Husband came hear alone the 1 day and was so impressed with the food and service bought be hear today, what can I say the food was amazing we had the sharing plater and added chicken wings, pork belly and grilled Chorizo, the pork belly was out of this world so soft and full of flavour and the Chorizo was just as good I highly recommend the food hear! Service was also great always there when we needed them and really attentive.

Very attentive waiters and great overall service. The waitress was very friendly and nice. If you can only get 1 thing, get the baked goat’s cheese with honey!! It’s AMAZING. We also got veggie paellas which were really good and a crab cake (I personally did not really like this but my friends did).

Genuinely cannot recommend this place enough! I was sent away with work over my birthday without knowing anyone in Birmingham to celebrate with. I mentioned this in my booking and was treated so well with a little glass of prosecco on arrival and a candle in my dessert! Service was absolutely top notch and the food was delightful! I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Birmingham.

Great restaurant with a decent attempt at authentic Spanish dishes. It can get very busy so be sure to book ahead at popular times. It is a bit more expensive than it needs to be and the staff know they don't have to work for their tip. It is auto added to the bill and then shared. I want my tip to go to the person I'm tipping if they have done a decent job. This is the reason I can't give higher than 3 stars.

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday about 5:30 pm. No booking but was still seated, but told I needed to be finished in 90 minutes. Okay. Paella was very good as was the chicken liver tapas. Great service - server offered me the paella special that added sangria for a GBP. Comfortable setting but a bit noisy.

However, I wish staff was more focused, I got the feeling our table was left out whereas the others were served quickly, some people ordered drinks after us and got them before we did.. As others said it hugely depends were you sit plus if they have enough staff on shift. When we were there, it was clear that they were understaffed, and the staff weren’t trained at all so orders were forgotten, the hill three times revised and the food mediocre. Went to Estilo on a Friday evening for an early dinner. There was plenty of options to choose from on the menu. We decided to order from the tapas menu. We chose calamari, chorizo in red wine mixed bread and the potato skins. Food arrived in a reasonable time and the service was very good. Overall we had a nice dinner at a reasonable price. Saturday night WITHOUT BOOKING seated within 20 minutes very happy. A very busy restaurant but the kitchen still produced a delectable array of beautifully presented dishes that all tasted both fresh and authentic. We dined on a Saturday night and the Restaurant was packed out which was a good sign. We got there early so we got our drinks at the bar. Great selection of alcohol, and the bar tenders were friendly and helpful. We saw a table become available that we liked the look of, so we asked if we could have it which the front of house accepted and sorted for us. Nice vibe in the restaurant. Staff very helpful, especially with one of my friends who had an allergy and needed to check a lot of the dishes when ordering. Food came in decent time and tasted great. Only down side would be the garlic bread was smaller than I thought it would be!

Good food and relaxed atmosphere but be aware that it's all tapas now. The food we had was fairly standard stuff. I was surprised how reasonable the price of a bottle of wine was, (a lot of choice under £15) The staff were welcoming and friendly. All in all a good night out

Had a great meal here prior to visiting The Alex theatre. The Piri Piri chicken and sweet potato fries were excellent. Then for sweet we had something that was like doughnuts with a crispy cinnamon batter with dipping chocolate... Mmm lovely. Staff were excellent too, cannot fault the service, hence the good tip was left. All in all if your looking for a place to eat before a show, then look no further than Bar Estilo . 👍

Well designed menu with dishes that are actually similar to Spain but also add a Mexican twist, they have good nachos 😊, different flavours sangria. Visited Bar Estillo on Saturday afternoon 22nd May, very well organised seated straight away and was given menus but could also use the app. Our server Shaun/Sean (not sure which way to spell it) was great he looked after us all afternoon and was never left waiting for drinks and food was delivered quickly too and hot. He made sure we had everything we wanted. Had a brilliant afternoon, atmosphere great, not crowded well spaced out seating. Definitely recommend. Oh and fabulous cocktails

Bar Estilo is a must visit in Birmingham. We have eaten here on multiple occasions and each time the food is delicious and service excellent - really friendly and attentive. The sangria and tapas are the most authentic I've had outside of Spain. Really wide selections for all dietary needs as well - love going here!

Bar Estilo is one of my favourite places to dine. My family took me there on Mother's day and it did not disappoint. Instead, it maintained it's high standards in service, professionalism, environment and of course food choices and quality. I had a wonderful time. Had an evening out here for the first time in 3 years and I can say it's still as good as it always was. I would have thought they'd have on-line booking by now, but had to phone and not sure details were taken down properly as the young woman struggled to find my reservation when we arrived. The atmosphere is busy, good place to eat out before a night on the town, but families eat here. Duck wrap starter with chilli dip was tasty and light, had salmon main which was perfectly cooked with mashed sweet potatoes and a mango salsa - bit of a weird hot v cold thing going on there which I didn't end up liking much but I wanted to try something different, just my personal taste. Catalana dessert (Creme Brulee ) I loved , not too sweet, they serve it cold though, I could probably have asked for it warm which I prefer. Their Mojito 's are great and Strawberry Daiquiri's not too bad. Usual cocktail prices and the food is reasonably priced. Roughly £6 starter, £15 main £6 dessert. Always love Bar Estilo for a meal and drink out in Birmingham. It's great when you get seated by the window, you can watch the world go by.

Great tasting tapas and good service. My only 'complaint' is that I wish tapas restaurants outside Spain would serve dishes the same way as they're served in Spain..... just a few dishes at a time. We ordered 7 dishes and they were all brought out together. Firstly, it was difficult to fit them all on the table, but they're also getting cold. In Spain, they'd bring them in groups of 2-4. Actually easier for the kitchen to manage too!

The staff here are extremely freindly and helpful, the food and drinks have a very wide range of textures and flavours that have a lot of authenticity to this specific resturant however some dishes could be tweaked or changed. The only problem that i had was the waiting time for the food as it took almost 30 mins for me to get my starter then roughly 35 minutes for me to get my main course despite me seeing my food ready on the counter but not being brought to my table, this meant that the food was starting to get cold as i was eating it. I would happily visit this resturant again however!

We stopped here on a whim as we were after drinks and some light food. We had a jug of the strawberry and passionfruit sangria which was really tasty and ordered a vegetarian paella to share. The serving size was reasonable for the price but it tasted super bland. It needed more herbs or spice - something to give it more flavour. The service was okay but nothing spectacular. If you come here perhaps try the tapas instead.

When we visited, Bank Holiday Monday, the service was slow. In addition the food we wanted was unavailable as they werr having problems with the grill. The alternative choice was awful! Tasteless and undercooked. My daughter reluctantly had the fish and it was slightly undercooked also and over seasoned with lemon...yuck !

My partner and I visit this bar at least every couple of months for cocktails! Their drinks are made to a high standard and taste as they should! (The Black Forest Martini is my favourite!) Service has always been quick and courteous and we tend to visit on a Saturday evening which I assume is one of their busiest times. We have also had food here on a couple of occasions and that was great too! My boyfriend and I are "alternative" / rockers and so we don't look the 'norm'. He has very long dark hair and lots of tattoos etc As such, we have experienced prejudice with other bars around Birmingham but not here - everyone is lovely!

More than pleased with the food. Two of us were greedy and ordered five tapas dishes from a range of 25+. Washed down with g&t's. Sea bass fillet and rioja chicken were somehow eaten after, with a bottle of verdejo. Lovely food and well looked after by the staff. Good result! Seated in good window seat overlooking the canal - ideal for people and barge watching. Drawback of this was watching Mailbox (Mainly BBC) staff using the outside area for a smoking area. Perhaps wine price should be pitched slightly lower but overall good to very good.

This is a fantastic place to meet good friends and to enjoy delicious tapas. The food is a mixture of Spanish and Med styles but it is all well cooked and full if flavour. We had a variety of tapas ranging from the Galicia octopus and pil pil prawns to the Spanish meatballs. With drinks and a generous 20% discount the bill came to £121 great value for 4 people.

Disappointing night - Let down by staff. Had a voucher for a free bottle of cava but when I went to pay my bill staff were suspicious and didn’t seem to believe me. Good food but a bit pricy for what you get when it comes to mains. Stick to tapas as the Piri piri supreme on the mains is a nice dish but you're better off buying chicken thighs with fries separately as it's much cheaper. I.e £9 vs £14. You get more having chicken thighs than the breast with the supreme. You get 1 breast that is comparable in size to my 4 year olds foot so that's saying something.

Go for tapas and drinks. Mains - not that great As much as I loved the house white and the refreshing Singapore sling, and even the starters of the two tiny burgers and the pulled pork wraps me and my partner shared, the mains- peri peri chicken supreme and estilos paella, felt a bit lacking. The peri peri chicken supreme firstly did not look very supreme. However my partner said it tasted all right. The estilos paella (I wish I went for the tapas size as it is very big) was nice.. I told my partner 'I could make this myself - which is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time). I enjoy spiciness very much normally, however I felt it overtook the dish. Plus the chicken in it was bland, and the prawns and squid also. Mainly tasted of chorizo (when I had a bite of chorizo) and spicy paella rice. I still had my meal and it was good but now what expected. Drinks and starters are great though!

We dined here Saturday and it was fully booked which is always a good sign.We got there early so we went to the bar to have some pre dinner cocktails , which were wonderful . The food was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly throughout the whole night .I would definitely reccomend a visit

I have been to Bar Estilo on many occasions, but this is the first time I did not enjoy the food as much. We had paella it was tasteless and watery. I did complain and they didn't charge me for this item so they handled it well. I will try again in the future.
