My first time at Chaophraya and I would definitely return. It seemed busy for a Monday. The food was tasty, all my party loved their meals. I thought the portions were good, I even had some to take home. Three of us shared a sharing platter which definitely had enough to go around and such a great variety.

Very busy on a Saturday. So booking needed. Our waitress was very polite and the food was good. I wouldn't say it was great but definitely OK and prices are not too bad, they also give nhs discount which is great. The pic is of the tamarind duck.

Food was amazing, we shared one of the set menus, was all served hot and fresh. Portion sizes are generous also. Had a ring of fire cocktail which was also really good. Only negative was we requested the leftover food be boxed to go but instead they threw it away. They did apologise and gave us some money back. Will defo be returning in the future.

Very nice Thai food and the staff was really kind. The prices are normal for this type of restaurant. We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the prawn and pineapple fried rice. They gave us and a piece chocolate in the end :). Good atmosphere, very quiet.

This was my first visit to one of these restaurants, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!! From the Pork Skewer & Thai Fish cake starters, to the Chicken/ King Prawn Pad Thai mains, this was a really enjoyable, and tasty meal. The one thing that let it down was the lack of any draught lager. I wanted to try the Thai lager, but it wasn't available. All I was offered as an alternative was a bottled beer, which was less volume, and almost as pricy. Staff were friendly, but a little too keen. Would have preferred them to have left us a little longer to decide what we wanted to eat & drink. Even when it came to the bill, they were wanting us to pay before we were ready. I suspect that was because they wanted to leave (even though not due to close yet!). Having said the above, I loved the food, and will definitely be returning at some stage.

Highly recommend. Food was delicious, well flavoured and good portions also. Decor was pretty and staff were super friendly and accommodating. Prices were decent also.

Went for a date here & it was a lovely experience. Greeted warmly upon arrival and we were seated upstairs. Prawn tempura for starters and lamb curry & fried rice for main absolutely lovely. The lamb was tender and the curry was infused with a many flavours that went well together. Very nice

Chaophraya and its wonderful staff never fail to impress. Fantastic food and fantastic service in the perfect location, though they often get overlooked. Not only do they cater to all tastes but the staff are polite, extremely attentive and charming above all else. I could not rate them highly enough.
