H. B.Staff were busy due to Covid restrictions, but perfect service with a smile! We tend to change our orders compared to the menu so we're very please that they got everything right! Sweet potatoes fried were a little underdone but edible - everything else was fantastic 😋
C. M.Went for mother's day and the food as always was lovely, but they seemed to forget about us as we had to ask someone to take our food order after waiting for almost 20 minutes. It was really quiet at the time so I'm not sure what happened. Anyway the staff were really nice and our food arrived quickly. We had a giggle as the pepper shaker had salt in it lol. I took a photo of the chocolate fudge cake as I asked for it to be served cold instead of warm, they did just as I asked and it was awesome!
G. T.Came in for a quiet meal in the bar after a business trip. Was not disappointed! I was starving by and tucked in before the photo, but the food was beautifully presented, the steak was mouth watering!

A. T.Hadn't been to the Harvester for a long time due to having bad experiences in the past with food being very average. However visited the Arden Oak Harvester to give it a go as there was a new menu and the restaurant had had a bit of a revamp. Wow I was very impressed with the food. I ordered off the evening set menu which was amazing value for money. £13.99 for 2 courses. Went for the chicken tenders with nashville hot seasoning for starter and the chicken was so juicy and tender unlike most tenders when eating out as they can be dry. Went for the dirty burger for main and it did not disappoint. Very tasty well seasoned burger, great cheese and a crispy onion ring and hash brown! Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning to try more of the main menu items as they've got some new great dishes 😊 my only negative would be that the salad bar is still not help yourself, it is done by a member of staff. Hopefully soon it can go back to serve yourself.

Friendly staff and good service overall.
Though I felt that the pricing was more than I expected and the portions as good as they were lacked in size 3 prawns on a bird surf and turf ??
However, in these covid times there are some odd things going on.
The worst thing is how they seat you when you wish to dine.
The tables are spaced enough, yet rather than seat people by maximising the gap between diners by leaving empty tables between then until they are needed they always seat the next arrivals next to an occupied table. 😞, come on please use your common sense and use the available space first.
There are areas that you cannot walk near staff only which makes the above seating journey more perplexing.
Staff will now serve you the salad cart as it is no longer self service, which is understandable.
Worth a visit.

D. O.Friendly atmosphere. We were walk ins but still got a table ( bonus) down side was having the staff serve you to the salad bar ,very time consuming and awkward especially if you have children to deal with and please.
Food was GREAT 😋 thank you for that.

S. O.All my family came to the Arden Oak Harvester for my dad's surprise 70th birthday meal. The staff were brilliant, so helpful and always smiling even when it was manic trying to order 22 meals and drinks. Food was amazing, service was amazing. Definitely recommend, thank you

Starting from requested utensils that I never got them.. the ribs had no meat on them and it was rather a small piece for the money paid.. but what I did not like was the taste which had this distinctive piggy taste an indication of below standard quantity of pork not well prepared..!! The slaw was just pieces of carrots and cabbage thrown in mayo.. no cooking art there either.. corn was ok and the potato was dried up..! Sorry I have nothing good to write about the ribs.. perhaps their burgers are better..!!

P. R.I have no idea what her name was but she was an excellent valuable member of your team. If she gets to read this, she was a young lady, who was Jamacian (black origin), very very cheerful, willingness to help and nothing was too much trouble to ask.
D. M.It's a decent place, lovely staff and comfortable but can be spoilt by some of the loud boisterous customers. It's a shame these people fail to understand that others want a peaceful chat and drink with their friends.

S.Not been here since it was revamped, it was full place in the past, however was surprised today, love the refit, looks quite up market, the menu was very nice as well, the food was really nice, looks like they trying to be like a beefeater, we will be going back again, would recommend the beef brisket and the pork belly, the fillet steak was beautifully cooked, one let down was the menus, they where a bit sticky and dirty, could do with a wipe over. Service was fast, food arrived hot and quickly, nice range of desserts, beer was nice, staff very friendly and attentive.

G. O.It was good to finally go out for a meal. The service was top notch. I had a mixed grill with a sirlion steak (unfortunately the steak was very fatty and chewy). The rest of the mixed grill was really nice. My partner had the combo, which she really enjoyed. So over all we enjoyed our first meal out in over a year, but it was a shame about the steak.

R. M.A lovely Harvester with everything you would expect. Good salad bar, choice of sauces and friendly staff. We also ordered off their Sunday menu which offered a nice set of alternatives to our usual chicken & ribs. They were willing to change our order to suit what we wanted, cooking food to our liking. I was also able to pay with the app at the end of the meal which was ideal and saved faffing around with my card. Free parking available in front makes it perfect for a family meal out. Would recommend.

The chef craig done his job brilliantly! Love it when you ask your food to be cooked a certain way and they actually do it! The service from the lady was also really good! In fact, every item on the menu was scrumptious, plated up with care and brought to the table by a very friendly waitress. Overall a sterling experience, and I will get family back. I have to.

Staff were pleasant & friendly.

P. P.This can either be fantastic or below average. It just depends what night you go in. I think the food can sit too long under the lights before serving. Regularly have to ask for fresh chips cos the ones served are cold. Staff usually very good. Never have a problem there.
Breakfast is always good though. They're good at that.

The meal was reasonable.
The coffee was awful. Tasted like it was the last in the pot.

This time the main was good but the salard bar was a bit spare and they had no crispy bit with the sources it was like the standard had slipped
The one thing that I was not impressed with was the cheassy garlic bread. You used to get sliced bread that had ample cheese on it but this time it was like two block of bread that looked like the garlic and cheese had been scrapped on with a knife and nothing on the inside that was also very dry and you were charged £4.99 for the privilege I won't be ordering that again

P. P.Visited late afternoon (5 o'clock) very quiet, friendly waiter, ordered from the special lunch menu, £9.99 for 2 courses. Good range but one our guests complained that there wasn't fish and chips. After a bit of discussion back stage it was agreed that fish and chips could be done for £9.99. Starters were promptly served with an invitation to help your self to the wide range of salad. Other guests ordered simply chicken and chilli con carne. The chilli was served without rice but the error was quickly rectified. All in all a nice meal in pleasant surrounding at a reasonable price.
A. W.First visit here, and I must say this branch has reinstalled my faith in Harvester after several awful experiences. The staff were welcoming, friendly and great with the kids... Given colouring books and crayons, they were in their element. The kids menu was simple, yet effective and catered for the fusspots that kids can be. The main menu was great, the salad bar was fresh... No brown bits on the greens lie I've previously experienced. The food was served hot and well presented. Overall, a great experience. Think I'll only go to this Harvester only in future.

R. M.Popped in here last week & the food was served fast & hot. One thing I've learned with Harvester is don't order the more expensive meals.... I have in the past & been disappointed (£20 ribs) I ordered the triple chicken dish about £11 & was excellent. Love the salad bar & great selection of sauces.
P. D.This the first time we have visited the Arden oak, the staff were pleasant and efficient. We ordered the chicken with king prawns then headed for the salad cart which was not very well stocked and had to wait for it to be refilled. The main course arrived looking very bland, the sweet potato fries were deep fried to death, the king prawns were transparent and tastless, and as for the corns they were over boiled and tasted like dish water. Is this the norm and the chef has become complacent? as dining out has become more expensive we expected the standard of food to be far better.

Ever time the door is left open every person goes freezing cold. Make all smokers use the front door of the pub .This pub has been 3/4 times refurbished spent 10 of thousands of pounds and still can,t get this very simple thing sort. The bosses of this out fit should sit in this lounge for 2 to 3 hours trying to have a drink and enjoy then you will see what you are expecting your customers to do. I never go in this pub from autumn to spring. This place is a total joke

B. L.The Arden Oak is a family friendly (Harvester) restaurant/ pub situated on the Coventry road, just before the airport.
It is easy to find and has opening times to suit all.
The decor and general aesthetic of the Arden is clean, bright and spacious. The seating is comfortable and varies in style based on where you are seated, some high back wooden chairs, some benches and a few diner style sofas. (High chairs available on request).
An open fire with seating near the bar, offers a relaxing area for a glass of wine/ beer in the cold and dreary months, this area has access to a beer garden for those who smoke or in warmer months, want to sit outside.
The dinning area is clean and well lit with an easy path to the salad cart, the bar, the toilet and the beer garden.
After the recent think through of the menu, there's a much nicer selection of slow cook/ grilled options as well as the pub favorites, and nice selection on the childrens menu, PLUS, pudding chpices that will leave no one unhappy.
The Arden Oak offers a take away service, breakfast, lunch and dinner and a good choice of none and alcoholic beverages including the usual draft beers, a few IPAs, wines, spirits and most soft drinks. They also have a refill (fizzy)option with meals.
All areas are wheelchair accessible amd the staff are happy to accommodate any special requests, providing it doesn't interfere with health and safety.
You get what you expect from a Harvester, a good menu at good prices with good choices, clean area, well mannered staff and family orientated ideals.
