Came here for lunch while visiting Birmingham for work and was really pleased! Nice atmosphere staff were really friendly and service was great! The menu pricing is quite cheap and there was 50% off food so I wasn't sure how good it would be but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Chilli Bomb burger which was just the right amount of heat, had 2 nice smashed patties just a little pink in the middle and some proper chilli sauce with seeds and all topped off with a grilled greep pepper between a proper bun! Very tasty! Friend had baked potato and cheese and beans which he said was great. Proper pint of Guinness to finish things off. Will be back tomorrow!

I love Hennessys. It's spacious, serves nice pub grub. The pints are fresh and the staff are lovely plus they have nearly every sport available on all the time and a huge screen out in there smoking area which is great to watch matches in on hot summer days 🙂 only 1 downside is that they got rid of there pool table which I really enjoyed using

Lovely outdoor seating area with a very large screen that shows live sports. Indoor part is also very nice and offers a large range of live sports screens. Reasonable drinks prices and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

This bar use to be my "local" meny years ago when I worked at Selfridge.... I lot bigger now but still a great place to chill.....Popped into there as afew hours to kill and it was my birthday!!! Really nice guy behind bar, told him was my birthday, he offered me a shot on the house,declined as I was driving later. About 10 minutes later 1 of the team walking to me singing happy birthday with waffles and ice-cream....so nice!! Thanks guys!!!! Ps outside area looks GREAT 👍🏾!!!

Went here on Sunday to meet with friends, watch the football and have some lunch. A lovely atmosphere, very well run and felt very safe with all the current COVID safety measures in place. Met at the door, checked in and escorted to our table. Plenty of very friendly staff serving at your table but they also have an app so you can order food and drinks yourself. Well done Hennesseys. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a function here. Whilst the food was good the beer and alcohol choice was a little main stream. Just seemed that it could add a little more for the discerning. Even just one or two craft beers would be sufficient. So minus a star if you like craft beer or good whisky. Add a star if you just want a simple no nonsense event. Could be really good if they added a little excitement with there supplied choices.

Come here regularly to watch the rugby with a group of friends. Always a good atmosphere, plenty of screens, large beer garden for the summer and has heaters in the winter. The food is standard pub grub but i good value for money. The drinks are well priced and there is a very large selection available. The staff are very helpful and friendly - recently arranging for a rugby match to be shown on a specific screen for our group which made for a great afternoon. If watching sport for a major match i'd advise booking ahead but otherwise there are usually a few tables available.

Love this place on the weekends, the music is always really good. Every time I've been it hasn't been busy, I'm assuming it's because of the location more than anything. They play alot of old school bangers, plenty of room for dancing. Smoking area is huge with seating outside aswell.

After a day out in Birmingham, my friend and I found Hennessey's to watch the England v Wales match. For a sporting event this was an excellent venue with a great crowd and nice atmosphere. The service was fairly quick and Guinness well looked after. A fun bar which is great for a visit to watch sports.

Excellent bar in Digbeth to start any exploration of the area. Open area, projector on the wall for whatever sport was on, pool tables and a bar - and that's just the beer garden! Inside is just as nice in case the weather turns. Will be coming again!

Really big outside area, great for sporting events watched the boxing there a few times. Does get very busy though when these events are on. For a normal night out it's not really my cup of tea as it's a bit too chavy for my liking, also where it's located in the night seems to be in the middle of nowhere with nothing else around it except for Suki 10c and and Pirlos desert bar so it's quite a jaunt walking to anywhere else if you want to move on with your night.

In a side street in the Digbeth area of town. This is a large bar with a strong Irish theme. And popular with the Irish community in this part of Birmingham. There's a friendly atmosphere here. There is an outside courtyard with a bar, and luckily a canvas roof. There are several TV screens showing sports.

What starts as a unsure drinking place soon turns into the place to be after a rum or two. When I first walked in I was very unsure, quite rowdy and it wasn't what I was expecting from the entrance, but after my first double rum I started to settle in, then a couple Of shots and another double rum I felt right at home, for the love of the Irish..
