Ordered fish and chips which were cooked to perfection. Maybe would have be nice to have the few extra chips that I did see scraped off my plate at the serving hatch but they probably did my gut a slight favour.
A salad came with my number 1s lasagna and it looked as though it had been left out for a couple days. When asked to have a fresh salad, there was new bits of salad mixed with the old, so a bit of cheat.
The staff were polite and tentative.
Overall a decent experience.

Love the Sirloin Steak ,my dinner is always nice, my husband however had Beef/steak Burgers this time, first time he had this, he usually has chicken burger and said it was tasteless and bit pink inside,he had 2 bites and couple of chips and said he couldn't eat any more. It took half hour to receive our drinks after ordering them and the ladies toilet upstairs had toilet paper in the end toilet but no toilet paper in the other 4 toilets, the holders were empty. I mentioned this last time I went there My husband was happy I enjoyed my dinner has it was Valentines Day but didn't tell anyone about burger has we didn't see anyone we could ask. I've been here before and food is normally great and staff are friendly, they are just so busy they don't have time to check if you wanted something else. So we paid bill by flagging someone else down and got drinks on way home and food for my hubby. It is normal for long waits but the food is usually great

I just had the BEST pancakes of my entire life! I highly recommend the children ones! You get to pour chocolate sauce on yourself, and add the strawberries and bananas on yourself as well! You get 2 whole American style pancakes cut into quarters! Was the best dessert ever!

It's a pity the southern Beefeaters are not managed and run the same as this one.
Steady stream of customers, only 2 hard working front of house girls, from meet at the desk, shown table and before leaving drink order taken, to serving the food and clearing away just the two, I say give them a pay rise.
Food well beefeater is what it is, prawn cocktail starter as was Hungary, nice enough and the steak, all went down well topped of with the blue cheese sauce and a pint of Stella.

Unfortunately our visit was tainted by the poor food quality. Wanting a quick bite and drink to enjoy we ordered a starter and main.
The calamari starter was over salted making it impossible to finish and the burger lacked in flavour and tasted slightly burnt. The portion of Fired up fries was generous however the portion on sweet potato fries with the other burger meal was very small and also lacking in flavour.
Our main concern was addressed when we finally got someone to come over after waiting a while with one of the waitresses, who simply said it depends who cooks it and the flavour of the calamari is salt and pepper so it will be salty(in which we later told that the chef adds extra salt to a premade mix). The response seemed to dismiss our concern with added salt.
The sauce that was part of our burger dish didn't arrive with our order and we had to ask for it and there was no sauce in our burger.
The hostess was extremely polite and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and listened to our opinions of the food served, relayed the information to the chef and did help with our bill which was very much appreciated.
Expectations were in line with the venue but unfortunately fell below acceptable standards, reducing the chance we will return for food.

Had a really tasty lunch here today. Absolute bargain price for the set menu, with great choices. The staff were extremely friendly, and I shall definitely be returning to sample the other dishes.

Came here for breakfast as Toby Carvery closed and we will definitely be coming back. The service was great, the food selections was typical of a buffet and fresh.
