Having just arrived in Belfast after stepping off a plane, we were looking for somewhere close to our hotel in the city centre for brunch, and we stumbled upon this amazing little cafe whilst searching on Google Maps! Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted, with a friendly smile, seated and given menus, and from there we order some drinks and then some food. Both were respectively brought out quickly, and both were equally as amazing, with the milkshake being creamy and thick, and the food being hot and very tasty - and very fresh too! The sandwich and wrap were both stuffed with fillings, and were both very flavorful! The bill was very modest, and given the quick and friendly service, we left happy and content and ready for the day ahead 💯👏🏻

Had another amazing meal at The Other Place tonight. My friends and I are regulars here and are never disappointed. The menu has something for everyone and the food is tasty and very high quality. They have great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are so friendly here and there is a great atmosphere. The owner in particular always makes a point of coming to chat to you and very welcoming. You would find it difficult to get such delicious food for such a reasonable price anywhere else in Belfast! I will definitely be back again.

Firstly, food is amazing! I’ve never tasted food as fresh and enjoyable ever. Once I stepped foot into the restaurant I was constantly asked was everything okay with my order and food, which I thought was amazing service. The staff in the other place are so so friendly I’ve never been in a restaurant that made me feel so welcome in my life!!! I will 100% be back at the other place. And I just want to thank all the staff for the pleasant attitude towards me and my friends.

Went here with a friend for lunch & ordered a wrap & soup. I'm not a picky eater but it was possibly the worst meal I've had out & I had to send it back. The soup was like something they'd serve you in prison. Just make a regular vegetable soup as the soup of the day!! The waitresses were very accommodating & apologetic & I got a dessert instead (it was 10/10) because the veggie options weren't the best. My friend's meal looked pretty good tbf & she really enjoyed it.

We found this place after walking around Belfast all day. Most of the menu is less than £8 and the food is delicious. Portions are massive. A good place to end a day in Belfast. Definitely going back whenever I’m in Belfast again. 5 out 5 stars.

Took my mother for Sunday lunch. Mum had 2 course Sunday roast and I had fajitas. Both meals were delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were fantastic. So helpful, friendly and courteous. A blind gentleman was there at the same time and the manner in which all the girls looked after him was so heart warming. We had been here last November and really enjoyed it, as we were in Belfast for four days had planned to go back but on the website it said closed until 7th Sep, but on the Wed 2nd Sep as we were looking for somewhere to eat and were completely drenched down at the harbour we noticed it was open and were really pleased, we had already bought some wine and beer and when we went in completely soaked they welcomed us so well, our wet jackets were hung up for us and the heating was put on, they had only opened the day before and when I mentioned the website they said the info wasn't correct and they would sort it out.We had chicken burgers and boiled rice, garlic ciabatta bread and our own drinks, no corkage, food was excellent, atmosphere and staff lovely, felt much better afterwards, gem of a place! Absolutely delightful. We were greeted at the entrance by the owner. Ordered the club sandwich and the lasagna. Plus a Cookies and Cream Milkshake! Warm, delicious comfort food after a long day of walking the city. The owner came up again to gave us tips on the city about the city, even marked reset the router so we could use the WiFi since it wasn't working for us! Other staff was so kind and helpful. Would go again if were staying longer in the city.

Popped in for breakfast on a whim. Staff are extremely friendly, their menu has a nice range and the venue is pretty cosy. The prices were very reasonable and the food was good. I hope they'll change a policy preventing you for substituting items. Would definitely return, I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Seems to have gone downhill recently. The breakfast and lunch options are great but the last few times the dessert has left a lot to be desired. The 'fresh' cream, which is 50p extra, is actually squirty cream from a can and all of the desserts I've tried seem to be bog standard desserts bought in bulk from a supermark, nothing special at all. I got the Sunday roast dinner and it tasted like leftovers, poor quality meat and whatever vegetables they managed to throw together. I will be avoiding the roast dinners and desserts in the future and the whole experience has soured what used to be a good impression.

Wonderful food and customer service. One tip however is that the bathroom get a lock that indicates whether it is engaged or not. I attempted to enter when someone was in which can be quite frustrating. It would be good if there were more bathrooms but I understand this may not be the case when you consider space.

This place is amazing to go and eat in with your family as it is a quite place to be in. Although they do not sell alcohol and you have to bring your own. There is a wide variety of different foods for you to try. The portion sizes are very good and the pricing is very cheap for good quality . I would definitely recommend this to other people.
