg of £8-£11 per dish would depict in my opinion a very good curry.. so to see these prices i nearly fainted. but again food was good, so it is one of the nicest curry houses in Belfast.

What a lovely experience had at Nu Deli with the lovely Mostafa. The food was unreal and the staff were so welcoming, service was just amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more. I’ll definitely be back. Also the balcony is just fab. What a class city setting to enjoy a wee vino. 👌👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️

Spotted the Nu Delhi on a previous trip to Belfast and decided to go the next time we were in the city. I eat quite a lot of Indian food and was not disappointed, great service from the moment we walked in, there was plenty of staff that were all very attentive. The food is a cut above what I've had in any other Indian restaurant or takeaway. We ordered from the Christmas set dinner menu but we were offered the full menu which in other restaurants isn't always an option during the busy season and this place had 300bookings the night we were in. The masala squid was beautifully spiced, soft well cooked squid in a crisp batter. The mixed platter (meat) had a great variety of flavours between each element the highlight me probably being the succulent piece of tandoori chicken. The mains we had were Chicken chilli garlic with Jeera rice and Chicken Khurchan with pilau rice, the Khurchan was hotter than the chilli garlic, both dishes were worth a 5 star review. The chilli garlic chicken had a butteryness too it and a well balanced level of garlic and spice, along side the Khurchan chicken with its heat and rich gravy we were both well impressed. We had fun sampling the cocktail menu with the spiced nu Delhi with its creamy cinnamon flavour definitely putting us in the festive mood. Ved one of the waiters on the night and the rest of your team should be proud of the establishment you have. I hope to return soon with some friends and family.

Food was absolutely delicious. Only downside was the super loud pop music.. it was a bit random. If the music was a bit more ambient or jazzy, it would totally change the atmosphere for the better. Would definitely go back there though
L. H.
Lovely place, spotless clean, food was amazing & staff so pleasant. We didnt have a booking but they found us a table despite being very busy. Would highly recommend
M. S.
Best Indian I've had in ages. Great staff, great meal! Recommended.
B. H.
Delicious food, even better service. We had a lovely waitress called Natasha who was just charming. The attention to detail really has made this one of, if not the best restaurant experience I've ever had. 100 stars if I could!
E. K.
After having 100s of Indian meals from100s of Indian restaurants across the UK I have finally found the finest of them all.
The food is 12/10 the service is 12/10 and the food is 12/10!!
Literally the finest Indian I've had in my life and at 47 I've had a lot of Indian.
G. M.
Definitely recommend. Long Island ice beach. 👍🏻👍🏻
B. S.
Great place well looked after by staff food is outstanding well worth a visit

I have eaten here several times whilst in Belfast. Food, staff, atmosphere, and all other aspects of the restaurant are fantastic. The food is particularly good. I would recommend this highly if you love Indian food.
S. S.
Beautiful decor, mouth watering food, very clean toilets and excellent staff. The restaurant has just recently moved to the new location which occupies corner of Bruce street and Great Victoria Street, with entrance facing Bruce Street. This information was not very clear on the old address a few yards away which stated that they have moved 100 yards to left (to their right, OUR LEFT when we were looking at the board) without indicating that it was the corner but entrance was no more on Victoria Street. Simply we missed the entrance and spent 20 min in roaming in town, only finding about location after calling the restaurant. They are perched on top of Ginger Bistro.
All our struggle paid off well in form of delicious spicy Tandoori chicken! Very pleased.
S. C.
Stunning place, beautiful atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive.
S. M.
Great food and had a good selection of gluten free options.
d. l.
If you like Indian food you must try this place. Fabulous and authentic cuisine. The service was prompt and professional. We'll be going back
J. C.
Delicious meal. The naan bread, in particular, was beautifully made - melted in the mouth. The butter chicken and the chicken curry with mango (forgot the actual name) were very good.
Do not get very good Indian restaurants in the USA so this was a very nice change. Best Indian meal I have eaten in a while, be it in North America or Great Britain for quite a while!
R. B.
Unbelievable! A must if you are in the area and a fan of Indian cuisine! First choice while in Belfast!
I. D.
A truly excellent meal, every course was immaculately prepared, with real thought on both flavour and presentation. We were well looked after throughout. Highly recommended!
M. G.
A nice cosy place to spend an evening with family and friends. You do get drinks as well. Food is good. You have options of choosing side curry if you think the full bowl is too much to consume. Enjoy the evening there.
T.
The quality of food is nice and the service is also very good. Loved the ambience..
K. M.
Food was so beautiful, great atmosphere took a while to take our order however it was very busy as it was the first day of 50% off all food.
J. W.
I've been here several times over past few years and the food is fantastic, the staff are usually very friendly and very helpful too. Booked very early (around5ish)one evening and was dissapointed on arrival, the restaurant had one other couple at a very small table, when seated we were placed right beside them in a equally squashed table, trying not to listen to each others conversation as there was no music or atmosphere in the restaurant (bearing in mind it's a fairly large place, and the 4 of us were the only customers). It was freezing too!! Our service wasn't great either, though when more members of staff arrived it got as good as I remembered. Food was still amazing!! While this experience has put me going back for now, I know how good this place can be.
H. M.
Nu Delhi is a great Indian Restaurant just at the perfect location. You will find it packed in the evening because it is so popular with the locals as well as Indians in Belfast. Do go for their Kadhai Paneer as they can give you the spicy level you were craving for. Their bread section is best and they are way better than what is being served in India. Ambience is also very cosy. The manager looks after each guest personally hence a great service.

My girlfriend and I called in last night (the 14th) for our Valentines booking. I had read decent reviews so was looking forward to it. The restaurant itself is nicely laid out, no one was on top of each other which was good. I hate restaurants that expect you to eat close enough to the next table to the point you can taste their food. Anyway, got in, took a while to actually get seated. Their walkie-talkies didn’t seem to be working. Didn’t really bother be. They had a decent set menu on for valentines so we went with that. Poppadoms were lovely, the starter platter was also really good. Mains came as planned and were also pretty good. Korma and tikka masala with a couple of naans. The only gripe with the food was that both mains were slightly cool. The chicken in them was piping hot but the sauce was lukewarm. No big deal. The only big issue I had with the place was the service, it’s was incredibly slow. I had to ask a waiter for my drink order when we got in because the guy seating us didn’t take it. That’s normal restaurant etiquette I would have thought. I’ll give them he benefit of the doubt though as it was valentines night and somewhat busy. Will try again, perhaps on a quieter night.
E. H.
Service was so quick. With their headsets you had no delay with your orders. Food was amazing and went down so easy. Definitely one of the best in Belfast.
L. O.
Busy and vibrant atmosphere. The food is really good, definitely would recommend!
E. T.
Indian food is my favorite cuisine and this was as good or better than anything I have ever had. Plus the staff is wonderful and a pint of Kingfisher is only 4.5 pounds. I highly recommend Nu Delhi!
S. N.
At a glance, the restaurant looks closed already. But when you enter, you'll see that the main dining area is on the second floor. This is the best indian restaurant in the area to go to if you're looking for authentic indian cuisine. Food and service is excellent. Reasonably priced. It won't disappoint.
P. S.
Great Tandoori platter, keema rice was under-seasoned but nice enough. A bit pricey, but it is central Belfast. Very attentive staff.
R. S.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, great service, well worth a visit!
M. G.
Great night, food was so yummy. Fab service from Si, Hasib and Nishat. Get down there !
C. J.
food was absolutely tip top. been to a few Indian restaurants before however this was probably one of the best. staff were very friendly and attentive.
only thing I would say, when they say it's hot! it's hot!
A. B.
Both the staff and the food were amazing! Unreal atmosphere
G. M. (.
We have had a fabulous family meal, all the food was amazing and the service was fab!
Our children loved their meals and the adults adored theirs. A beautiful meal and service all round
M. Q.
Top class serivce, shout out; Sharayu, Tanmay and Hema.
Starters were laughably small hence the - 1 star.
Thank you!
T. A.
The food was delicious, the staff were amazing, the restaurant itself looked stunning and the price was just right would definitely recommend
s. b.
Best Indian food in Belfast
j. a.
Went for an anniversary meal. First visit and very impressed. The food was delicious and customer service was excellent. Will def be back again!
S. H.
Dispite a few simple mishaps due to language barriers the service was excelent and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this wee gem. My mother got the Korma.. i wish i had :) although the chicken punjabi masala was scrumptious 😃
D. T.
Expensive but good food
P. P.
Only one other Indian in northern Ireland compares! Wide range of dishes and drinks! Would certainly recommend for city centre dinner!
M. D.
One of the best restaurant in Belfast. Nice ambiance with authentic touch in Indian food. I love the range of cocktail. Definitely going again.
C. W.
Friendly staff, good food
S. B.
We have just had the most delicious meal at nu delhi....the food was amazing...real india. .we had a lovely waiter his name was vivek..very attentive not intrusive...will be back...the surroundings were warm and inviting...cosy and warm....only lovely...there was just one very small negative...we had naan bread which was delicious..but i dont think garlic oil should be on indian naan bread...just a thought...siobhan
R. E.
Great place to eat, tasty food. The manager Naz was very professional in dealing with a minor issue. Highly recommend.
R. C.
Absolutely delicious, friendly, buzzing, with great service. My Lamb Achari was a tiny bit too salty for me but fortunately came with a bottle of water. I'll be back!
S. S.
We were looking for authentic Indian Vegetarian food when we visited Belfast in the beginning of June this year. We visited Nu Delhi and we were delighted by the excellent quality of food! Superb taste!
J. M.
Absolutely phenomenal food! Fantastic service from Ved and the rest of the team. Can't recommend Nu Delhi enough! Thank you!
S. L. S.
This place holy cow....so good they have drinks selection that most Indian places don't have. We ordered monk fish and chicken starters...amazing mains lamb chair and butter chicken heaven...will be back soon guys.
K. P.
Very good on our first visit, food tastes great, got two items on our order wrong on the second and instead of getting the desert we asked for with chocolate shavings and the like, we just got shop bought chocolate cake with a dollop of ice cream on the side.. I would go when it's quiet because they seem to struggle with a full house, not sure if I'll go back to be honest as in fairness the food tastes great, when it's the stuff you've ordered.
B. S.
Great restaurant with great Indian food. The staff is quite sharp and very courteous.
Expect to pay around £ 60 for two persons. Including a starter, main and some drinks.
Y. L.
Service was terrible. It took 30 minutes for food to arrive, over 15 minutes just to get a glass of water after sitting down. When I was done eating, they cleared the plates right away but it took 20 minutes and multiple requests to get the check and pay even though there were people waiting to be seated. In the end it was so frustrating that I would not return even though the food was good.
K. “.
Looks well after just opening, 50% less seating in restaurant; on the night I didn't enjoy my meal as much as previously. I will be back and would recommend.
c. C.
Pretty nice, good atmosphere nice staff and really nice well presented food 😋
S. P.
Absolutely fab food and great service. Great atmosphere too.
A. M.
The wife and I split two meals and filled us up right good! Tikka masala was radical, paneer butter masala was super good, naan best in town, and rice was spot on. We will be back!! Also Aaron was serving us and was really great, very funny hahaha thanks Aaron.
K. V. L.
Such a lovely restaurant. Very nice people serving us. Incredibly good spicey food. Best Indian restaurant I have eaten so far in my life. Fresh curries :-)
G. C.
The place is beautiful, the wine was very good too, the staff is very friendly . However even the "mild" labelled dishes were too spicy and the bread wasnt included in the dishes which i think it should considering the prices
s. a.
Food was okay- not the best or worse. Venue is good and service was also good staff was nice and friendly but for the price expected better!
M. L.

I'm not a big Indian food fan but gave it a try with some friends. I was really surprised as the food was absolutely fabulous. I will definitely be back.
m. 2.
Nice new venue but service lacking. Had to ask for menus after which we were given a set Xmas menu (on December the 7th) and no other menu. We had to ask for the normal menu which was provided unwillingly after an initial refusal. The service was at times slow.
B. R.
One of the best Indian meals we've had. Great service too.
