This place does really nice burgers and skinny fries. The veggie options in the burger are great as well and recommended. They do a deal on the beers and also ticket to films at Omniplex nearby. Recommended place if you're in Dundonald ice bowl.

This place was nothing close to what we had in mind when we booked a lunch table one rainy afternoon. It was absolutely amazing, everything, from the service, the staff and the foods, yumm.. the foods were gorgeous. My favourite was the ribs, woww. If you are into ribs, you won't be disappointed here, you just know you are up for a real treat. Can't recommend it highly enough. Just a nice and lovely place with very clean toilets and child friendly too which is important to families

Very busy for a Thursday which was a good sign but possibly because the new Top Gun Movie. Seated after short wait and orders taken quickly. Good selection and ribs went down the best of our choices. Three of us with couple of cocktails thrown in which made it a little on the costly side I thought. For nearly £100 i felt we were in and out a bit quickly. For food though was very good. Staff were also very calm even when they were under pressure for a bit.

Fantastic restaurant, lovely food, great prices. Loses a star as the service is a bit off when we went. We were served immediately as we sat down for drinks order(literally we just got our jackets off). Then had to wait 20 mins to make a food order. Staff were lovely, just a bit mismanaged. Very nice and friendly staff. The portions were so big me and my partner couldn't finish it. We also had a starter of nachos to share and I must admit they were the best nachos I had. Also a big portion so I'm glad we shared it. Had chocolate milkshake ...omfg I never tasted milkshake this good...the place was very clean and if i didn't stuff my face to the point where I might explode I probably would still be sitting there. Make sure u don't wear tight clothing going there coz u will want to eat everything and with these portions it's a challenge to finish 😋 defo you try it out.

Shared a pizza with a side of fancy fries. The pizza was okay but a bit bland, tasted more like frozen pizza than a fresh one. The fancy fries were way over salted but otherwise fine. You have to be in the mood for over the top, over portioned, greasy, american style foods. Also a disappointing selection of beers on tap, seems they are trying to push for cans instead. Don’t see myself going back unless I have to

It's grand. No healthy options on the menu but that's not why you go to Sugar Rays. I had the hero platter which was 3 burgers, wings, 3 breaded ribs and buffalo chicken fries. Came to £19. Loses a star as the wings weren't warm.

They do amazing ribs, this time one end of the ribs was very charred. They weren't piping hot and with how much cold air comes from the air conditioning they go stone cold quickly. We LOVE their ribs normally and will always go back. I understand that delivery is a new thing and lots of delivery men are collecting orders but really customers who are stood in front of you wanting to pay the bill should take precedence instead of being made to wait with the door opening and closing, it was foundering. Can't usually fault the food, except the coleslaw 🤮

Food was beautiful. The only thing that bothered me was the music is really loud and when I go out for dinner, I like a chat and that wasn't easy. I was able to get a half portion of the chicken stack and was charged half price as I explained I can't eat much, which was brilliant.

We really enjoyed the food and ambiance at Sugar Rays. The service is excellent and the price is very reasonable. At certain times they do a cinema deal which is, a drink, a 2 course meal, and a cinema ticket for £22. Considering that the food is excellent I consider that very good value. I will certainly return.

Have been here quite a few times in the past, so when deciding where to go for a bite to eat, well on past experience sugar ray's was up there. But unfortunately when we arrived, even though the staff were super friendly and courteous, the meal which I was looking forward to, was disappointing. I ordered the chicken, BBQ sauce, the sauce was BBQ, but the batter on the chicken was way too heavy, as it was usually very light and slightly crispy. The chicken was also a touch heavy, as thinner strips worked better before. But then this is just my experience and thoughts. The son-in-law ordered the ribs, but commented that this is the first time he never finished the rack. The son got the burger, which was huge, and the daughter the burger also. And of course dessert, which was ice-cream was delicious, but served in a glass tumbler, very retro. The 3 🌟 was for the chicken, and having the Aircon deliver a nasty draft.

Interesting menu. I've eaten here a few times and food is good. The chicken gravy is lovely but is very heavily salted and as its batch made and the kitchen is very busy there's no way a single portion can be made. Hygiene is good, tables are cleaned almost immediately and drops and spills are also cleaned immediately. Staff are attentive without being intrusive.

Wonderful service from a superb staff. Wonderful food that really looks too good to eat. I always can't eat all of it, though I do my damnedest to try. The pancake breakfast is delicious, the burgers are wonderful and the hot dog meal is scrumptious. They do different deals every day which is great too. So you're always spoilt for choice in what to eat or drink. I recommend the milk shakes they do too I loved the monkey one.
