A restaurant serving decent Italian food. The lasagne is cheesy and delicious with a crunchy crust on top. Also tried Calzone (which is a form of folded pizza) with chicken filling which is interesting and something new for us. Sweet potatoe fries served as a nice side dish. Garlic bread is really similar to pizza crust so probably no need to order separately if you are already having pizza. Worth a try if you are hanging around Victoria Square with no particular preference for food.

Went for a family night out along with my baby grandson. We had booked a table before hand. Manager greeted us and showed us to our table. Very friendly. The waiter a young guy went and got a high chair for the baby. Very friendly and good our drinks right away. The food was prepared well and lovely presentation. We had a selection of drinks and the night was a success. Thank you again to all the staff. We know it is hard in these conditions. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you. X

We visited Zizzi during our recent visit to Belfast to see family and went back to this restaurant after previously visiting a couple of years ago. We were so glad we did as the staff and food are still as wonderful now as they were last time. We were served by a delightful and attentive lady called Leah but the star of the restaurant has to be the manager Justin (who was in charge last time we visited) who is politeness and helpfulness personified - everything about this restaurant is top notch from the welcome to the service to the food to the departure - thank you again - rest assured we will be back next time we visit this great city.

Belfast - From the start of our evening we were greeted with a manager who went out of her way to accommodate us when we arrived early. Our waitress for the evening was informative and knowledgeable about the menu and what we wanted. Both Kate and Natasha looked like they were enjoying their job and made the meal a pleasant experience! We would highly recommend the restaurant.

I got spaghetti with tomato sauce (spaghetti pomodoro). It quite nice. I don't think the spaghetti was freshly rolled though. I think it was dried just because the texture was firmer. I would have liked a larger portion. Maybe some vegetables or bread. This is my second time here. I got the pizza the first time. I thought it was quite dry. Too much semolina, and not enough cheese or sauce. That's why i ordered pasta this time. There were free pasta crisps on the table. It was a nice gesture and they tasted quite good. The servers were attentive. The prices were average. Standard for the area. Overall, there are lots of other restaurants in Victoria Square that i would rather go to, but a sit in Italian restaurant isn't that common so if you really want that it will be a decent experience.

Fantastic place.. Amazing staff.. Great ambience... Delicious menu...we visited for a special personal occasion, and since i requested for no meat, no fish or egg the staff went into great lengths to ensure and check every item served to us for its ingredients with care.. Despite our kids being a little noisy, they put up with us without any complaints and helped us feel completely happy and satisfied.. Accommodated requests which they dint really have to... Nice atmosphere, and tasty food. A nice quiet corner in the busy Victoria Square. A bit on the pricey side, but not overly so. Nice thin pizza bases, but maybe could be a little more crispy. Very nice waiting staff.

Arrived and we were brought to out table immediately. Cold water in steel jugs arrived with menus. The food was absolutely fabulous. The service was far about any service we had every received. The lady who service was not only courtesy but advised us on the menus. This place is definitely 5 star + and we won't forget the lady who serviced us. Thank you so a wonderful night.

First visit to Zizzi and was really impressed. As soon as we arrived we received some pasta crisps on the house, really well seasoned and tasty. Garlic bread starter was amazing. Lasagna main was really nice as well. My friend had the Bruschetta and Rustica pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Wow what an excellent find today. We went to Zizzi for lunch. We got a really friendly welcome followed with fantastic friendly service. The food was delicious Gina had Beef lasagna tasty and I had Casareccia Pollo Piccante Spicy harissa chicken in a creamy sauce with tomatoes. I loved it full of flavour and totally delicious. The pasta crisps we got on the house was an added bonus they are a flavoursome snack . I can’t wait to return.

Took real notion for pasta and came here for a meal. It was pretty busy so understandably had a little bit of a wait but found once we ordered the food arrived very quickly. There were some great choices on the menu and in the end we decided to share a pasta dish and a pizza. When the food arrived one memeber of staff immediately picked up that we planned on sharing the two meals and brought us side plates and helped us arrange the table so we could share more easily. I was very impressed with her intuitive response and desire to help- thank you Victoria (your red hair is fab!) Food was delicious, atmosphere was great and service was excellent.

Had a great meal! Really impressive menu very nice staff and a great manager. We were going to go to nandos but they had a more than 1 hour wait even with tonnes of tables open. Located on Level 2 of the Victoria Square shopping centre, (just off to the right from the escalator) It took me a little longer to find than i'd have liked. Being my first time in Belfast and it being 9.30PM I didn't have much choice for dining options, but Zizzi had always done me well before, i'm vegan and I knew Zizzi was good for vegan food. I had the 'Beetballs' (Vegan Meatballs) and they were delicious, the plate was very hot. DO NOT TOUCH THE HOT PLATE. They were delicious, vegan mozzarella and tomatoes. Hmmmm. I then had the seasonal Melanzana Tagliatelle which at on first bite. wasn't impressive but the more I ate it, the more the flavours came out and it was absolutely delicious. Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the pasta and it went together very well. The meal totalled £24 and worth every penny. Definitely check out Zizzi if you're a vegan and want a hearty meal especially if you can try the season pasta before Christmas is over. Joe

A first of all food when it came ( pizza rustica cheorizo) was deliciou and worth the wait! Second Wayne the manger was A*. We had a long wait (because of COVID staffing problems) but offered us free drinks and was so polite and attentive. Authentic top quality Italian food. The atmosphere and surroundings are good, the staff are very attentive. The restaurant is welcoming, clean and wheelchair accessable. The food is clean top quality and extremely tasty actually amazingly. Exceeded my expectations. The food is well presented and not in short supply. Children are made very welcome, plenty of families popping in during lunchtime as this restaurant is situated in The Victoria Shopping Centre. No doubt it would have more of an adult clientele during weekday and weekend evening's. I'll definitely give a return visit. Top marks for a top quality restaurant. This restaurant is definitely not a Domino's or Pizza Hut type of restaurant.... If that's your regular type of place to visit then you don't know what Quality Authentic Italian Food is. Give here a try, you will be impressed.

Pleasant modern surroundings. Child friendly. Friendly staff. Vegan/vegetarian menu available. Thumbs up for the pizza, the toscana soup, the dough balls and dips also. My family were happy out. However.... I ordered the salad from the vegan menu, and priced at £11.25 I was expecting good things. But I was sorely disappointed. It looked pretty.....but that's it. It lacked flavour and was insubstantial, the beetroot balls (both of them) were dry, flavourless and only just edible. I felt it fell well short of its description on the menu. At half the price, or double the size, I might say I got what I paid for. But asking £11.25 for a below par salad is rather cheeky.

Booked a table for 10/12pax on Thursday night. The staff were very accommodating and courteous towards us. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday and Gemma our waitress didn't stop the whole time we were there. She was very attentive to our needs and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Was at my daughter's birthday dinner last Saturday and was a bit disappointed. I was eating from the vegan menu and my bruscetta wasn't great, very little olive oil and no basil. My daughter's garlic bread was bizarre more like crispy wafers. Pizza was ok but one of the 2 vegan desserts wasn't available and there was no soya milk. Wouldn't be rushing back. Pizza Express does it so much better.

Had lunch on Friday 1st February with my Mum this is my favourite Italian restaurant. The menu has a big choice, we had skinny pizza , chicken pasta dish few glasses of wine and finished with cappuccino. They do good offers you certainly get plenty on your plate. I have never had a bad meal here , i have eaten here quite a few times. Joris Minne who did a review might not like it, but a lot of us do, as I’ve seen people turned away because they are fully booked this restaurant is always buzzing, You can see your pizza being made. An authentic Italian restaurant with a delicious range of dishes from rustic Neapolitan pizzas to al dente pasta. A busy place, the restaurant manager none-the-less managed to squeeze in our party of four without a booking and with only a five minute wait. Great service and not over priced.

Amazing food, I am Italian, I went to Zizzi so far probably more than 20 times and every time I am amazed at their food with the only expection for the sea bass dish which was okay but not comparable with any other dishes they serve like their pizzas are amazing. Obviously is not like the Italian pizza, but who cares, it’s delicious and their pizzas are so creative and literally an explosion of flavours. Their bread... oh my God... their bread. I had never ever in my life tasted such a good bread in Italy where I actually tried so many different type of bread over the years. That bread that comes with the fondue didn’t even need to be accompanied by anything, it was good just alone by itself! And not to talk about their decor... such a great place. You have an explosion of flavours in your mouth and the all atmosphere contributes to a great experience!

A great addition to the Belfast food scene. Serves authentic Italian food for a reasonable price. The carbonara is a genuine recipe made without cream and their pizza is absolutely beautifully made with a wonderful base. Only complaint on the pizza is slightly sparse topping for the price. There is also a fantastic range of beers on offer and a great dessert menu. The tiramisu was nice but not great, however the chocolate melt is to die for. The service was the best I've had in Belfast for a long time. Would thoroughly recommend.

I visit zizzi very often with my tesco vouchers.i really like this venue.it has a nice interior with very friendly staff.I love the wild boar meatballs.they are a little spicy but very tasty.i am not very keen on there risotto.when I had it, it was a little undercooked and flavourless for my liking.however the deserts are definitely the best part.i have had the chocolate salted caramel brownie and a similar chocolate melt which are delicious.i also like there range of non alcoholic cocktails.i had one with rosemary and thyme and blueberry in it which was very refreshing.so in summary I would recommend this venue but don't order the risotto!!!
