Amazing service, amazing food and amazing drinks. The portion size was very good and the food tasted fresh and full of flavour. The mojito's were nice also, not amazing but satisfying enough. Seating downstairs isn't the best to be honest. Food service time was very good also. They took the initiative to take our orders first while we waited for an empty table to help reduce the wait time which was very good. Would definitely recommend.

The presentation was nice and very appealing to the eye but the taste is like any other takeout place. I feel the prices were quite high for what we had. Good portion sizes though. Lamb chops were the highlight of the evening, the rest of the food was okay aswell. Just seemed very rushed and disorganized in there, lots of people stood by the entrance, the door kept opening, this made it cold inside the restaurant. Maybe a better waiting system is needed. Pina colada was nice but the mojitos are a bit overpriced at £6.50!

Excellent experience at Chickaroos, the food was amazing good quality, good prices and good amount. Travelled from London to eat here for my partners birthday and this will definitely be our new favourite spot which I will return to. The decor was beautiful, very classy and not to forget the experience was 10/10. We was served by a gentleman called ammo who made sure that we was satisfied with the food and whole experience. Was totally blown away as it was a visit based on Instagram pictures. Portion and taste of the food was amazing. The staff were also really nice and helpful and even showed us their amazing space to get photos taken. Sadia was our server and she was really kind and helpful. Would totally recommend.

I went on a Friday night with a few friend. It was busy already by 7 but staff managed to get us seated quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that the food came out quickly considering how busy they were. It tasted good, the mojitos were great too, I got the passion fruit one as recommended by staff and it was a good choice. The customer service was great, especially by Sadia, as often places forget about customers seated upstairs but all in all it was a good experience and I’d go back again.

Had THE best experience dining at Chickaro’s on Ladypool road. The food, the atmosphere, the customer service. Literally everything was on point. We ordered Lamb chops and the dynamite prawns for starters and it literally made my mouth water just looking at it, and the taste was divine!! The kebabish was also great and so packed with flavour. And we had the “Blue Lagoon” drinks, which were incredible! The customer service goes above and beyond, every person who worked there made us feel so welcome and were constantly checking if we were okay. Thanks to Ammo and Ali for the experience! Brilliant experience. Great atmosphere inside.The portion sizes were titanic. The food in general tasted excellent. I had the Chicago chicken fillet burger with fries and salad and coleslaw. I don't have a clue what they did to the fries but they're the best fries I've ever tasted. The dynamite prawns were succulent and tasty. My friend ordered lamb chops as well as Mac&Cheese and he said he was really impressed. The staff were extremely friendly as well and Ammo provided us with some great customer service. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Birmingham.

Some of my friends didn't recommend this place so I avoided it, but one of my other friends wanted to try it because her family recommended Chickaro's, so I was 50/50. The decor was nice, can get very busy and your waiting on a table in front of everyone dining which is abit awkward, the food was actually decent! My hot shot chicken parm wasn't really hot at all, so I was pretty disappointed in that, but was nice. My friend loved her loaded parm, we ordered some fries on the side and the fries I really enjoyed I could've just ate that as a main lol.. Starter the lamb chops were okay I would've liked them to be more flamin hot than sweet, the loaded nachos, it was a huge portion ma mate couldn't finish but she did like it, it had donner, mince meat and jalapeño with melted cheese, tried some and it was nice.. I felt as though some of the boys who work upstairs need to cheer up abit more, the manager is very friendly and has good customer service skills put it that way. I do feel the place is on the pricier side. They take cash only, you can do bank transfer to the manager but the reception there is so bad it takes forever to do, however the manager then suggested to connect to their internet,.... if the staff told us this earlier we wouldn't have been waiting around for so long.

I came here with a friend. We started off with a pina colada and raspberry daiquiri which were soo nice and thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. These were made by our lovely waitress Sadia who looked after us really well. She made sure we had everything we needed. For starters we got a platter for two which was very nice. For mains, we had the hotshot Parmesan as it’s really popular, salmon and also mac and cheese. The Parmesan tasted okay but a bit of a let down given how hyped it was. However, the salmon was really delicious and would highly recommend. It comes with mash and vegetables which were lovely. The Mac and cheese wasn’t good tbh. Overall, the food is good but it’s the service that makes this place stand out. I would return here

For some people they would love the food on offer and to be fair it's probably excellent without the multitude of dripping sauces that are added to give a variety of flavours. I just wish they had stated that the meals come loaded with sauce. Be better if the customer has a choice to add as needed. Services was excellent and staff were very polite and professional.

Couldnt find the menu online so thought id upload onto here after visiting. Huge varied menu and excellent food! Cool smoke dish on the table. Manager was so lovely and so were staff (however we were disturbed every minute in our meal to ask how it was which was annoying but its a new restaurant so they are just finding their feet...). Felt like staff were pushy to make us order sides and drinks (£6.50 mojitos) and got our order completely wrong on the receipt (added 4 extra sides / starters) so make sure to check your receipt before paying!! Would be better if there was some more co-ordination in the staff to which tables have been asked how they find their food / have been asked if they want to order yet because we had literally sat down for a minute and were asked if we would like to order. But food was 8/10 and overall staff & manager were lovely.

The food is sooo good! Fast service and polite staff. The restaurant is a lovely place with nice decor throughout located at the top of ladypool Road next door to chaiiology. Ordered The Boston which was delicious 😋 paid the extra £1 for their special sauce that they offer on the fries and that was worth it, the burger itself was juicy and flavoursome. My friend got the parmesan with rice which I had a taste of which was also so tasty - I'll be ordering that next! Recommend!

Really good food with very big portions. Service was amazing from all the staff especially ifrah(I think that was yur name and how yu spell it). She had a really good vibe and my 10 month old quickly became her friend and didn't want let go of her apron 😂😂. Very well decorated especially the bathroom. Amazing food and service. Went today for Lunch had the new steak platter which said served 2-3 people but would say serves more like 4-5 loads of meat. Every piece of meat had a different flavour and was cooked perfectly. All Sides were delicious specially liked the signature fries. We also ordered the fish platter as we had 6 people. The prawns were amazing great flavour and just the right amount of spice. Over all we had a great experience would highly recommend and can’t wait for our next visit. First time coming here and it was a good place to eat. had the kebabish mania and it's like 4/5 quid more than the normal kebabish but I don't know why, you get 3 small pieces of chicken extra not worth the extra money. Also it would be appreciated if you tell people that it's cash only at the start as its such a pain in the backside to have to find an ATM in the end, besides I don't know why a card machine isn't available it's such a standard thing to have. We got Chickaros Loaded Steak and The Parmo Steak. Good flavours and massive portions. But they forgot the Kebabish on the Chickaros Loaded steak, I didn’t realised until after 😑. There was a young waiter who was really good and was attentive. The atmosphere was nice, we went for lunch so it wasn’t really busy but they had a bad habit of letting songs play and half way through they kept changing them, like just let it play. Now what really annoyed me was they don't accept card payment. Now it's almost 2022. What possible excuse could you have for not accepting card payments and making me go to a cashpoint and cash out? I wonder. It's a shame because I probably wont return due to this inconvenience.

The customer service here is the reason that I keep coming back. Staff are amazing honestly really friendly and talkative. Food is delicious especially parmesan chicken. Only thing I would say is there should be a smaller portion option. Drove from wales to try this restaurant. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant the service was absolutely outstanding! The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Overall, the food was delicious, service was great (waiters checking up and assisting when needed) Music was loud but the workers were happy to turn it down. The mojitos are worth a try. The prices are reasonable, as the portion sizes are large. We didn't have the desserts, but we will be back and will give the desserts a try too. Was recommended by my friends so decided to come for my mums birthday meal. The restaurant was so busy and they queues were so long but everything was dealt with politely and efficiently. Once seated out orders were taken promptly and food arrived within 20 minutes. We had the hoshot parmesan kebabish mania and Cheeto burger all of which were recommended. They were well worth every penny as the food was absolutely delicious. The service was great and I couldn’t ask for anything more. The staff were helpful and the manager was watching over us too. Fries were covered in a nice cheesy sauces and burger was cooked well, very juicy. The milkshakes was a little too sweet for my liking and not thick. My sister ordered the Kebabish which was donner and fries with a great naga spice. Very flavourful but not overly spicy. I would recommend this if you are a fan of naga. Heard some mixed reviews about this place, so went with the Mrs to check it out. First of the gentlemen serving us (Ammo) was very friendly and accommodating, I asked specifically for a recommendation as I hadn't been there before, so got the mix kebabish and chicken parmesan, I have to say it was really impressive. I didn't have to drench the chips or meat in the sauce as it already had the juices of the meat soaked into the chips, very soft and tender, the donner meat wasn't greasy, it tasted lean similar GDK with plenty of flavour and spice. The parma was just on point... Crispy, tender and cheesey, would definitely recommend trying these two, the portion is VERY generous in fact we had to pack some up towards the end! All this was complimented with mojitos (strawberry & passion fruit), glad it wasn't just full of ice like many places I've been to and the concentrate was on point. The decor was nice.. Urban dinner type and the food was nicely presented. All in all quality food, good people and great vibes, would definitely recommend checking it out, we will be returning soon!

Cutlery was dirty and not cleaned properly. Sitting space is slightly tight but service was good (one of male workers in particular was really helpful , I didnt get his name). The cajun chicken steak was really nice and probably one of the best steak I have tried. The portion size was perfect aswell . Greeted at the door by a waitor, asked if we could sit upstairs and were told no because unless it's full downstairs they don't seat upstairs. Food took 50 mins to come out, but was lovely. Asked 3 different waitors for a side plate for my 2yr old all 3 of them didn't come back with a plate so whilst we are starting to eat my child didn't have a plate for his food to be given to him. One of the waitresses who took the order was rude dumped all food on the table and just walked off. Repeatedly asked me to repeat each item I was ordering and then whirling her eyes. Forgot to give the childrens drinks. No customer service skills at all. However the 3 stars is for the very friendly guy behind the counter who made sure a plate was given once i got up and asked for it and told him i had asked three times. Also apologised for no drinks. There are also no signs advising it is cash only. Customer service needs to be worked on. Food was great if you dont mind waiting.
