Reviews of Brewers Fayre Great Park
C. H.
Perfect for a wheelchair user like me and my friend. Lovely, friendly service and the food came way quicker than expected. Clean, spacious, great choice of meals and drink on the menu. Decent prices. My friends' kids loved the Play Zone. Definitely would visit again if we come back to Birmingham.
K. R.
Excellent food, service and friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked bar. Plenty of seats and no long waiting for food or drink. I would highly recommend this restaurant, bar to anyone. Parties are welcome, along with a children's play area as well. A big thank you to all the staff over the 10 days whilst I stayed at the Premier Inn.
J. D.
Went during the week and was a lovely atmosphere in there. The service and staff were fantastic and drinks were very reasonable.
Clean place and lovely staff, especially a guy called Tay who I noticed was a very hard worker and polite to talk to. A very pleasant member of staff along with being smartly dressed.
Shall hopefully be returning soon and hope the service is still great !!
B. O.
I had a fabulous experience today. My children attended the play area and we had dinner and the service was outstanding. No job was to small for my attendee. She was truly faultless engaged in conversation with myself and children. Food was lovely and the play area and dinning area was clean and tidy.
M. R.
One of the best examples of Brewers Fayre that I've visited. Clean stylish modern decor. Very good soft play area. Food was tasty and cooked well. What really stood out though was the staff who were all very friendly and the service was spot on😊👌🏻
S.
Plenty of seating, but seemed a little lacking in staff. I had the Cottage Pie with peas & gravy; It was very hot (looked burnt around the edge) and tasted ok. My daughter had the veggie burger, which she seemed quite satisfied with. Overall, it was a little over-priced and the ladies toilets were very unkept.
J. H.
Took ages to be seated and despite having a 7 year old with me was not offered a children's menu. Not especially clear then if it was table service or order at the bar (the latter it turns out). Staff were friendly but clearly under manned for the number of patrons. Typical British pub fayre which filled us up but we wouldn't go raving about.
S. W.
This is a very old picture, to the point I do not remember it at all in the last 15 years. Now this one has always a bit of hit and miss. There was a period that it would have gotten 5🌟, at others it would be 🤮 At the moment the staff are friendly, the food is ok apart from the Sunday roast where they are very light with the meat. Come on people it's dead already, I am sure it would prefer being fully eaten and go to piggy heaven with a smile on its face. No apple sauce? Babe lived on a farm so clearly would like to to be consumed alongside a fruit based preserve. Not the best, but means the worst. In
M. W.
Went today for carvery and the service was outstanding for once and that’s because I served myself.
Shy with the meat even if u pay for king size.
Veggies ok, Yorkies ok, roasters like frozen aunt Bessie’s.
Bottomless drinks overpriced for sugar free only options.
Kids area great.
Ashtrays on front garden area were a disgrace looked like they hadn’t been emptied in months .
This place is very hit and miss with the service.
No condiments on the table is a nightmare especially when the staff take 10 mins to return with anything after serving your food.
All in all 6/10 and when that gets below 6 I won’t return.
A. G.
Food was fairly good, staff are lovely, but it is absolutely filthy inside! Doesn't look like they really clean anywhere apart from a quick wipe on the table.
M. R.
Food was fine it was the rest I was disappointed with. After being sitted, we noticed there was no kids menu so I asked someone for a menu they said they would bring one... We never got the menu even after he had sitted no note customers by our table. After ordering and the food got brought through, the adults meals came but no kids food, and it took the server 5 to 10mins to bring the next plate of food. No one came and checked on us, we were left to it. When I went to the ladies there was no soap in any of the dispensers and the taps are ridiculous.
Most positive thing about the "meal" was the posters in the ladies toilet about getting support from the staff when you feel in danger...
Glad I don't live local.
M. C.
Fairly overpriced for the portion size. Food took a long time even though it was quiet. Items missing when food arrived. Staff friendly and professional.
T. C.
Delicious food 2 meals for £8.99 but we would pay full price as it was so good.
Really friendly staff. Very clean.
The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because they staff didn’t have face masks on - I understand that it’s not yet compulsory but they could be spreading COVID-19.
c. n.
Just had breakfast here, as usual, are too much! We popped in on off-chance but they managed to sit 12 of us. Staff and food were great. Orders were brought out quickly and were delicious. Thank you 👍
M. P.
Service and starter and main meal was great but the puddings were a bit disappointing in as much as they didn't have the ones we wanted and the ones we had left a lot to be desired. I had pancakes and cream which I was told was ice cream and then I found out it was off the children's menu but still charged £4.49 !!! For it.it will be a long time before we go again. Don't get me wrong we understand they may have problems due to covid and we feel sorry for them but if you pay for an adult pudding you expect to get a decent sized one. We cannot thank the man that served us he was so friendly and polite and couldn't do enough for us.
C. P.
I booked a table in advance for me my partner and 2 young kids on a early afternoon, the menu was great till I tried to order and they hadn't got 3 out of 4 meals as they said it was new menu. They could have advanced warn when booking table or being shown to table. When food come out they missed a kids meal off so had to wait for second to come. My mixed grill (none available) I mean burger was very nice, great size and not too badly priced.
Kids meals was good and well enjoyed by them.
Just shame they didn't tell us before ordering as could have got similar burger nearly half price of lunch menu.
G. K.
Friendly staff ok food, used meerkat voucher so was half price and Brill value, the starter of nachos was missing some of the stuff stated on the menu but I didn't bother complaining as it was still nice. The main courses were ok. My only criticism was there was no cutlery on section you get it from and most of condiment bottles were empty, no attention to detail but that was soon remedied by the friendly server
M. H.
Excellent service, extremely clean very good communication with staff, top quality food, carvery hot and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend
R. P.
Had to wait over an hour for pudding, when it did arrive it came out cold so had to wait yet again,no garlic bread and no flavour shots to add to fizzy drinks, only one staff at bar. First time here, won't be returning
P. M.
Fitted us in on a very busy lunch time. Food ok for the price. Staff not very welcoming
J. R.
The place was good, great for kids too, but food not so good.
T. C.
Pretty standard pub with pretty tasty grub. You know what you're gonna get with a Brewers Fayre.
G. C.
Great food! Smothered chicken i had 2 lovely food and drink.
M. M.
I visited here last night with my family. We were greeted very warmly by the General Manager Richard. The service was great from beginning to end. Our food was a bit delayed coming out but is wasn’t much longer than I’ve had at other bigger restaurants. Richard was extremely apologetic and kept us updated with how our order was coming along. As with any restaurant opening just days since lockdown restrictions are eased, I expect they might just be getting back on their feet and have a higher influx of customers, whilst still maintaining a friendly service and good food. Hopefully everyone can be patient and understanding during this time and just appreciate being able to go out again. Thank you to Richard and the rest of the team.
S. D.
Visited today with my 2 children and my friend and her child, although they had issues with stock due to deliveries which is totally not their fault we had a great time! With an allergy I don’t expect everything to go perfect every time which is didn’t but I have to say these issues were sorted out quickly. Richard the manager was amazing throughout the whole visit! From the start he was very friendly and even after a few minor issues he was there to sort everything out! He even spoke to my son to sort out the issue he had rarther than going to myself which was a great touch. Thank you Richard
C. E.
Very quiet on a week day lunch time. Food was very quick and and brilliant value for money. They have a play area for kids that's £3.50, didn't personally look. Great value for money and lovely food. Perfect for families.
E. E.
Even though I live a little distance away, this is as close to a local as I've ever had. Good food. Good value. Good service. Whatever time of day. I tend to visit in the day time. It's a bit quieter. It's a good place to meet, eat, and talk.
l. b.
Everything was going to plan but had to complain because we had to wait for a hour for food. We order before other people but for some reason they got their food before us. I spoke to the manager and she sorted it. As a good will gesture she gave us a drink on the house. Thanks again
J. G.
food was brilliant service was good and atmosphere was outstanding
L. M. C.
Disappointed to find that they were not serving food today and we could not use the Costa coffee machine either. Food was always good on previous visits but didn't stay long due to nothing available. Kids play area was open so they were happy but had to leave to get lunch.
A. R.
Food was nice ordered mix grill but had to ask for steak knives
L.
It's okay. Plenty of space and parking. Beer dearer than other places.
J. O.
Absolutely amazing meal me and my mother had. The only downside was when we went up to get our food the waitress cleared our table so we came back to no cutlery or drinks.
a. m. l. b.
Its ok for a bite and a pint. Children's play area to keep the kids busy.
C. W.
I came to the brewers yesterday, where I was seated straight away and sever quickly at the bar. A situation occurred at the bar where the managers present delt with very professional and tried to calm the situation down, the security wasn't much good as the situation escalated quickly and the customer was showing threatening behaviour towards the staff and he walked past the situation like nothing was going on !
N. L.
I regularly use this pub and restaurant as it is local for my family and I, we have always found that the bar and restaurant staff are of a high calibre, it is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is always nice and the beer excellent!
Go and see for yourself ☺️
K. K.
Can't fault this place, its just an easy local, getting drinks here can be a bit of time spent but booking was easy, and tables were clean. I didn't eat there so I can't comment on food but went for a few drinks and was ok. x
M. K.
First time having an all you can eat breakfast after staying at Premier Inn. Nice and clean and friendly staff
G. P.
Been today for my sons birthday we hadn't booked but they accepted 8 of us in were very friendly, food was lovely and so was the staff they were very helpful nothing was too much trouble and even brought put a cake and sang to my son then gave us discount on our food so glad we went there. Will definitely be going back
L. D.
Lovely family meal out and loved the food.
R. C.
Lovely friendly staff and a cheap pint, perfect for a couple after work.
S. H.
Friendly bar staff. Chatty and helpful.
Told 30 mins to even order food, an hour to wait to receive so got a drink only. Disappointing as we wanted dinner.
H. C.
Always welcomed by smiling staff, good food and a decent pint. Come here on a weekly and everything is consistent can’t say a bad word, my daughter loves the play area and I like the food
A. M.
Staff were really friendly, the play area was clean and very good. And although my chips were a bit on the cool side. My chicken was absolutely delicious. And so were the children's meals. And it was quite busy. After reading some if the reviews, we didn't want to go. But when we went for breakfast a few weeks ago, I thought it was very nice. And again made to feel welcome.Great.... keep up the good work. ☺
E.
Lovely food will be visiting again soon
s. h.
Took years to get served and my partner had plastic in her egg not the best experience
A. A.
Very busy and lively, staff were amazing xx
C. K.
Nice food and excellent service. Only problem was smokers standing close to the doorway which made the restaurant stink of smoke but the waitress dealt with this swiftly
R. L.
Excellent food completely awesome staff very good menu really I enjoyed my meal here
P. P.
Good food pleasant staff used our two for one vouchers good value enjoyed ourselves thought it a bit mean to be charged 35p for some extra gravy though
A. L.
I stayed overnight in the premier inn on July 10th and had breakfast at 7am as soon as the restaurant opened. Many thanks for the great experience, food and service was absolutely top notch in every way!
A. W.
Tried the daytime special menu and was pleasantly impressed it was quiet Monday around 2pm, good size portions.
Started with potato dippers which arrived quickly , nicely done followed by chicken and bacon salad.
I had the beef burger and was not disappointed very tasty and not greasy .
All at a great daytime price £8'99 for 2 mains' pleasant service good price beer's
We'll be back for sure
D. D.
Good value meals before 6 well worth a visit and manager let us have the discount although we was 10 mins after 6 to order now that's service we appreciate
m. b.
Great Sunday roasts, however this was a birthday celebration not for Sunday lunch. On this occasion service was very poor and the food for some of our party was not up to scratch and simple ma's and very for our gluten intolerant grandchild did not arrive until almost 30 minutes after everyone else's food. There was a staff shortage. However a partial refund was offered and an apology from the manager. I'd already left as I was so upset. But he spoke to my daughter-in-law.
L. M.
We went to your great park yesterday for my grandsons 4th birthday and must say the staff were 💯/0 they were brilliant nothing was any bother for them 👏 the reason for only 3 stars was your menu I paid £13.49 for chicken and ribs combo instead of 2 for 8.99 and I have got to say the portion size was rediculous for price infact after that ate a gammon meal as well it's a shame because we all had good time but that was a downfall thank you to all staff
J. J.
Great visit yesterday. The staff were friendly, the food was really nice and the place itself had a nice relaxed atmosphere. We popped in on the off chance, after leaving the cinema, hoping we could get some food. Luckily the Brewers Fayre serve until 10pm. Food was excellent and the puddings, although we didn't have room for one, looked lovely.
l. f.
Surprised I couldn't start a tab at the bar for food and drinks . However that aside , Lisa in the play area was friendly ,the play area looked clean and tidy . Ordered food and drinks with Katrina at the bar , it arrived in good time ,looked like the picture and was tasty. Next day we had breakfast ,only saw one lady working . The quality of the food again was really good , couldn't fault it well done grill chefs. . Due to its location I don't think I'll be back though.

First time eating at brewer's fayre!! Lovely place! Nice & quite! Will definitely eat there again
A. D.
Adequate food staff ok
K. S.
Me and my partner struggle to have a sit down meal with a hyper toddler. Here they have a play area and we can order our meal to the room so we can sit and watch her. Perfect ! And we were surprised as to how nice the food was too ! My steak was cooked perfectly and my partners burger was lovely
M. M.
Love this place! Nice and family friendly environment. Has a indoor play area with huge slides! My daughter's love coming here. The food is good. There are nice vegetarian options. The staff are good. Perfect place to go for a catch-up or just to eat out.
c. s.
Meal OK, not told garlic bread ran out had to go and ask about it
P. G.
Chain restaurant as part of M&B group. Nothing exceptional but fairly regular pub food with occasional seasonal specials. Reasonable pricing with offers via loyalty card. Need to be seated but have to order at the bar. On this occasion, one of two main meals not available at 7:15pm! Dark walk from car park which should be better lit in evening hours. Shares car park with Premier inn so lots of travellers using the pub. Has fun area for kids during day which charges extra. Don't expect good cleanliness.
D. D.
Really kid friendly, plenty of parking, a bit pricey on the draught beer's but not over the top! However the food is ridiculous high priced and of an average sized/standard meal, would not go there again for food!! There are plenty of other pub's that offer the same conditions nearby or even a 5 minutes car journey away that have far better food varieties on offer and are much more reasonably priced. Drive that extra mile or two and save yourself and your family quite a bit of money for a very similar, average kind of public meal..
N. C.
Food excellent, really, really good quality pub grub, cooked expertly and slickly presented but... tables are placed so close together, you almost feel as if other diners are sitting on your lap. It's a bit ridiculous that people have to squeeze between tables to get around the restaurant, when you consider there is an awfully large amount of floor area not being occupied by tables. Some sensible table location planning would knock my estimation of the Brewers Fayre at Great Park, up to 5 stars from my rating of 3 for this review.
A. G.
Had a great Father's Day meal out. Friendly staff. Just need to remember to put car registration on tablet on arrival.
A. J.
Although it's a lovely place inside and the staff are friendly and helpful the price of the food there for what you get is over priced, the mixed grill I and a few others ordered was £14.50 and I was very disappointed with what I received, it seemed like a kids meal, so we probably won't be visiting there any time soon, not unless the prices are reduced, for what I received £9.99 would of seemed fair not £14.50
C. R.
Have recently started to go for a meal at Brewers Fayre, after seeing a film at the nearby Empire cinema. The restaurant is usually quiet around 7pm - 8pm on a Sunday evening, so we have had quick service. We have enjoyed all our meals served by helpful and polite staff, the menu is full of interesting meals.
S. “. W.
Not a bad place but not very welcoming either. Nothing told me I had to order at the bar so had to figure that out myself. Service was reasonable and staff quite polite.
Prices seemed a little higher than your average pub restaurant.
I may eat there again but won't be rushing to go.
P. m.
Handy little place to pop in for a bite to eat or a quick pint after footie training
A. S.
The food is average. The pub is set out nicely and most of the staff were pleasent enough. However we were seated by possibly one of the rudest people I have ever come across in the hospitality industry. 3 people in my group of 4 commented on her rudeness as well as noticing her give the same reception to other diners.
L. B.
Had dinner here a few times when in the area, with mostly very good food. It serves the usual Brewers Fayre meals - steaks/grills/pub classics/vegetarian/desserts/drinks. Especially like the deals like 2 meals for £8.99 & refillable drinks. This visit was for 3 adults - chicken tikka - good, lamb shank - very nice but green beans a bit too crunchy for me, & ranch steak -not good. Only offered as pink or well done, the pink (bloody) was mostly inedible & couldn't even cut with steak knife & half the chips were dried up to so returned to the kitchen. A replacement meal was offered but declined but we all had free refillable coffees which were good.
Next to Premier Inn/Opposite cinema/Free Parking/Some outdoor seating/kids play room/some pub games
K. M.
My husband and I enjoyed our quick meal before the cinema.
I ordered a succulent leg of lamb with mint gravy. It was on a bed of soft mashed potatoes and shredded cabbage. Massive size portion with tons of meat!
He had some type of vegetarian burger with chips which he enjoyed.
Great taste and value for your money!
m. s.
Slow service on entry, staff busy chatting. Menu very poor. Chips that came with meal were by far and away THE WORST chips I have ever had from a restaurant. I had waited 25 mins after starter and didn't arrive at premier Inn until 9pm so could not bear the thought of waiting further. Will definitely try not to book again.
J. C.
10.30 am arrived, breakfast closed, bought unlimited hot drinks, had to use same cup. Ordered from the lunch menu, fish cakes with poached egg and hollandaise sauce with a large side salad, lovely food, well presented and a reasonable wait. We were asked to sit in the bar area as the main restaurant was being cleared from breakfast. Lovely open fireplace let down by a shabby ripped faux leather sofa at the side didn't compliment the rest of the decor.
a. t.
Good service and food was good as few issues but manager dealt with issues extremely well
K. F.
Third time lucky I thought, brewers Fayre menu which is much the norm, it's the premises that helps. I found once again as did my friends dining that it was like dining in a noisy childrens playground. Running around the tables throughout the restaurant. I'm not against children but when it's 9.00pm and the average ages is 3 to 7 and running between staff and customers 😕🏃it's waiting for a accident to happen. Food was OK.
W. W.
Went with grandkids aged 2 & 5 to let them loose on the indoor play equipment. Ordered food for kids. OK and reasonably priced. No option for snacks and lite bites for adults, only meals. £3 per child for entry to play area. Not the biggest structure, but good value and there is no pressure to buy food or drink, but is probably expected. Entry appears to be time limited at busy periods to 90 mins. Not sure if this is checked but kids do get a timed wrist band. Most people seemed to leave at the alloted time. Overall, decent equipment, good quality food and drink, all at a reasonable price. Recommended.
L. W.
Been here a few times as there is a ball pitt. It's family friendly, the menu is the same as all the other brewers fayre. The only downside is the ball pitt has varying closing times and after ordering food for the little one of the group, we were told we'd have to leave straight after because it closes at 6pm. It was 5.15pm.
K. L.
First time going to this place, went before going to see a film at Great Park on Sunday, waited to be seated for 10 minutes even though the staff were clearly there and may be saw us, we ordered at the bar because saw hardly any waiters around to take our order. There was also a long wait for food and when we were asked if we wanted any sauces etc to which we said yes none were brought to us (also none available around the restaurant otherwise I would have gotten them myself).
The food was nice we did both enjoy it just poor service from the staff. I'm not sure if this was because it was a Sunday?
j. k.
Lovely family lunch, to celebrate ❤️
J. J.
Popped in for breakfast unplanned as our original choice of venue unavailable. So glad we did, great service and food. Fantastic staff. Kids loved soft play area too. We'll be back
P. D.
Food was quick, drinks service was slow. They seem to struggle to take the orders quickly and could do with a little optimising.
Meal was OK. I don't think it was value for what I had.
Staff were friendly.
C. M.
Lovely staff, sam the manager was great with my children, food fast, hot and good value for money.
S. P.
Food was very nice but the description of the carvery is VERY misleading. 2 courses for 9.99 actually means soup and main. Ok that is 2 courses but if you're going to charge extra £2 for a sweet it would be honest to say soup and carvery for 9.99! Apart from running out of veg and a significant wait, and some surly staff it was fine.
T. S.
We went for a quick meal before the cinema at about 5 pm, we had not booked but we're greeted at the door and shown to a table, we saw lots of empty tables but we're given the impression we really should have booked.
The table for two was a good location well away from the bar and the kitchen. We were told to order at the bar.
I fancied liver and onions but sadly it was not on the menu, my partner ordered but we had not found a table number so she had to go
Back as they had guessed it wrong. The food came quite quickly and we were offers sauces, they came back to.chrck everything was ok. But as usual I had hardly started eating so could not say. My partner loved her fish pie and I had s chicken breast wrapped with bacon.
We both had soft drinks. I had a coffee afterwards,
The staff who served and cleared away were polite and friendly.
P. S.
Staff are very friendly and happy to help. The evening meal was wonderful. Make sure you use your Blue light card if you have one as you get 25% off main meals so it worked out we got a free meal 👍👍
P. H.
Xmas day dinner was very good. Excellent service by waiters and good choice of mains. The staff worked very hard. We will definitely be booking next year and thank you.
n.
Unfortunately food quality here just seems so inconsistent, so I don't eat here anymore. Good indoor play for kids. Well situated. My friend has her child's birthday party here every year.
A. P.
Very pleasant and attentive staff and reasonable menu choice, with well cooked and presented food.
Unfortunately the children's softplay area was closed for maintenance on the day of our visit, but crayoning sheets were provided by the staff which kept the grandkids occupied.
M. O.
We ate there the food was ok reasonable value for money staff friendly and polite
c. j.
Love the food here especially the chip shop platter
J. E.
My husband and I have visited these pubs in various places across the country with our 3 year old daughter and the food has always been nice, very reasonably priced and timely service. Staff have always been friendly, welcoming and efficient. Can't fault them...they do what they say on the tin!
s. d.
Lovely staff but please be aware sometimes your food may take a while. Always good food and a pleasant atmosphere. When something goes wrong they’ll do their very best to put it right.
C. B.
Good atmosphere. Relatively quiet. Pool table and other pub games. Good service.
J. “.
Great value and service but only a limited menu, the food was lovely. The only disappointment was a very rude customer come in behind us while we were waiting to be seated...
P. S.
My daughter, two grandsons and myself visited the Brewers Fayre yesterday 8th April.. The staff were very attentive, and made sure that we were fine with menus etc. We had two childrens menus, the children were given colouring books and crayons to amuse them which they liked. When their meals arrived the staff member told both boys to be very careful as the plates were hot, They thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We had Spinach Lasagne which we felt could not be bettered it was delicious. We also had two cokes for my daughter and I had a coffee at the beginning of the meal and one at the end. Both fresh and hot. We then went into the soft play area, again another very pleasant member of staff. Will we go back again? Of course we will. Well done to the staff of Brewers Fayre. *****

Candice , served our lot well including the pesty 8 x 10 year olds which was separate from the mums table , great smile and warm welcome , price not too bad there girls and moms had a fab time ,,, no complaints from any of us!

Ok food. Last time I ate here though i was sick afterwards. I think it's because they leave the food out once cooked and if it hasn't been eaten it can be there for ages. They do a all you can drink soft drinks for kids which is very good.
K. F.
Been here a few times and when the place is not so busy the service is good. Recently we went when there were a couple of large groups in and the service was awful. We were asked if we wanted desserts but it took them 40 minutes to take the order. By which time we had to leave for a film.
G. C.
Staff are brilliant and all ways come back
M. D.
Lovely to have something on the door step to take my grandchildren to play & eat
D. B.
We used the Dennis the menace play area and were happy with the service. Disappointed the 2 for £8.99 doesn't apply at weekends and a drink is not included in the child's menu price. Otherwise good all road eatery.
G. P.
Nice simple pub food. One of the better pubs of this type although the staff needed more organisation they didnt seem to know what they were doing or due to do. Half cleared tables then walk off, get drinks mixed up, empty glasses sat around the whole time we were there.
Sort the management of staff out and it will be much improved.
p. h.
It's ok for a Brewers Fayre but they are basic. For families looking for value & fun for the kids they are great, on a leisure park it's location is perfect for that market. Attached to a hotel? Well it was a late booking but it's a reason I avoid premier inns, just not suitable for that purpose.

Friendly efficient staff enjoyed the food
J. L.
Great food and excellent value for money
J. W.
Had a meal here with family on curry night ( Thursday) food was great and had full table service, help yourself to curry bar and food was great. Friendly and clean, kids loved the play area. Here again tonight for dinner
T. T.
Food was good and good price too.
Good child menu also. The tray on the high chair was also clean.
Theres a good soft play area inside and it looks new and clean.
C. S.
Food always good , plenty to choose from, good selection of kids meals fair prices, only downside not enough staff to deal with all customers, will still eat here again though.
M. W.
Food was amazing especially the chicken burger, kids loved the fact they had there own play area, and I was happy it only had one entry point as I didn't have to worry about the kids running through another exit.
S. C.
Service was very slow, we had to go and ask for our main course as sat for ages and nobody tended to us, however food was really lovely and hot when we finally got it. Felt as though staff couldn't be bothered.
M. R.
Just had one of the best carveries ever had a 2 course meal, with a lovely tomato soup to start with then a choice of beef, gammon or turkey with great accompaniments very tasty will definitely be goi g back again
J. x.
Good food quick service, kids love the soft play area, priced well too, think we paid £3 or 90mins play. Will definitely be back.

Only a three star from me for here unfortunately I had been coming here for many years and never had a problem .... ordered my food at the bar sat down only to be told “very sorry we don’t have the lasagna” (both me and my girlfriend ordered the same) so we reordered but I thought I’d add the 99p upgrade off the dish, I knew instantly by Megan’s reaction that she was willing to give me an upgrade for free the poor girl then had to come and inform me that she “was told she was unable to upgrade my 99p” this is no fault of Megan but clearly her manager not realising that a little goes a long way with customer satisfaction..... a pat on the back for Megan and consideration for customer service but poor show Megan’s manager poor show .... but what can I say the food still tastes good
S. V.
Average food, overpriced beer.
S. W.
The food is always good value. The downside to our visit was the arrival of a family with young children who sat at the next table despite the restaurant being empty at the time of our visit. They weren't naughty or noisy but didn't want to sit still, I find this off-putting while I'm trying to eat with youngsters scrawling all over the floor. It was early Eve evening so I won't visit at this time again.
F. S.
Okay atmosphere. Food is expensive. I had the chicken tikka, curry had a nice taste but was like soup, naan bread was rock hard, poppadom was full of oil but rice was okay.
H. T.
Food for party was ok. Staff were put under far too much pressure to deal with parties and people too lazy to keep their tables tidy or their kids under control (not the fault of staff).
K. I.
Well thought out for covid, food was hot and fresh and very tasty, 50% off makes it even more of a great day. Staff very polite and helpful.
Brilliant
s. g.
Great food, great service and good prices. Me and my family come here every year just before Christmas and love it! I come here with my friends quite often for birthdays and just for a nice lunch or dinner. I recommend it to everyone!
T. B. B. S.
Great for a Christmas dinner! 5th year on the bounce, food was bang on and the staff were very festive, friendly and were good with the kids. No complaints and look forward to next Christmas there 👌
m. s.
Family pub with friendly atmosphere. Plenty of tables and chairs for socialising and eating. There is a soft play area for young children and an adventure area with slides etc. for older children.
Large carpark at the back.
D. H.
The staff are so freindly and polite 😊 and the food is exceptional value for money large portions and the mixed grill is the best priced around by far. Child freindly also with the play area kiddies love it 😙
M. C.
Lovely Carvery, but lukewarm, otherwise would of had 5 Stars 🌟
l. A.
Superb food, friendly staff and quick service..actually we had an enjoyable evening..
The Manager, Debbie was fantastic and helped us out with our autistic daughter.
K. G.
Nice food and friendly staff. Wasnt crowded or busy on a hot day and didn't have to wait long for food
s. C.

E. D.
After slipping over on the floor (which was not wet), hurting my back, shoulder & hand. I was highly embarrassed as the pub was full so continued on to get my drink. FYI this was while on the way to the bar to get my 1st drink!! The girl behind the bar asked if I was okay, I told her what happened and only said "oh, sorry"! One of the customers that seen this happen told a member of staff and told her that I was the 8th person who has slipped on this part of the floor, inc. a chef who was hospitalised and they still haven't changed the floor. Due to the embarrassment I have left it but in a lot of pain! I will be making contact with the managed of the pub today to make a formal complaint!
L. D.
Good food, reasonable prices, fast service
M. O.
Main meals were good dessert was a little disappointing overall 3 star
M. R.
Not to bad but had to wait ages for the food to arrive need more staff at times even waiting for the drinks come on you are letting yourselves down.
d. e.
Party of 17, booked in nicely the week prior.all the food was nice, great menus and nearly all the meals at the same time, very pleased.like others have said , smokers hanging out side the front door ain't very nice when you have small kids and don't smoke either.but will deffo be back.thanks
R. B.
First visit to a Brewers Fare, was a pleasant surprise. Greeted and shown to a table by very friendly staff member. The food was reasonably priced with good options.
S.
Quick service, very friendly staff and great lunchtime specials menu.
c. a.
Really lovely food and polite staff. They also have a soft play for the children and special offers on meals during the week
W. W.
It has been a long time since I have had a hassle free meal, but that is exactly what I got today, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent.
Top marks.
A. F.
Very good Sunday carvery with good choice of vegetables and 3 meats. Very helpful for people with food allergies. I like the refillable self service Costa Coffee and other drinks machines. Very friendly staff
M. S.
Not to bad . You get what you pay for. The cleaning up side leaves something to be desired. The breakfast was the most enjoyable. Staff at breakfast were very good.
S. P.
Peas were really cold but gammom was good
G. T.
Great place. Lovely food with a large portion size. Good selection of mains and puddings. Had a brilliant time and would visit again. 👍
j. t.
Great food at really reasonable prices. The service is fast and the staff are very friendly and cheerful. Will definitely be going back again. ☺
C. J. G.
The meal was very good but it wasn't clean as we find some food on the floor and table was stick but on the whole the staff was helpful.
N. C.
Food was nice just a bit disappointing that sunday roast is only served till 5pm and no where online does it state that. This was our main reason for going
J. M.
Went for a child's birthday party in the play area. Very good staff. Had the full breakfast. Excellent
R.
Decent foods well when I say decent it's pretty dire however it's Birmingham so what do you expect half of the people don't even know how to cook some of the foods taste like my name flip flop so yea, in conclusion, you get what you get and stop complaining
J. A.
I do find the quality varies from venue to venue. Food here was a bit on the greasy side. Help yourself soft drinks (postmix) was extremely weak.
A. H.
Good food, varied menu, service not bad, chefs counter great value. Both food and service has improved greatly over the past 12 months...
l. d.
Great for breakfast it's a all you can eat too
I. B.
Average pub. Sticky tables and an average range of beers. 2 ales on tap, one wasn't working when I visited last night, Doombar and Black Sheep. On the plus side, it's a short walk from the IMAX cinema over the road and the staff are friendly enough.
A. J.
Great 2 for £8.99 deal Monday to Friday before 6pm but ran out of coleslaw on a meal that should come with coleslaw... Bit disappointed as I love coleslaw, but otherwise good deal and you get your monies worth...
s. T.
I absolutely love coming here great service and food I definitely will be keep coming here xx
M. G.
I have been here a number of times and the service and food has always been good. There is a play area for kids ( small charge) so it's ideal for families.
K. B.
Great breakfast going again soon
D.
Very good, nice snacks, friendly staff and nice play area for kids
k. r.
Had a nice meal with the Mrs smotherd chicken and a gammon with two eggs was lovely then had a cadburys pudding and a dirty mud pie ( that's what it was called it wasn't dirty ) would come again
L. H.
Food is ok if not a little slow on service for a quite time. And it was a bit cool in there.
P. R. L.
GREAT LOCAL ! Within walking distance we find this pub handy for our kids, and good pub food, tried the Sunday carvery for £10 which was well worth it !
R.
Good food and friendly staff..
M.
Excellent fresh food cooked to perfection, this place has improved slot, ps I had the Half Roast Chicken and Spare ribs.
R. N.
No problems here, table of 10 all served hot meals and at the same time. Food was also very good.
A. O.
Lovely friendly staff great ambiance...but you need to watch standards slipping....starters gujons on plain plate with no garnish and bit of dip......xmas dinner sprouts like bullets and yorkshire flat and hard ...desert dishes put on table..no plate under...just observation from a chef .......did complain but waitress apologised...thats it nothing done didnt see cook...as chef is bit posh for calling him......
L. M.
Food was great. The manager Hayley was lovely. Service good. Didn't have to wait too long for our food.
R. M.
Its' not a brilliant place. They didn't cook what's on the menu and the excuse was that they dont have any this followed with a request for a reduction in money and i was told "NO"
p. w.
Was a nice meal but over an hour to arrive. kids playing in beano play (1 1/2 session)so had to eat up quick when it finally arrived
S. W.
Breakfast Menu has been disappointing on last 2 vist's - 10:00 and very little food cooked & available - had to wait 5 mins for bacon!
N. H.
Rob Eye steak was fatty. My girlfriend had curry and her nann bread was not cooked. Did enjoy it though
K. D.
Food was tasty and fair priced, although my steak was overcooked, it didn't lack flavour The reasoning behind the 4 stars is, there was a lack of staff in the children's play area, one lady on the desk who kept wondering off, so when I had to order drinks, I would have to take both children, put their shoes back on and walk through the restaurant to the bar, it became frustrating
I. A.
Great food & My 3 year old grandaughter absolutely loved it. We will definitely go again, thank you.
G. B.
Relaxed family pub, with a nice atmosphere. Good food and with a 40% off voucher, gave us cheap and enjoyable meal, with a nice pint of becks.
M. L.
We went for soft play for my grandchildren and something to eat which was good.reasonally priced around 12.00 am and a week day
J. P.
Great food, reasonable prices and the wait times are never that bad. Staff are friendly and helpful also.
T. O.
Quiet and reasonably priced food. Friendly staff.
A. M.
This is a good pub I have been to a few times. Food was great and the selection of beers is ok (unfortunately not any real ales though).
E. J.
Modern pub with lots of amenities (kids area, loyalty scheme). Loses two stars due to reuqired upkeep (cupboard doors falling off) and average food.
n. o.
Nice and quiet, reasonable food menu, well presented and tasty. Limited selection of beers beyond 5 types of lager
M. N.
Polite and friendly staff, the large festive meal wasn't up to much could have had better veg, but otherwise all good
K.

K. J.
It was welcoming, clean and tidy and the food was beautiful, the staff were very friendly, well worth a visit.
M. C.
Excellent breakfast, 10 out of 10 to the chef Camden, highly recommended this place great customer service and excellent quality
T. B.
Good food but poor service. Bar ordering does not make for a pleasant experience
D. H.
Average,no decent beer,food overcooked
P. G.
Very lovely meals, not 5 stars because there are messy places that don't get cleaned up, also getting attention when you come in, getting served and trying to pay the bill, can be problematical.
M. M.
The new Manager Richard could not have done more you ensure we had a positive dining experience thank you Richard
J. G.

Great food. The team were really nice. Will come again .
L. M.
Just had a superb tea out with my daughter at the brewers fayre lovely food and drinks and the staff are so friendly
M. H.
The only thing that's confusing is there's a sign when you walk in to wait to be seated and most the time the member of staff sees you waiting and looks at you like why are you waiting there and comes to tell you to sit where you like apart from that the staff are really friendly and it's a nice place to eat and let the little one go play after
S. F.
First visit for a while, it has reverted back to ordering food at the bar instead of waiter service , had a nice meal not too generous with portions though .
F. M.
Great food and service! Thank you xx

J. H.
