Five Guys make the best burgers and fries. Price is high but portions are ample :) I will be back for more in a few weeks.

Fantastic burgers! It is expensive for a fast food place but it was totally worth it. The burger seemed small but they put so much stuff in it, and their patties are so big you realise how big of a burger is. I didn't really like the chips, I prefer the chips more crispy, but leaving the skin add a nice taste to it. Definetly suggest you to try it.

Crazy busy as you would expect in a city centre. Food orders taken quickly and then quite a wait for the food. Burger wasn't hot when I got it but it was nice and decent. Mayonnaise machine had ran out and couldn't grab anyone to refill. 1 of the drinks machines also ran out of nearly every 100 possible flavours.

We love the burgers and fries, they always maintain the same quality level. People here treated us very nicely, and there was no wait at all in lunchtime. The milkshake is also worth having.

The venue is clean, from entry to open kitchen to toilets, fabulous decor seating areas, exits, covid restrictions in full swing. Gobsmacked at the price list, the food was tasty well put together, but nothing high end warranting £11.95 for a burger and chips, be aware you pay for each item no meals on offer. I wanted a milkshake but at £5.95 I couldn't justify its tiny cup even thou I had the money. It's food I don't regularly eat off plan. For a family of 4 to eat a burger and cups with a shake you're looking at £71.60 minimum. I've had too of the food star food that costs less and left me full, so this is a place I won't frequent often as I was still hungry afterwards....

Tried out Five Guys. Birmingham Bullring. 'bout 8pm on a Thursday. Tail end of lockdown. Cashier asked if I'd been before. I said no and she explained the Five Guys proposition. Somehow they called normal burgers little and double burgers normal I ended up with a larger burger than I needed. Can't say it was that big, but somehow it was filling. Really juicy burger. I asked for small fries, but seemed my delivery bag was full of them. No idea if I was lucky or that's the deal. Strawberry cheesecake shake was absolutely gorgeous but too expensive and/or too small for the price. It took ages to arrive for some reason. Overall, tasty, but very expensive. Three times the price of McDonald's, but not three times better. Two times maybe?

Beef burgers are good quality and cooked well. If you only want a small lunch then the small burger (which I assumed was just for children) is perfectly adequate as it just means 1 burger instead of 2 on the bun.

To make it simple, the best chips I've ever eaten. Scrumptious. The burger was also yummy. There is also a massive selection of soft drinks. The only downside is the price. It is costly—£ 16 for a small burger, medium chips and a drink. Overall, I loved it and will be going back to the five guys, but not too soon, as it is dear for a burger chain restaurant.

Expensive but worth it! It is a little bit of a pricey McDonalds but you get what you pay for. Very tasty burgers, great chips (only need a small to share between 2, trust me, you get loads!!) Milkshakes are brilliant, would recommend. Also half and half Coca Cola with Fanta Raspberry is my go-to drink from the machine. I don't mind the price, but it's the only thing stopping it from being 5 stars, highly recommend if you don't mind paying a bit more for your fast food

Nevermind how unhealthy the food is. Nearly had a heart attack looking at the prices. For three of us to have a burger each, share 2 large fries and 2 regular soft drinks came to over £40. However the food was very nice. But I wouldn't say it's anything special. There was also a lot of salt on the fries. I would return but not somewhere is go often and that's only due to the price of the food.

This is the second five guys I have visited. Despite being rather busy the quality of service and the food is as high as the quieter branch I have enjoyed often. My only negative point for this five guys is the size and available seating, making it a little difficult to collect and fill your drink due to the narrow walkway present.

Food was lovely, felt the ordering was over complicated should have a standard then can opt to take away or add, instead of plain then add everything you want, milkshakes were very nice, largest options of flavours i've seen, but the biggest thing is the price! We had 3 shakes 2 burgers and 2 fries £42.15, as said i enjoyed the food nice for a change too many cheaper options out there to enjoy every week.

Five Guys is the burger spot that you'll travel from out of the city just to visit. Five Guys is your #1 choice for getting something to eat in Birmingham. Five Guys is simply perfection. This is no exaggeration either; I originally visited because of the hype but I saw that the love for this place is well deserved. Let's start with the burgers. The burger buns are like two doughy pillows , soft but capable of holding the deliciousness sandwiched between it. The patties are scrumptious and so juicy, so the fact that the regular Five Guys burger includes TWO patties to sink your teeth into is honestly a blessing. As for the condiments, the choice is phenomenal. You can choose from any combination of toppings for free, including stalwarts like ketchup and mustard to outlandish picks like grilled mushrooms (there's that many I've forgotten the full list!). The servers are friendly and understanding, so they're happy to help you choose/tell you what's on offer (and tell you nutritional information) upon request. And then the fries. They are golden, crunchy pieces of deliciousness, wow. If you frequent *other* burger joints you're probably used to limp, tasteless fries. Yeah, Five Guys fries are nothing like that. They're so tasty and the portions are so generous, you'll want to get one portion to share. After having written all this, I should say that I'm not even some kind of massive burger lover. I'm not some kind of burger enthusiast and visiting Five Guys, at first, wasn't some sort of pilgrimage. But consider me a convert because this place is truly amazing. Is it expensive compared to what you're used to paying for for burgers? Oh yeah. But is it worth it? I highly encourage you to visit Five Guys and experience it for yourself.

A very impressive selection of meals and shakes. I opted for the veggie sandwich with extra grilled cheese and a Brooklyn lager. I was tempted to have the small fries cooked in peanut oil, too, but decided against. The restaurant is impressively decorated and reminds one of a 1950 American diner with a contemporary twist. This place will be buzzing during the Christmas period and January sales.

I hadn't tried this chain before. You order your burger from the counter and select the toppings. Wait for your order and fill soda yourself. Potatoes chips were ok. A little bit more quality than other chain burgers I would say.

My daughter n I walked across the shop, and she said the food is nice. So we went in, looked at the menu n found beef hot dogs, I was ecstatic. The fries n hot dog great, prefer the hot dog boiled. My daughter had hamburger which she enjoyed n it was fresh I saw it. Very great place to eat. I don't like chicken hot dogs or sausages. In Bermuda u have a variety of hot dogs n sausages that is where I am from Bwrmuda. Supermarkets should have a variety of sausages chicken , beef, pork n vegan. And restaurants. Love a five guys. Well seasoned flavourful burgers and I like that you choose what toppings you want. Had the bacon cheeseburger with tomato, fresh onion, lettuce and ketchup. Skin on fries are good but very salty. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Maybe not the best burger compared to some more gourmet burger places but for a fast food style burger joint its way better that BK or McDonalds.

I love Five Guys for the fries, the fresh cooking (e.g. no cold burgers) and the taste. It's busy here so be prepared for a 10 minute wait after ordering. Seating is ok (there is a upstairs seating most pwople miss). It was generally clean. Staff were polite, friendly and generous with the fries portions.

Depending on your toppings, there's always a different burger for what you fancy. The hotdogs are also very good if you want a change. You get tons of fries that come salted or cajun... i recommend cajun and mayo to dip. Forget about the price and enjoy that delicious 🍔! Shakes are good too

Just because you have over 185 reviews does not mean you are the big boy around here, ignore the keyboard warrior, there’s clearly an opportunity for a personal therapist to get in touch with him. OK on to my review, my only 5 Guys burger was New Years Eve in Nottingham around 2002, I was fascinated by the peanuts and the way you build your own burger, as a seasoned commuter I’m usually rushing to catch a train and since the new Birmingham New Street was built I’ve not had the time to order - until today. Wow, the Chef was friendly to customers, I heard him direct staff in a friendly way. I watched my burger being built (double jalapeños please! 🌶) and I took a photo of my semi burger awaiting its patty. Huge. Massive. I didn’t order fries, not because I don’t like them, but because the burgers are GINORMOUS Maybe the men out there can handle a voluminous portion, I cannot. Especially after a night of Prosecco and cocktails with the girls. Here’s my photos. Visit this location it’s awesome. And whatever you do, ignore Jonathan’s review. He’s probably from Dudley anyway

I love the co-op in Erdington. It's one of my favourite supermarkets to shop at. Their food is excellent quality and delicious. Quite pricey but so are most things these days. I buy all of my salad from there and my lamb chops. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store is spotless.

Always love the chips! There was one staff who was in charge of the milkshakes who I asked for a cup for water and she said she would get it but then proceeded to serve 4 other customers while constantly catching my eye. After a 7 min wait, I went to another member of staff and asked the same question and she gave me a cup straight away which was stored right next to where she was. She then looked at me and said "oops, I guess I forgot"

I love the hot dogs! I needed 2 to get fed as they are about 6" each. The staff was working their behinds off when I was there. I felt sorry for them, but when I got my meal and took a bite I knew they still did it properly. I never had a hot dog this full of flavour. And before I tried the chips I thought... "What's so special about the fries? They're fries" . But after biting into the very first fry I knew what all the fuss was about. Nothing burned, nothing raw, the perfect softness that I like.

I went to five guys yesterday with my youngest daughter. Very welcoming happy lovely staff. Spotlessly clean, social distancing in place, one way system, waitresses wearing masks, still very fast service. Food absolutely incredible the burgers and fries are truly delicious. Fabulous fresh lettuce tomatoes and onion , crispy bacon cheese a pickle with amazing bun and delicious Burger, fries amazing and loads of them as well, every mouthful is delicious. I know this is just a burger restaurant but it is nothing like mac Donald’s or Burger King the food is truly superb quality and incredibly tasty. I cook burgers at home and always use the best of everything in my home cooked ones and five guys is comparable to that. I was served by a lovely young lady Angela who was great and she looked after us brilliantly I then spoke to Julian the general manager who again was professional, polite and made us feel really well looked after. He clearly knows how to organise a team. I can’t recommend Five guys bull ring more and will return when next in brum.

Always love a Five Guys burger when I go shopping. It may be pricey but in my opinion you pay for the quality and they are consistent. They provide a wide variety of toppings for your burger and I must say I'm a big fan of their pickles! Recommend to people to try it if they have never done so. You won't be disappointed in my opinion.

Milkshakes are really tasty my advise is, go for a malt ingredient overall a nice clean place to dine and great alternative to the larger fast-food providers. Prices are on the higher end but the quality is better. Peak times you can struggle to get a table.

For not having been before, everything was explained nicely. It's an easy concept. Selection of drinks is brilliant and being able to watch food being prepared adds to the experience! Fantastic as always. Place was absolutely packed, but even with that we only had to wait ~10 minutes for 5 burgers and chips. We got a large chips, and the lovely staff member preparing it put two big scoops of chips in the bag along with the large cup. We were lucky to find a table for four in a corner. Table was clean, and so were the surroundings. Food was as you'd expect from any Five Guys: amazing. Best 'fast food' burgers out there.

Great quality burgers, better quality and bigger than other chains (and double patties in 'small' burgers). Chips are crispy and fried in peanut oil (obviously don't taste like peanuts) one large chips would easily of fed 3/4 people but we bought 2 and had too many. Two of us are gluten free so had our burgers wrapped in lettuce, lots if free toppings. Burgers were quite greasy but might be the lack of bun to soak it up. Staff friendly and restaurant v clean with food cooked in front of you. Downside was £65 for 3 shakes a refillable drink 2 large chips and 4 burgers!!!!

Second visit for me first for my fiance. Really top quality burger and the chips are incredible. More choice on the refill drinks than most places too. Unfortunately the soft drinks don't taste any better than any other aspartame you've had before, so I wouldn't recommend spending the money on that -- get a milkshake instead.

It was my first time there, I met courteous staff who explained how to compile the menu to get the ultimate dream meal. Explanation on collect service was stellar. The meal was properly prepared and you can observe them doing it from order to delivery. However, I felt as though I ate Costco's burger meat as it had bits in it. Tasty but a bit annoying. Chips lovely and plentiful two can share. Good range of bottomless drinks except alcoholic drinks. Overall experience brilliant.

I didn't get the memo about Five guys. We visited a busy place in the Bull Ring on a Saturday afternoon. A student took us and we where impressed. Ordering is more involved that usual, they make a bespoke burger and you have to choose from several options, then you take a seat as you burger creation is cooked. It's quite fast though. Food was excellent, the quality was very good and offered wide choices of potato fries and sweet potato fries, a wide range of drinks (including beer). Very nice food, a bit cramped seating area.

Wow. I've never been to a burger bar that's had so many customers waiting for food. The vegetarian burger with cheese is great especially with jalapeño peppers. Melts in the mouth. I'm normally a meat person but the choice is limited. No chicken and no fish. Red meat only. Shame. Be careful when ordering French fries. They come in huge quantities. They are perfect. Crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. No ketchup required. The drinks are pretty standard yet you have a wide choice of sift drinks. Make sure that you are tech savvy. My first go at the machine meant I got lemon tea instead of diet coke. Tasty though. By the way , watch out for the queues. It gets really busy at times and seating is not that great. Eating outside in the cold is no fun. Enjoy your food.🍔🍟and free up your bank account. Not cheap like a certain Scottish sounding provider who doesn't provide the same quality food. Enjoy

Great place for burgers and fries (as you'd expect). Amazing food, amazing staff. You 'build' your burger upon ordering, selecting toppings from a wide selection - I'm pretty sure this is the secret, choose wisely, complementing flavours for example and your burger will be amazing. The fries are homemade-style, skin-left-on, wedges. Listen to the staff when they advise you, the portions are huge, a medium chips is actually a large and they throw in extras (you know when you find chips at the bottom of the paper bag). The drinks are also worth a mention, self served from a drinks machine, there's a huge amount of choice. Stuff I've never heard of but now want, cherry fanta for example (I forget the actual flavours, I might be mistaken with the cherry fanta).

There's a Nationwide nearby, go and get a loan first. I had a regular burger and fries (the nicest ones ever, mind) and a refillable coke, for £13. It was a really lovely burger, but I couldn't help but think about how long I'd worked in order to pay for it. Kind of spoiled it a bit. They sell alcohol there though, so that could've helped take my mind off it if I wasn't broke. As I said, it was a really lovely burger (wayyyy better than most fast food places and with the advantage of choosing your own toppings, which are mercifully free), but pricey. It is a nice touch naming the farm that supplied the potatoes for that day, and having the food prepared in full view. There's also outdoor seating with a cover over the top because it's England.

Went in Christmas eve. Young girl on the till couldn't of looked less interested if she tried. Let a que wait didnt call them over. I called them over in the end to let them no she was free. Didnt smile or greet the cusomers . No engagement looked like it was killing her being there . She asked others to call out her orders. Needs customer service skills.
