J.Best Fish and Chips in Northern Ireland. Classic spot although quite small. Check the times before you go as they close after lunch and reopen again for dinner. The pastie (deep friend meat pie) was a nice surprise too.

It looks the same and the quality is the best whatever you order. Fish is in a lovely golden batter and the chips are as the German Captain said he wanted in Dads Army " crisp und light brown."

Good craic with older patrons who have been coming to the same chip shop for 60 years or more. Food is great and William knows how to fry a mean fish. No sunflower oil here my friends, food is cooked in traditional way and wrapped in yesterday’s newspapers.
