Food was beautiful to look at and to eat. The staff couldn't have done any more nothing was too much. I had an issue with the chicken and it was sorted stealth away. The stake was soft, juicy and very tasty a perfect medium rare 👌 would dine here again without a second thought

When we visited Cote we had a little problem with mussels,it was not fresh but Chef friendly changed it for another food. Recommend and wish only best wishes …. Walked out of Marco Pierre White' place as they were more concerned with serving a huge wedding party and ignored us. So we found Coto which made us most welcome and served us a delicious steak dinner and excellent wine. Friendly and helpful staff ( Marco Pierre White take note!!). Loved this place and will return.

Had a really lovely experience here, not usually one to leave reviews but felt it was necessary. Really nice lady with reddish hair kindly fitted us in. Food was amazing! especially the French onion soup. Our child has ADHD and was very tired this day, Special thanks to our waitress Beth who took the time despite being busy to give him love and attention, helped him choose his food and calmed him right down. It was so heartwarming to see him treated like any other child rather than a problem. He ate all of his food quietly which is an eating out first for us, she came over and chatted to him on several occasions encouraging him to finish up. We will definitely be back with our extended family!

Well, it's Cote, so (thankfully) the food and drinks are the same. However, this was better than standard, because the staff were very lovely, and they have outdoor seats (with heaters) and a veiw of the canal (which has been cleared of shopping trolleys and rats - both of which were plentiful when I was last walking around here in many moons ago - before "gentrification") :)

The atmosphere of restaurant is quite nice, and the staff is friendly and cares about customer feeling. My steak is too chewy and they replace it and give me a new one. It is better but still not good enough. The price is acceptable and there are weekend special and can choose set.

Having my anniversary meal here was the best choice I could have possibly made. When my partner and I walked in, we were quickly and warmly welcomed by Matt, the manager. We explained that we had dietary requests and from that moment he gave us extra care when dealing with each meal we were to be served. The waiters were polite and attentive, and gave us an experience in which we expect to be given at a Michelin star restaurant. Through me mentioning to the waiter that I would have liked to have flowers set out for my partner when we arrived and over the phone, this option was currently unavailable, the waiter without us asking and unexpectedly returned to us after our meal with a bottle of Prosecco and a card, which made my partner laugh uncontrollably due to the surprise, but more specifically it was the extra effort that was put in that made the whole dinner worthwhile. My partner and I couldn't help but smile at the service we were provided, especially due to the fact that we had our dinner on New Year's Eve - the busiest day of the year for the restaurant - and we still had a choice of which table we could sit on without having to wait to be seated. Overall the experience was romantic and beautiful, so much so that my partner and I have made it a tradition that each New Year's Eve, we will return to Côte Brasserie to celebrate our anniversary once again. Thank you to all that were responsible for the service we were given and for those looking for a place with highly attentive staff and a wonderful service, I recommend coming here.

We came here got breakfast, and wow! Glad we did. My husband ordered the English Breakfast and I had the French. Both were excellent. There was a wide spread of meat, bread, and jams, and the addition of a juice and hot beverage was excellent. Though not cheap, this breakfast feel like a great value for the amount of food. I highly recommend it for a big brunch.

Overall the price is decent, and the service is nice. The starter I had was salad with Roquefort. Honestly, I am not a big fan of Roquefort and the scent was way too strong than I expected, plus the salad was bitter. The main course I had was ribeye steak, and it was ok, the meat was tender inside. My friend had another steak, and I don’t know which cut of beef is that. The meat was too chewy, and after reflecting to the waiter, they replaced a new one to her right way, which was a very nice service. The new one was better, and I think the main reason for that is because the nature of that cut of beef. The dessert was nice, and I loved how the hot chocolate combined with vanilla ice cream. I think the overall interior design and service were really nice, while the food wasn’t as good as I expected.

Had to speak to the manager! His name is Tom bybthe way. So, aswell as serving on the floor i need to start by saying what a top gent he is. And how fantastic his team was tonight for my wifes 30th Birthday. They realy went the extra mile, greeting her with a welcome birthday cocktail, taking us to a tastefully decorated table for 9 that i had booked. And providing us with a gluten free menu and highchair that i had also requested. . The decorations where a suprise and sp was the card and box of chocolates for my wife they had left for her. Didnt miss a beat! This is how its done! Service was smooth prompt and relaxingly profesional and the food? Wow. It came out fresh hot and delicious! (As usual might i add) Clean plates all round for all 3 courses. Duck confit epic and even on the ''fix prix menu'' Cold filtred water for the table was kept filled without asking and wait staff stayed attentive all night. Excellent restaurant with a lovely ambience. I was so pleased to come across it whilst visiting Birmingham and looking for somewhere to have breakfast. Staff at the door where very welcoming and friendly and returned during the meal to ask how I was enjoying it or if I wanted anything else. I had a veggie breakfast and it was delicious, especially he veggie sausage. It was a real change from the typical veggie breakfast elsewhere. Can't wait to return.

Orange juice is freshly-squeezed Orange juice, coffee is strong and as coffee lovers, we truly enjoyed it. My friend and I had a lovely relaxed lunch at Cote today. We choose the fixed price 3 course lunch menu which offered us a good selection for each course. Food was delicious (especially the dark chocolate pot) and the service was friendly and attentive and we were able to sit and chat in peace once we had our post lunch coffee and tea. Great setting for this restaurant, with some outdoor seating in the nice weather and a large, well decorated interior too. We were in a fairly large group but they managed to accommodate us easily and the table wasn’t cramped at all. Everything was clean and the welcome we got from the staff, as well as the service throughout, was superb. The menu will of course be familiar if you’ve been to the chain before but as usual everything was served beautifully and on the whole was really tasty. The steaks were a little overdone to how they had been ordered but everything arrived in good time and without keeping anyone in the group waiting. Throughout, the staff were attentive at keeping drinks topped up and the bottles of tap water was a nice touch. The delight of this place is the level of service and personal touch from the staff, as well as being right on the waterfront. For a slightly more upmarket option in the area I’d certainly return, although it’s not the cheapest.

An easy 5 star experience here. Book a table but because its a little hidden you can chance just turning up. The food is outstanding. Really high quality. The service is exceptional and its right next to the canals too so it adds to the atmosphere. A great place to eat with family and friends. Ive been several times now and have been really impressed. I attended Cote Brassiere on the 31t January with my sister and cousin. My cousin recommendd this restaurant. I have to say everything was on point, exceptional customer services from Ricardo, friendly and quick service. Always checking on us to see if we are alright. The food was tasty and hot, compliments to the chef and other staff members who also was helpful. I had to praise Ricardo to he's manager, I don't know he's manager name but he was a nice man. I definately will be back and recommended this restaurant to family and friends, as it's so relaxing and calm inside, wonderful atmosphere, great customer service and fabalous customer service, which can be hard to come across sometimes. Ricardo and to staff members at Cote Brassiere who also attened our table, thank you for your outstanding service, keep up the good work.

Was better two years ago. Their tipping mechanism is not good. Not only do they add a 10% service charge that isn't even a tip that goes to your waitress or waiter. Make sure you cancel that ans give direct if you feel the service was decent.

I'm a fan of Côte, it's the kind of place you can go to and get premium services, where the waiters really care about your experience and are happy to accommodate you but without having to pay premium prices or have that stuffy feeling. It's somewhere you can go for a nice date night or family meal and maybe dress up for the occasion but still feel you can be yourself and not worry about any faux pas. Each time I've been the food has been very well prepared, I have not had to wait long for food to arrive and it has been very tasty. Especially lovely on a summers night as you can sit alongside the canal. Bon appetite!

I normally often go to Cote Brasserie when away for work due to the consistently good quality and service, but the Birmingham branch tonight has disappointed me. Mussels were quite dry and my rump steak came well done rather than the medium rare I asked for. So although I will probably be going back in other cities such as Manchester and Chelmsford, I am not so sure about this particular location.

we did not drop in but pre booked a table to make sure. theres loads of space for people to drop in. we had a lunch here and it was brilliant, the duck and the fish were perfectly cooked and made a special day extra special. the staff were superb and very helpfull and very well trained and made sure we had a great meal. I thought to get food this perfect you really needed to be the otherside of the channel. instead its on my door step in Birmingham, Bravo tot he management who are really setting an extreamly high standard of service and food. the bread was to die for matched equally with the olives

After a lot of research, we chose Cote because they offered by far the best Gluten Free menu I could find anywhere in Birmingham. They go the extra mile to provide a fine and extensive choice that doesn't make you feel that, as a Coeliac, you are just being tolerated. Chicken Liver Parfait, Baked Crottin, Fish Parmentier with Braised minted peas plus Breton Fish Stew with Creamed Spinach and Creme Caramel (on the recomendation of the lovely Sola).
