I always love coming to Bank. The service is always exceptional and the servers always look incredible! Today I had the scallops as a starter, which where beautiful. I had a cheese and spinach tart which I actually didn't enjoy too much, not flavoursome enough for me personally, but it was cooled wonderfully. Then I had a chocolate fondant for dessert and that was amazing! Very happy with my visit!

Beautiful experience start to finish! Building is amazing, such a chilled but attentive vibe inside. Staff were so very helpful, service really was second to none. Had the fillet steak which was out of this world and lets just say.. cocktails were hands down some of the best ive had. We went for an early evening meal. Food was excellent, service friendly and fast. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the price. It's not unreasonable, but at the upper end of things. Also, while it was a cold day, the heaters were too hot! I'd go back, but only after we've saved a bit up!

Great restaurant. Attentive staff. Drinks were nice. I watched the mixologist mix a chocolate and honeycomb old fashioned burboun cocktail (very entertaining) and I also enjoyed the chicken skewer started with the baby new potatoes. Food was nice, I just wished there were bigger portions (but it was only a started I guess).

We went as guests of a firm of architects for their Xmas party. The people we spoke to all said the food was excellent. The party was in a private dining room which had a glass partition to the kitchen. This is an interesting and very modern restaurant.

It was lovely, I went for dinner and had the beetroot salad (can’t remember the name) as a started and it was lovely, that day they ran out many things in the menu so I went for the fillet and it was so tasty. The Thai fishcake a bit tasteless but the sauce makes the work . Definitely will come back, recommended

Very nice upscale restaurant, which proposes a kind of european mix / asian fusion cuisine with a very large choice of meats. I went for a tempura king prawns to start with: very good with the king prawns perfectly cooked. I couldnt resist to the meat and took an "onglet" with peppercorn sauce: absolutely great. Staff is very helpful and lovely. The place is wonderful, literally on the canal with a magnificent bay window. Social distancing and safety measures are in place.

Very sophisticated place! Beautiful evening out! Place to impress! Cuisine is best so far i ever tried! Taste of every dish is unbelievably good! Very well done to the chief! Despite of my smallest main - black cod dish for £30 which came as 2 inch slice with no garnish apart pickled union. Even so, it was mouthwatering tasty! My second half's fillet stake was outstandingly tasty, but its size again was very modest and again it came without any garnish. Definitely will go again and again! There is a clue in the menu - cold starter and a hot starter, it is for a reason 😂, use it!

Went to Bank Sunday 27th of Febuary 2022 , Celebrating my daughters 21st ( 20 in total ) Atmosphere was great food was great drinks were slightly disapponting especially the strawberry daquri for the price - unfortunately i left my blue peak cap on one the tables (I assumed it fell under the seat because i only realised it had gone as i left the ity centre , ) as soon as i realised i rang Bank 9 times from 9.45pm to 10.25pm didnt get an answer and you could not leave a voicemail when i got through in the morning they said it was there policy to check under the table when the people have left but my my hat was not there , which i found strange because there was no one else next to our party - but apart from that loved the place

Taken here for my birthday lunch and the food was very nice, no problems there. Very nice restaurant and decor. But that's where it stopped, customer service was lacking. It took ages before a waiter came to take even a drink order and our food took forever to come, the time between the starter and main was quite a long period too - that we even discussed leaving. Noone seemed bothered about taking more drink orders when we were done either. Its a shame because other parties in there were being seated and served much quicker than we were and having waiters attend to their tables. I was looking forward to this meal but it left a dampner on it.

We visited on Tuesday night, place was quite busy with all tables occupied. Few minutes after being seated we've been approached to order drinks by Taz. To avoid a hassle of going through drinks menu we asked for mocktails recommendations, drinks were promptly served, exactly to our taste. We couldn't decide on food, our waiter, Marcin, with very polite and proffesional manner went through choices on the menu and helped us choose sharing platter for a starter. Food was excellent, selection of grilled meats and seafood served on banana leaf bed with shredded veggies. Prawn tempura was cooked to perfection, crispy and succulent. Duck pancakes and perfectly cooked ribs were also excellent. Restrictions wise, on arrival our temperate was checked, restaurant has one way system. We sat close to bar exit, waiters sanitised hands frequently when passing by. Will definitely visit soon again, excellent service and great tasting food makes this place to stand out.

Inside lacks atmosphere compared to outside which was unavailable due to a private event (we'd have eaten elsewhere but had to book online as no one was answering the phone). My sister’s birthday dinner went beautifully- drinks were flowing as expected and food was great! Staff really made our visit a memorable one. Greeted by a bubbly tall gent called Nav whos compliments made our effort well worth it 😉... (and helped us getting unstuck in the revolving doors). Bank Review This was the second time of visiting Bank. Our first time was in the late afternoon for a couple of cocktails outside under the patio heaters. This time we went in for an early evening dinner. Our coats and bags were put into a cloakroom for us (a touch which I always love), and we were shown through into the dining area. Overlooking the canal, this dining area has a spacious, clean, modern warm and cosy feel to it. Lots of comfy seats around and great thoughtful design make this a really nice place to enjoy a meal. Or more simply, this is one of the nicest settings that I’ve eaten in. We started with some flatbread and hummus, which was fine — nothing mind-blowing, but I’ve yet to have my mind blown with humuus anyway. For mains I had a beefburger in brioche bun. Not particularly cheap, I was hoping for something a little more interesting. As it was, it was fairly disappointing. The flavour was a bit bland, the patty and bread both a bit dry. I ended up leaving a small pile of bits that I couldn’t finish. The homemade chips were fine, again not great. Fortunately the dessert, a rhubarb butter milk concoction, made up for the mains. It was brilliant. Well presented, great mix of flavours and textures. I would happily go back, but maybe for a lunch instead. Or more desserts. Price wise, not particularly cheap, but not too expensive either.

Over £1k spent there between my team and I (about 16 people). Beautiful restaurant, brilliant waiters, friendly and smiley faces all round. However, we arrived at 7:30pm for a 4 course meal. Didn't get appetisers until 8:30 (which was just pita breads and hummus), starter took another half an hour and the main didn't get there until 10:30pm, and it turns out they've "ran out of chips" for my halloumi burger and chips main. I had to leave at 10:45 to make a train, meaning I missed out on dessert because of the stupidly slow service. The food that did arrive was nice, albeit starting to go a bit cold. Abysmal wait times, but absolutely wonderful staff that served us. Won't go again, but if they up their wait times I'd happily recommend.

Lovely meal with Friends at Bank last night. The staff were friendly with a good knowledge of the menu and wine lists. The setting was pretty with views over the canals and the surrounding buildings. The food was of a good quality but not perfect. With such a large menu offering, it is not a surprise that the standards may slip when delivering such a large offering. I was shocked at the prices of the food and drink with a steak costing over £25 and arriving as a slice of meat on a plate.. I enjoyed the evening but for the prices and quality, was disappointed.

Bank holiday Monday, while waiting 90 minutes (with empty tables everywhere which means we could have been sat and gone) for any cancellations I am laughed at in reception while there was clearly an opportunity for us to eat and be gone before their reservations arrived. I'm not sure what the problem is/was. Now I have to eat there only to see if it's finally drowning or there is hope.

Nice decor with decent food - a bit on the pricey side but you pay for location and look more than anything. Market is saturated with so many restaurants. Decent is simply not good enough. Would recommend if you are close by or for the convenience of location - hence decent for professionals. Nothing extraordinary. A more of a personal touch would do this place great. Staff speaking into mics whilst servicing you felt very cold. Not for me, and would not recommend for a night out with your other half.

Love this place, there every weekend perfect to sit outside even in the winter as overhead heaters are provided on each table. The staff are great drinks are lovely and the food is amazing. Annoyed occasionally by the amount of time it takes to get served at the bar but you can't blame the staff when everyone is ordering cocktails. Recommend this place for a date or a place to go to get things started on a night out.

Not really my sort of place, but ok if you like that sort of thing. I'd give it 5 stars if it was the kind of place I like to visit. If I was less of a misanthrope I'd give it 4 stars. But generally I'd rather be left alone, hence the 3 stars. It does have a view of the canal and quite a nice balcony, but generally too posh for me. Plus I think cocktails are overrated. But if you like them and also expensive tiny food, you'll probably like this place.

What a wonderful find. At the corner of Brindley Place is this place. Wow oh wow. We had gone for an anniversary meal without any prior warning and to our pleasure it was the most wonderful evening. The decor internal is fantastic and the dining area is stunning. The servers were fast and attentive with our order and drinks, as was the delivery of all 3 courses that we ordered. We really enjoyed our meal here. The food is expensive; when ordering a steak everything was an add-on at extra cost (i.e. chips, steak sauce, vegetables). It all adds up but is worth the money in my opinion. The restaurant is beautiful, and we found the service to be great. We were waiting a long time to order as they were having a team meeting (around 20-25 mins) but were very attentive after that. Cocktails were also lovely, I'd recommend the strawberry mojito!

Wow, wow, wow, later is the place to be seen, live DJ with modern dance floor hits. Earlier is a great place to celebrate special occasions and Dine with friends is a modern and vibrant setting. We lived it and had the most wonderful of evening with friends and family to celebrate our own special occasion. Staff friendly, attentive but not intrusive and nothing is a problem.

Was taken here to as an early celebration for my birthday. Upon entering the restaurant we were helped right away by 2 friendly ladies. The table was beautifully simplistic in the setting which gave you enough room to eat comfortably. The salmon was melt in your mouth and the best I have tasted yet. All the staff were exceptional. On another note: the bathrooms were clean and especially like they decorated similar to a fancy hotel. A truly amazing experience.

Great modern style decor, making the most of the canalside location, with tables overlooking the water and open roofed terrace taking full advantage of the sunny weather this lunchtime. Although this is a chain restaurant, the service I always receive here feels local and friendly, brilliant management and staff here, they make you feel special and always take care of you. We were a little worried about the volume of the music when we walked in on Saturday night, thinking we would have to shout at each other over dinner, but not so. Restaurant out the back was lovely and cosy. Soft lighting (Perhaps too soft as we used phone torches to see menu!) 1 rump steak & lobster and 3 ribeye steak & prawns. All perfectly cooked and absolutely beautiful..... melted in the mouth. Good bottle of red wine too. Not the cheapest meal ever, but amongst the best. The waitress was scary but great fun and friendly! Great place for people watching too!

We were seated by the bar! 2. we pre-booked table for 9pm for 8 people. On sitting down we were told half the menu was sold out! 3. being by the bar was noisy due to loud music to made it difficult to talk to each other Very disappointing to have half the menu unavailable especially when most tables are pre-booked so you know what demand there will be This was supposed to be a special evening celebrating son's 21st birthday Not sure I would return again based on this experience

We've been here a number of times and have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. We have always dined in the dead space when lunchtime is over and most are not yet ready for their evening meal. It's the perfect time; choose your seat and dine at your leisure. Nobody is in a rush to move you on which is a bonus now we have a baby. Staff more than happy to show us to a table with room for a buggy and also a supplied high chair. It's not easy to dine in this type of restaurant with a baby but the quiet time and attentive staff made it an excellent late afternoon/ early evening experience.

Okay place. While food was nice enough for xmas meal, the drinks were a tad overpriced for what they were. Another issue was the lack of male toilets within the venue, for a venue that only had 3 urinals and 2 cubiles for the male toilets is a bit poor as everytime I went to the toilet there was a queue meaning I at one point I missed the start of my main.

Bank is the best restaurant to visit on an sunny day. Food and drinks are lovely, however it gets very busy and noisy at the weekend and they can't handle the volume. I made a reservation for 4 people at 9 o'clock on a Saturday evening.I specifically asked for a table on the terrace and the person who made the reservation assured me that we will be sitting on the terrace. We arrived at 9 o'clock and we were told that our table wasn't ready so we bought a drink and sat at the bar. At 9 40 I went to chase the lady who saw us at arrival but she simply seemed uninterested, finally she said she had a table for us which of course wasn't on the terrace. We only ordered main courses which came in approximately 30 minutes. I must say we all enjoyed the food. I will definitely go back to Bank maybe not at the weekend but I strongly believe that this place should improve its service and the overall management.
