We managed to book a table for 6 in advance on a Strictly show night because we had a small child with us and the team couldn't have been more helpful. The food was excellent, hot, really quickly served and as it was our first visit, we didn't know what to expect. We will definitely be back. Thanks lovely team The booking was 5.30pm on 22 Jan 2022

Very pleasant restaurant in the attractive Brindley Place canal-side quarter with nice outdoor seating. Ordering and payment can all be done on an app, but the staff delivering the food are still helpful and friendly. Burgers up to the usual high GBK standard, and the banana blossom bites starter is real revelation.

I ordered a chicken a chicken burger with two grilled chicken patties. They were overdone and I could taste the bitterness of a burnt food a bit. Overall, the burger tasted a bit bland. Same was the case with my mum's vegan burger (she it was worth 2 stars). My Mrs however had a slightly better experience with fried chicken burger but her skinny fries were too skinny. It almost felt like chewing hard potato sticks (poking the upper inside part of your mouth).

I went to Gourmet Burger Kitchen with my girlfriend for lunch, and we felt very invited by a nearby server who greeted us and told us to sit anywhere we wanted. We sat at a corner booth next to the window seeing how it was relatively quiet. We found the lunch menu to be well priced, and we especially liked the option to upgrade the burger to a 6oz for £1.50 (if you're hungry, I recommend the upgrade.) The picture attached is cheeseburger that I ordered (my girlfriend got the same thing but different cheese) and a chocolate milkshake. We went to order, and we found the server at the till to be very cold and emotionless during the entire encounter. It seemed as though she did not want to be there and just wanted to clock out as soon as possible. After paying (and deciding amongst ourselves that the food was pretty well priced in the lunch menu) we headed back to our table and waited for our food, which is said to take 15 minutes or less, which it did! We received our burgers, but no milkshakes. We calmly asked the friendly waitress for them and a few moments later, we received them! Burger was delicious, fries were nice. Atmosphere was good, music was at a good volume, and enjoyable all around. The only downside from our encounter was the not very friendly server working the till and staff never checked in throughout our meal. Service could've been better, food was good!

Having been served by Lukas, Hayley. Amazing friendly service and really really good food. The flame grilled burgers taste amazing, they really do. The staff were incredibly kindz human in approach and provide a really good service. The menu selection is refined, and complements the business modal. Highly recommended!

Had a great vegan bean burger, nice to have a burger that's honest and not pretending to be meat. My partner chose to have without a bun and got a generous portion of salad. The assistant manager Karl was great too.
