R. Y.We decided to try this after a recommendation and it did not disappointing.
The place was clean and inviting, staff were attentive enough and the toilets were clean.
The brisket nachos were amazing, I would go back just for them. The kids loved the burgers. Overall really good experience. Will definitely be back.
H.Really great food place. I got the "Juicy Lucy American" Burger which had cheese in the burger patty! The food is really good quality and is presented really well when served. I've also had food delivered to me from here and the packing of it is really cool and quirky.
The decor inside is really nice with a contemporary as well as vintage feel. Toilets are very clean, smart and bright inside.
Its also nice to have the whole kitchen open in open view in front of customers as they wait for food which also shows the high standards the place has because they are transparent with all the food being cooked on site. I was also told that EVERYTHING is made in house which is excellent and that's why the quality of the food is of a high standard.
Pizzas are thin based and stone baked. They are very authentic and not heavy like other pizzas. I got a pizza with brisket as the topping.
Would highly recommend whether you eat in or take out. Probably one of the best burger joints in Birmingham.
Y. M.Really nice food, and fairly priced. We had the classic burger and the Cajun chicken burger, which were both nice and well presented. We also had a dessert; cheesecake, nice dessert although I ordered extra ice cream as I didn't realise the dessert came with ice cream, please mention this in the menu. Otherwise all good, and definitely will visit again and try out the other items on the menu.

Ordered two Juicy Lucy burgers:

Both had nice chunky meaty burger meat. However the Milano did have good flavour to eat along with the cheese oozing out.
Unfortunately the Philly didn't live up to the same standards.
The chickens were decent and so was the pizza. Not badly priced either

(Before digging in to the review.... THEY HAVE PARKING!!)
My verdict? What a great place.
The service was impeccable from the moment we stepped in. Really polite, attentive and warm natured staff. Great menu with different options and A PROPER KIDS MENU!!
The burgers were fantastic and made a really refreshing change from a smash burger. Proper juicy, big patty, great bun and presented really well.
We ordered kids beef burgers for the little ones which were amazing, they loved them. Even the pizza was really good.
Buffalo wings were perfect, but for me the stars of the sides were the Cola Wings.... Yes cola wings! Sweet, sticky and just delicious.
Genuinely can't think of a single negative about this place at all. Defo give it a visit if you haven't yet.
Perfect for date night, perfect for a lads or girls night out... And a brilliant place to take little kids out too (try the milkshakes).

P. S.I visited Dough and bun today. The atmosphere was very nice and clean.The staff was welcoming and the service was prompt and attentive. I ordered Roasted Garlic Veg and Spicy Chicken pizza which was served with garlic mayo and house special sauce. The pizza crust was thin and crispy which I really enjoyed. However, I think its little pricey, but worth a try. Highly recommended!!

Review:
A really great place for pizzas, burgers, and real hearty food. The place serves a completely halal menu with 0 alcohol.
The quality is very good, the kitchen is open and you can see the staff as they prepare the food. I like the cleanliness of the kitchen as well as the eating area.
We got very good service. The waiters are attentive but not disruptive. I was asked after the meal for feedback in a nice and not pushy manner, because clearly the waiters and managers care and want returning customers. I was honestly very pleased with the service, and am surprised at some very edge-case reviews. By-and-large people are in agreement with me and the staff are actually friendly, helpful and genuinely care.
The music was really great. It wasn't too loud, there were some nice old-school tracks but the playlist was selected with caution, avoiding offensive and overtly "gangster" music.
The prices were good, reasonable and fair. I don't think it's overpriced overall, but I'm comparing to a couple of other places I've been to which offered just as good food at cheaper prices. On balance, I say "fair" because of the other praises I have for the place.
The atmosphere, whilst overall pretty great, I'd just comment on the temperature. Whenever the main door opened, the area we happened to be seated in was flooded with the outside cold. The air-con would take about 5 minutes to bring the temperature back up to pleasant. You don't need to hike up the temperature on the air-con, because that would make it unpleasantly warm, but you do need to keep the door shut more, and perhaps this affects one side of the restaurant more than the other?
I bought my mum and sister here (a couple of weekends ago, so my review is a little late). I was looking for a decent place for family and this really ticked the box. It's a place you can bring family and friends and feel comfortable not being surrounded by other noisy families or rowdy parties of lads/girls, as is sadly becoming increasingly common in Pakistani eateries.
Looking forward to coming again.

H. A.I visted this establishment for the second time in three weeks and it is really one of the best burger spots I've been to.
The variety of burgers and pizzas means there's something for everyone. I tried the Americano during my last visit and it didn't disappoint. The burger was flavoursome and the Cajun fries were well seasoned. My siblings also enjoyed their food. The buffalo wings were packed with flavour both the standard and Korean buffalo wings. Drinks are serves in glass bottles which is always a nice touch.
The price was reasonable for a gourmet burger and the location has car parking.

On a negative point we felt the tables were a bit sticky and needed a further clean. That did not distract from an excellent meal and we will return.

J. H.Went there yesterday with some friends. I had a burger and a pepperoni pizza, and had a chat with the manager afterwards.
I've probably only had one pizza in Rome outside the Pantheon which may have topped it. The bread was rich and fine, not soggy, and the pepperoni was thin, generous and flavorsome.
Burger was simply set but delicious. I thought it was perfect with the right amount of spices.
A wholesome place that's not loud, that's well looked after with pleasant staff.
H. M.We ordered from Dough and Bun through Just Eat on a friday evening and the order arrived within half an hour. I ordered the big beef burger which I thought was very nice and my husband ordered the hot chilli chicken burger which was okay. The burger bun itself was quite dry (I think replacing the existing buns with brioche buns would definitely improve this and make the burgers more gourmet). The fries were fairly good but the signature sauce that came with it was quite bland and lacking in flavour. We also ordered cola wings which I thought were quite tasty but not amazing. Also, adding pineapple slices as an optional extra or in a set burger would be a nice addition to the menu. I did enjoy my meal but I dont think I would rush back for it anytime soon. This place is fairly new though, so I would be up for trying it again in a few months to see if it has improved.

I. H.Went here on a Sunday evening, a friend of ours recommended it to us, loads of parking so thats a big plus, the inside nice and spacious, nice booths and tables. Music a big plus great taste who ever the DJ is keep them don't ever let them go. The mocktails good size, taste good to. I had the pizza which they let you go up to the chef and calmly pick whatever you want which is great, no stinginess with the ingredients. My friends ordered burgers which came promptly with the pizza. I read some of the other reviews and could only laugh. The food is great, we enjoyed the food, the staff were polite, checking up on us to make sure we was ok if we needed anything. I like this place will be sure to return and recommend and more importantly if you guys ever need any tint work, your welcome at midnight tints.

Least Favourite: To be honest we loved everything, but be careful with Relish as my wife is expecting she is put off by strong smells like BBQ, but loved the taste of the burger.

Z. A.I had the chilli cheese burger from the juicy lucy menu and it was brilliant, gives truburger a run for their money. Why this place was not packed I don't know, excellent chips and great sauce. Pizzas (margherita & ultima pepperoni) were excellent and devoured in minutes. Mrs Z had a 'normal' beef burger and loved it and believe me she's fussy. Will go again soon.

I ordered the fried chicken burger and although the fillet was on the thin size, it was very nice - definitely one of the best chicken burgers I've had to date! The skin on fries were mediocre. But for me the letdown was the margherita pizza which was very disappointing. With utmost respect, I felt like I had been served a frozen supermarket-style pizza. But that's just my opinion. Re dessert, I'm glad I ordered the praline and hazelnut cheesecake which was very rich and creamy. Service was amazing! - the waiter kept returning to ensure everything was okay and gave us plenty of dips upon request!

I have never been to a food place with such amazing customer service, the staff here make it feel like home, they’re the most genuine humble brothers. The food is also faultless, it’s always made fresh and the quality has never dropped since day one. I genuinely never get my pizzas from anywhere else and I always look forward to my next visit ❤️
T. I.Went this evening. Ordered 3 burger meals and a pizza. Pizza was good, flavoursome, thin and crispy however, the burgers were terrible. Worst burger I've had in a while. Especially for premiums prices. The patties were thick although overcooked and very dry. No juices running out from them. The patties in my opinion actually tasted of nothing. Dry and slightly chewy. If it wasn't for the sauce in the burger I don't think I would have been able to eat it. I see other good reviews. Maybe it was just a bad day on this occasion. Premium burger outlets in my opinion should be consistent in quality. I have given 3 stars as the pizza was good. Burgers max 2 stars.

It was refreshing to dine somewhere with amazing food and enjoyable atmosphere for kids and adults alike. We were all blown away with our meals (2 types of burgers and 2 types of pizzas). Both so flavourful. The young employee who had greeted us and the chef were both very attentive and did all they could to tend to our needs..they both went the extra mile which we very much appreciated so thank you both. The food was served promptly - we went for the Juicy Lucy's for my wife and I and a pizza for my son. The beef burgers were really well made.... not your frozen kind but proper hand made stuff in excellent soft buns. The pizza was thin crust and low spice for kids. All in all a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

The bun was freshly prepared and did not automatically fall off which you usually get with low quality buns with the sauces. The interior was of a typical burger joint but with an open plan kitchen which is different as you can see the process of your meal being made. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely visit again!

1. 1.Best pizza I've had in the UK.
Came here a few days ago whilst over visiting family.
On arrival we were seated quickly by very friendly staff.
Went as a group of 4 and ordered burgers and pizzas.
Burgers were mediocre we ordered a chicken burger grilled and also a juicy lucy beef burger, the flavours were OK but nothing blew me away here and wasn't a fan of the style of bun either.
The garlic bread and two pizzas we ordered on the other hand were amazing, probably the best pizza I've eaten so far! 5 out of 5.
Nice fresh and perfect bite to the the base I will certainly be back they also have a great selection of toppings.
Mocktail could do with a spruce up on the taste front it was nice but was missing something.
Ample parking at front and very friendly and attentive staff, place is very clean nice chilled atmosphere with comfortable seating.
Price point was good only lost out on 5 stars due to the burgers, will try a fried chicken burger instead and maybe a classic beef burger next time also.
They haven't been open long but I have no doubt these guys will be super busy with the amazing service and great tasting pizza they have here.
S. R.Ordered the Big Cheese and korean burger yesterday inc a kids chicken burger. The burgers smelt amazing and both tasted really really good. Definitely one of my favourites so far. The gentleman who took my phone order was very polite and courteous, and equally as polite when I went to pick up the order. The only part of my food that let me down was the BBQ wings. In my opinion it lacked seasoning and the BBQ flavour. However, I will still go back and order again as the burgers were on another level, hence the 5 stars. Maybe next time I'll give their cola wings a try.

The thin base pizzas are on a par and probably better than big name pizza restaurants, really tasty plus halal too! A family run business with great personal service, they really look after you, nothing is too much trouble for these guys. If this place was on Ladypool road it would be packed out. Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends.

The food itself is awesome. Yes ,some people might find the food expensive however in their defence what I would say is try their food and you will truly understand the quality of the meat and ingredients used to make the burger or pizza.
I took this burger home with me. They packed the burger in a high quality eco cardboard which kept my burger warm and intact.
Their customer service is second to none. I have to say each one of the staff is great. Jazakallah for the food and what you are doing for the local community is admirable and should be emulated by other true British takeaway owners.

Firstly the shop is well presented from the out side clean forefront, big windows without promotional stickers.
Inside is nice and bright with neutral colours the the tables aren't cramped together, it has simple and elegant decor and overall it is very clean.
The sevice is brilliant, the staff are well dressed, polite and respectful, cannot fault them.
The food itself is amazing, I had a D&B Juicy Lucy Americano Burger, the Meat Patty has cheese and jalapenos stuffed within it, the party was cooked very well it was juicy and flavourful, it was well well presented with saute onions, lettuce and tomatoes, with a lovely sauce, I asked for halloumi cheese to be put on there as an extra which they obliged to. The fries are great.
They Have a Great Selection of Mocktails if thats something you fancy and they have a good selection of sauces from classic ketchup and mayo to their home sauces.
This place cannot be faulted, in any way.
This place is now my No.1 burger and pizza joint. The prices great for the quality of food you get.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, they now have an updated menu with a variety of sides which is even better as there’s more choice. I’m working my way thru the menu and so far the philly stuffed burger has been the best but this time I had the peri peri chicken burger and it is excellent. Unlike some other places I like how the chicken isn’t drowning in sauce and over powered with spices. Its moist and succulent and flavoursome. The pizzas are addictive, in fact Some of the best pizzas I’ve tried. Everything looks so fresh at the pizza counter and the clean flavours speak for themselves.
