Lovely place to eat, came here for breakfast, there was a few people there already, but was still very quiet, we got seated straight away. We sat near the kitchen, so could see the food being freshly cooked. Good sized portions and reasonable prices. No need to book.

Went here for brunch with friends and the food was pretty good. They have some fun drinks choices that look good. I had the chicken and maple syrup waffles and it was tasty although personally I wish it had more chicken.Good food and service but not outstanding.

Visited here with a group of girls at the weekend and we LOVED IT!!! The delicious food, novelty cocktails & great service - we really couldn't fault it. A few of us opted for the burgers with loaded fries which were absolutely delicious. My friend went for the peanut butter noodles which were amazing but very very spicy!! Our cocktails arrived in inflatable unicorns and flamingos with candyfloss! And the service was exceptional, especially Noel who was very attentive and informative.

I went here for bottomless brunch with 3 friends on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was very busy, so we waited for a couple of minutes for our table become available. Despite how busy it was, the food & drinks were brought out very quickly. The staff made sure that our drinks were replaced quickly, and would ask for our next order without having to get their attention. Will definitely be returning!

We went for brunch. The staff was fantastic , friendly and helpful but the food was not great. My friend had some avocado and salmon toast and the bread was so hard that she had to ask some more. Unfortunately it was not fresh, also in general the meal was very dry.

The food quality was brilliant, to be honest I was very surprised how tasty the food was. The steak was tender and juicy, burger was perfectly cooked and the flavour was well balanced. The portion of the meatballs spaghetti was huge, it's not a complaint, but my friend couldn't finished it. We really had a good time with our favourite bluemoon beer and cocktails.

Booked the igloo with friends, quite surprised as we did here some bad reviews about it, but we were a group of five women, and enjoyed everything about it, they equipped us with a hot water bottle and furry throws, and a heater under the table and a speaker to play your own music, it did get quite warm later, and the waiter Noel was attentive and the food was tasty and the atmosphere was great, a good two hours was had by us all, would recommend.

We came here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon, it was extremely busy, probably due to Pride being on, and it seemed the management had made no effort to staff appropriately. The waitress was lovely and doing her best but clearly run off her feet. We were waiting for about 5 minutes before anyone came to seat us. They only give you two hours but we didn’t get our food until an hour in, and my friend’s order came out wrong so it had to be sent back. We also waited a long time for our drinks, although the waitress kindly took them off our bill as an apology for the delay. It’s a shame when staff are clearly trying their best but management have not properly prepared for busy periods!

I went to Gas Street Social for breakfast for my fiancé's birthday and it was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. The location is excellent as well. Will definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu.

Came for drinks and dinner with the girls. The food and service was great. The cocktails were also lovely, we had a rum one that was in a barrel which was so tasty but after a few sips it was gone, I know cocktails are famous for being loaded with ice, but this cocktail could've done with having more drink inside. We ordered food which was gorgeous and attempted the kilo of chicken wings between two us but unfortunately food won this time 🙄🙄🙄. Would definitely come back again. Would recommend that you pre book a table as it gets very busy, we arrived around 6.30pm on a Saturday night and all tables were occupied.

Cool place that churns out burgers for lunch just as well as breakfast items. Coffee is good, wine and beer choices are great and the cocktails are bang on. Staff are friendly and helpful, and definitely run off their feet in such a busy place but you’d never know it. Great choice in the Mailbox!

I love the cozy feeling and the nice interior of the restaurant. However, the food is mediocre. I had a cuppocino with almond milk and I'm not sure if it was about the coffee or the milk but I was tasted really bad. My avocado and egg toast was good but quite small for the price - only one piece of bread. The first time I was there I had a vegetarian breakfast which was really good. Also, super friendly staff.

Love the sharer dishes from this place. Can get a couple for yourself or get a selection for the group and pick away with a nice cocktail on hand. Staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere buzzing. Sitting next to the canal side adds to the charm making it a wonderful evening out. 2nd time here and not disappointed.

Cheap workday cocktails with a bit of a twist. Very quick service in a nicely presented bar. Good is well cooked and affordable, they offer a set meal if that is anyone's cup of tea which includes a starter. Average meal with a cocktail will set you back about £25-£30.

Food is fantastic. They had ran out of a few bits what was disappointing but overall good. They failed to give you the 'T and C's' until you had sat down. The drinks aren't bottomless they will serve you non alcoholic if you down it which I think is awful. But food is great.

Came here 3 weeks ago for my 18th birthday with some family. The place is an absolute delight. The staff are so lovely including one of the managers who came over and had a nice chat with us. The food was delicious.Will definitely be coming back. In relations to COVID rules , all staff wore masks and the table was cleaned in front of us , which made us feel safe and ensured we had a great time.

We decided to eat here after we popped in for coffee earlier in the day as we were impressed with the service and menu read well. There were 7 of us and we hadn't booked but we were accommodated without a fuss. Greg the manager was excellent, very polite, attentive and hard working, lovely to see the manager out on the floor clearing tables & working well with all the staff. The food was delicious & served in good time, it came to the table all together still piping Hot, cooked perfectly and presented very well. Everyone really enjoyed thier meal. (Highly recommend the wings & randomly the cauliflower wings, though not for the faint hearted) The cocktails are fantastic, you simply cant just have the one. My complementary birthday cocktails was a lovely extra touch to a very enjoyable meal. We enjoyed ourselves that much we headed back the following day for brunch & yet again fantastic service thanks to our server Harry, and the food was again delicious. Overall the whole experience was outstanding and consistent. I would definitely recommend.

I went to Gas Street Social as part of a large group. We had a nice, private area. Our server was fantastic, very efficient and made an effort to learn our names and preferences. We had several people in the group with dietary requirements who were well catered for. The food was great, particularly the Teriyaki Pork Belly lollipops. My only issue was that the female toilets were a little messy, however this was quickly rectified once staff were made aware. The range of cocktails was also fantastic and there was something for everyone with lots of interesting glassware and unusual flavours. Staff were very happy to provide advice and recommendations. This is somewhere I will definitely be returning.

First visit today, Visited today with family and two children. The two children asked for pencil crayons to colour the piece of paper that they had in front of them. No on came back with the crayons and we asked again the waitress informed us that they had no crayons and someone had gone to the shop to get some. Amazing. I ordered fish and chips and requested that the fish be lighted battered. The chef did an excellent job and the minted peas were amazing. Nice restaurant.

We had a really lovely lunch here on Wednesday. The place is really cool some quirky fixtures. Outstanding service from everyone here, the barman was great, our waitress was so lovely we had such a laugh with her, she helped with our choices and was really attentive. Loved the open plan kitchen, we were fascinated watching the chef at work who chatted to us and just made the whole experience brilliant. Update - I visited for a 2nd time today and again the food was fairly good. Server was nice and the interior of the place was really good. Lovely and Festive. Would defiantly go again. Great Menu and so Flexible. Visited here on a Sunday lunch time. A really interesting interior and is really fitting. We had a Fish and Chips from the menu and it was the best fish I have ever had. Not often I give somewhere 5 stars but this place is worth it. Waiter or was great and helpful and the service was really good. Overall good prices too and a great meal. I'd love to visit here again maybe in the evening to sample drinks next time as they have a good drinks list and a large bar.

Good quality food in a lively, yet relaxed setting. The staff were friendly and accommodating, although a little thin on the ground at times. Had "the works" English breakfast, which was tasty and lived up to its name, while my companion had perfectly poached eggs benedict. The menu is quite pricey compared to similar places nearby and doesn't really offer much more for your money, but it's highly likely you will enjoy yourself nonetheless.

Staff were friendly, being there for lunch I think was weird as it definitely felt like a bar that randomly had tables in it, but could have been the loud music and volume of other groups in that day. Not bad, if you like prosecco and meat, not for you if you like real ale and veggie variety.

A more upmarket drinking establishment and always busy (which really helps the atmosphere) I love the private booths that can accommodate 4 people as its a cosy setting. There's also a cordoned off section for events or parties which is more private and away from the hubbub of the bar. The lighting and decor is very different from Broad Street and the Mailbox and the food and drinks are always really good.

Good if unremarkable. The main thing I'd say is that quantity of the wings was mind blowing, a huge portion, but the quality of the buffalo sauce not up to the standard of, say, a meat liquor. Good location, reasonable place, but not a rave.

So much promise. Really well presented bar and restaurant with zoned areas to eat. We were shown to a booth but preferred a table, first negative "it's a different menu in the bar". The place should offer one menu in ALL so called zones. Second negative is the outside space. Not much they can do about how breezy it is. If your a non smoker like me your going to be smoking like it or not. Cocktails and service are good on the positive.

Not the best of food & slow service, so slow that the head waiter did not charge us for one dish. It might of just been a off day? Who knows. Enjoyed this restaurant, a bit pricey, but don't mind paying for good food, good atmosphere well mannered staff. One criticism, they put to much ice into soft drinks, so you hardly get any drink, but apart from that, I would highly recommend.

After Rodizio Rico around the corner losing our booking we walked in on a Saturday night and really loved the place. Ok so we did have to order at the bar but the staff were lovely, the atmosphere was perfect, romantic yet sociable, and the food was amazing. We had arancini, salt and pepper squid followed by rump steak. It was all cooked perfectly in their open kitchen where you can see the chefs working. The food arrived quickly and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. A great place to go for a romantic meal or a meal with friends. The perfect mix of relaxed but still great food. I want to sit in one of the little booths next time I go!

Cracking brunch - pancakes with bacon, sausage, egg, blueberries and maple syrup; and chorizo hash with peppers, onions, potatoes and chorizo. Wasn't particularly speedy, but it was cooked fresh and there were a few bigger tables in before us, but all good, enough time to order, eat and drink in an hour's lunch break. Good service, friendly and cheerful staff. Will go back again, would recommend.
