Hadn't booked but they got us a table straight away by rejigging the seating plan and as I have to use a walking stick they made sure it was downstairs. Fabulous food as always.

Good quality food all served fresh. Slight wait time before food comes out. You can bring your own wine, all other drinks can be bought from the bar inside. Service was excellent, staff were always available. Even on a busy day we didn't feel rushed. One downside is the Guiness is served in tins. Place is a bit cramped, but overall a good place to eat with any sizes of group and the food is great.

This is a very nice wee restaurant offering decent food at a reasonable price. Staff pretty efficient and friendly. Advisable to prebook in advance as it does get very busy, especially at the weekend. Parking is a bit limited also. Their menu is fairly standard, but should suit most tastes. They do a 2 course special at 15.95 and 3 courses 18.95. Portions are generous so make sure you are hungry before you go.

Met at the doors by a girl with glasses lovely big smile very welcoming she showed us to our table and give us the menu. Then a girl with blonde hair in a ponytail came to take our order she was really friendly too I couldn't make up my mind and she helped us to choose.very warm and friendly manner really made us feel at ease as we hadn't been out for a meal since lockdown. Food was quick and cooked to perfection.really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back.they were so busy because of the dine out to help out offer but they were all still smiling and giving 100% thank you to the team at the temple restaurant.

Amazing Food and Service. If you are in Belfast do eat here. My partner and I ate here this evening. Friday 27th September 19. We arrived without a reservation to a really busy place. It was no problem to the staff to find us a table and bring the most delicious food. My partner had, cod cheeks for starters, steak and Guinness pie for main. He loved it. The flavour was yum! I had garlic and cheese bread, baked salmon on a bed of veg and baby potatoes. Most tasty salmon and veg cooked to perfection the garlic bread was really good too. We'll definitely be back guys. Couldn't manage desserts but hopefully next time

A great little spot. The staff have been outstanding on every visit. I've had food in Temple a few times and often order the cod.. it has been very good in the past so I thought I would order it again tonight. It was not cod! It was very bland and had the flavour look and texture of hake. I was given strict instructions not to complain by family members. I fish for cod , cook cod and know what a cod looks and tastes like.....passing this tasteless fish as cod is offensive. Portion size has decreased from visit to visit. The only option is to go somewhere else. Don't order the fish.

Had a beautiful meal tonight I had sweet potato and chorizo soup as starter and being a chef myself I could tell the chef knew exactly how to use these two ingredients creamy sweet potato with a light spice kick added by the chorizo it was delicious, main course I had a fillet steak cooked rare peppered sauce and saute potatoes, Steak was perfectly cooked and rested sauce excellent and the potatoes had a nice crisp bite and light and fluffy centre, add to that the friendly staff and prompt service made it a lovely dining experience,

Like most local restaurants it depends on the time when you go. Staff seemed to be in a bit of a mood so service was not the best. We seated my niece in a high chair and we're asked to move it and in the same breath the person dragged the chair down the table before any if us could move. The food was ok for an afternoon lunch sitting but I wouldn't be rushing back to the Temple. Most people love this place though so I might be the issue. When we were sitting there they must have made a few thousand in vouchers alone. This was pre Christmas.
