This place is a must. Think I may have found the best grilled food in Brum. The meat is so succulent, cooked using charcoal no gas here! Great evening with the family in a unique venue! Holiday vibes on our doorstep!

The food, service, and atmosphere here were all outstanding. The Fillet Steak was of a standard I've not had outside of Portugal! A real hidden gem for Bearwood that we'll definitely be frequenting again!

Was fabulous. The steak was most memorable. Could still taste after we left. As for the cocktails. Thanks Nathaniel. Were do we start.. this is going to be our new place to dine . Dogun was a great host. Nothing was missed. He certainly made our experience memorable. So was the young lady who was on shift. Sorry never asked her name. As for the commanding officer who showed me upstairs. Was very inviting. As a connoisseur of fine food, one would recommend this establishment. Compliments to the chef!! Well done!!!!!! Shelly x

Lovely evening at a beautiful and friendly restaurant. We are very lucky to have places like this in Bearwood. The steak was delicious, the calamari was the best I’ve had in a long time and the service was fantastic. So glad we went on a rainy and cold Sunday night. My family and I had a fantastic meal there yesterday (Fri 3rd June 2022). Each of us had steak, I had the 20oz T Bone cooked medium rare. . . . it was delicious. We also had starters those too were delicious. We finished off with baked cheesecake and homemade Tiramisu (non alcoholic version) . . . my Tiramisu was delicious and I was told the cheesecake was delicious too, all generous portions. Every piece of food was fresh and cooked just right. The environment is spacious and comfortable with nice background music being played. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for your warm hospitality and great food, we wish you continued success.

Lovely setting in converted 19th century factory buildings set back from the main road, stunningly refurbished with stained glass, decorative tiling and artistic panelling very fitting for Birmingham and the Black Country. Food freshly prepared, lovely staff and some excellent music sessions coming up. Can't comment on the prices as I only went for the music. Would love to go again.

Visited De La Vies for my partner's 40th birthday and the staff did everything to make it special. The food was good, the staff were excellent, decor was beautiful and we really enjoyed our experience. Would definitely recommend for steak lovers.

I visited De la Vies with my family shortly after they opened. We instantly knew we'd have a great meal as we entered; a lovely welcome, very tasteful decor and a warm buzzing atmosphere. As we expected, the food was fantastic! Special mention goes to the dry-aged steak, quality was sublime. Would definitely recommend!!
