J. P.Excellent cocktails, bar staff were fantastic all night despite being v busy with Christmas do's, festive shoppers & everyone else. Very attentive. Service was superb from bar tenders to the ladies collecting glasses to the doormen doing door checks. The live music was brilliant, really nice to be out with live music again ❤ One fella on his guitar, smashing out old & new tunes live. Really good atmosphere. Also loved the decor. Wud definitely visit again thanks!

Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was very friendly and fast considering every table was filled.
A. K.For the past couple of years I have been wanting to stop in The Rusty Saddle and finally did. The raspberry mojito was refreshing. Order the chips/fries with the chili mayo or sweet chili sauce. They are delicious and a nice little treat. Nice atmosphere for a bar/pub.
G. O.First night out in Belfast and had to find somewhere to eat, this was our choice, solid pub food and friendly service, worth a visit. Good portions at a reasonable price.
V. H.Friendly, attentive staff, good, unpretentious food in abundant portions. Music a little too loud for an afternoon visit, but not overly unpleasant. Very clean and modern interior. Well worth a visit, but I suggest that you book in advance. Thumbs up for a pre theatre visit to the Opera House.

Came here whilst on a stag party and the food was unbelievable, highly recommend the sharing platter to get a nice taste of everything and the steak sandwich was perfectly cooked. Pints were fresh and crisp and the service was fantastic, both attentive and good craic. Good spot for a bit of live music too 😃 will definitely come back when I'm in Belfast next!

We went upstairs later in the week, it was only opened just a few hours before. We had a great time, great atmosphere, great bar. The DJ really knew his stuff and all the music he played was appropriate for such a place and crowed, depending on time of day. Great staff. Good prices. Great job at the new renovation.

A. M.So glad I found this place! I searched for a bar/restaurant close to the hotel I was staying in, only a 3 minute walk from the Maldron, lots of other hotels around too. Cool interior with huge tables and low chairs. The bar really stands out with cool blue tiles. The menu I loved when I read it online, so many choices to suit everyone. I ordered the Portobello mushroom burger, even though I was torn between the chicken and salmon. Oh my it was so good! And it came with sweet potato fries for only £12.50. I also got a carafe of red wine for 12.50. Great value for money and the staff were very nice. They also had a huge gin menu, I will definitely try one next time. Can't recommend this place enough!
J. W.Great meeting place for a drink with friends with loads of atmosphere. Be warned though, chatting can be a little difficult at times. As lovely as the live music is, it is electronically amplified and just a little too loud to permit you to hear conversation - which is the main reason why a group of friends would gather at a lounge bar rather than a nightclub!

The bar maid went to serve someone else, which happens, but the other guy told her I was first and she honestly turned with such a surly attitude. Made me feel really uncomfortable there. No smile or welcoming vibes at all. I felt like I wasn't welcome.

K. K.Very nice inside, really stylish. Nice staff. The worst fish I've ever had - didn't seem to be fresh. Veeery rubbery and greasy (I think they gave the lemon so I could kill the bad taste of the fish). Even though the waiter was polite, he messed up the order and I didn't fully get what I wanted. They serve a nice chilli dog though.

However, we did go for drinks in the afternoon and really enjoyed the very reasonably priced wine and also the musician was excellent. Kicked off with Otis reading. Will be back again for lunch soon I hope.

Only one problem the noise is at top level. Too noisy. Bit cramped at some of the tables. Doesn't put me off will be back again. Price of food very reasonable.

I can't remember what the other half had, but I definitely know what I had because it was gorgeous. The Guinness steak pie. B-e-a-uuutiful. The steak was nice and soft, just right. Really enjoyed it. G. S.We stopped here shortly after arriving in Belfast as we were hungry after a flight and still getting our bearings, so we need food fast and just hoped it would be good. We were not disappointed, the service was fast and polite and the food was tasty and filling!
J. C.Dropped in here for a lunchtime pint and a meal on my own. Staff were friendly and attentive without being pushy or in your face. Had a couple of pints of Magners cider which was as good as ever. For my meal I had a starter of goats cheese bonbons which came with a lovely sweet relish and a generous salad garnish and was very good. My main was the peppered chicken stack which also included bacon in the stack and was served on a bed of champ (a northern Ireland potato dish) and fresh cooked vegetables. The chicken was moist and succulent and nicely offset by the saltiness of the bacon and the black pepper sauce was plentiful without drowning everything and had a great flavour. The food is clearly above bog standard without being overly fussy. And the price was good for the standard of food and service. Thanks.

Most of the staff are lovely and the drinks and cocktails are always made to a good standard.
The door staff are also realy nice guys which is a hard one to get anywhere these days.

P. H.Handy wee bar. Does exactly what it says on the time. The food in here is good, not anything special but you aren't paying special prices. Smoking area upstairs is big enough for a decent crowd and the selection of beers is good, more ciders could be added, that's the only downside!

This was my 1st time in it since it was the original Washington. Part from that I would be back maybe food next time. The group I was with did have food and all seemed to enjoy it.
