Stumbled across this place while walking in the city centre and decide to come back and give it a try. It is a new restaurant in Birmingham city centre the decor is very nice and there is a really nice ambiance about the place. The staff were excellent very polite and made a great effort to make sure you are happy. The food came out very quickly and there were no delays with the service. My only issue was that I found the food to be a bit on the bland side for my palette, it looked very nice as you can see from the pictures but I do feel all of the dishes could do with more flavour hence why I only gave a 3 star rating with a little more attention to how the food taste this could be a little gem of a place.

Reservations recommended at peak times. High end restaurant. Very good service. Many drink choices and good food menu choices. I had the steak. It was cooked perfect and was tender. Only complaint would be that it was not seasoned well. Kind of bland. Came with one grilled tomato and very thick cut fries that were cooked nicely. Attentive wait staff and overall excellent service and food/drink quality. Highly recommend.

The food was lovely and so was the atmosphere of the restaurant and its location. tried the oysters, scallop starter, pork belly and lobster.ai would definitely recommend the scallops and the pork belly dishes. The only sad part was my husband and I fell very ill that night and was very sick for the next three days and the only thing we could think of was the oysters as everything else we ate was cooked. The server was a bit all over the place with taking our order but the restaurant manager was extremely nice and realised what was happening and took our order himself. I would still go again to try other parts of the menu

Booked for a date night, we were running late and staff were really understanding and simply amended the booking. The service was great, they were very attentive and helpful when needed. The food was absolutely delicious flavoursome and perfectly cooked …. I had a seafood risotto dish main, and an apple for dessert. The portions were also generous and well presented. The cocktails were beautiful … the Pina Colada was one of the best I’ve had. Will definitely be returning !

Myself and 2 friends, and their children are staying in the city and we were recommended this gorgeous restaurant. Soon as we walked in, there was a lovely professional manager ready to sit us down. We ordered a lot of food as we had 3 children with us, the manager and waitresses were very attentive to us and even gave the kids free ice cream which I thought was so lovely of them and kind. The restaurant had free wifi so the kids could watch on their ipads as well as high chairs. For starters we had: Bread basket Calamari Goats cheese appetiser And for the mains we had Fillet steak with pepper corn sauce and chunky chips Seafood Rissoto Prawn Rissoto Chicken tenders and chips for the kids. Food was so delicious that I ordered a second round of Calamari for myself! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Great wine and dine experiance at Noel's . Food were amazing and fair price too. Iv order the pork chop and didn't like it, pork have some sort of funny smell to it. the staffs quicky got it sorted out and swap it with the seafood pasta with in 10 minutes, the pasta were to die for. over all, our Starter and main were very great! if you got a chance please visit, i highly recommended!

We had a meal last night for my partners birthday. The food was very good and I really enjoyed the mussels to start with. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. My partner had the mushroom soup which was lovely and the mains were exceptional. Most of all the staff were friendly and professional and had good sense of humour. Irina was very informative regarding the menu and fabulous customer service. She is a credit to the restaurant along with the female host equally a credit. We will be back!

My husband and I went on 12/04/2021 for our first meal out after lockdown and we could not have been more impressed! Food, drinks, service and ambiance were all fantastic. We were seated outside because of the restrictions, but they had outdoor heating and provided blankets for the guests which was a lovely touch. We ordered the bread basket for a starter and were both very pleasantly surprised, the quality for the price was amazing and it was the best bread basket we had ever had. You could tell the bread was freshly baked as it was still warm and the homemade hummus was delicious- I don't even normally like hummus! For mains we got the lamb and the gnocchi, both absolutely delicious. We had several cocktails all of which not only tasted good but looked great too. Our server Samuel was very attentive, as were all the other staff. Our food and drinks came quickly. Everything was perfect! It was a little on the pricey side but so so worth the money. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The table was a bit cramped as it was directly next to the server till and they were constantly squeezing past. Food was very good, though the steak was a little over-seasoned for my taste. Good choice available for both food and cocktails (would recommend one the Bailey's based dessert cocktails).

Food is beautiful but did take an age to arrive. Considering we at ate 5:45 and the restaurant was quiet it took an awful long time. Over 1 1/2 hours for our mains. My main reason I wouldn’t return here? The staff. Oh my lord, I have never experienced such rude, incompetent customer service in all of my life. Even before arriving, I called in advance to let the restaurant know I may be late, male staff member on the end of the phone was extremely rude. Kept interrupting and then hung up on me point blank. Couldn’t just not bother because it’s a £20pp no show fee if we didn’t. Didn’t get any better once in the place. Our waiter was a lovely chap, young and super friendly. The women here are stuck up and caked in makeup. They honestly turn their noses up at you and just don’t speak when you speak to them. They think they’re something and seem to forget they wait tables in a restaurant along brindley place for a living. When paying circa £200 for your bill easily in such an establishment you expect more from such incompetent and rude staff. WILL NOT BE RETURNING and will spend my money elsewhere.

The food, ambience and staff were great. There was some confusion over the booking numbers which was in fairness by both parties. However, the staff worked hard to accommodate us and were helpful throughout. My thanks to the staff for ensuring victory was grabbed from the jaws of defeat.

Went to Noel's for dinner on Monday evening. We've heard good feedback about this place so we decided to try it. The decor is beautiful. A combination of French modern design which feels glamorous and elegant. The music was relaxing and it made us feel like we were on holiday as the restaurant is overlooking the canal side. The menu features a variety of Mediterranean dishes. We choose the panko chicken breast and salmon. Both dishes were delicious. Service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly staff. I cannot wait to go back.

Overpriced for its quality (meat-plates) and nothing exciting on terms of presentation (which you d expect for these prices!). Service was OK and polite but the manager(I guess?) was the typical "rude-trying-to-be-funny" guy with customers but a total je....k with his staff. Felt sorry for the rest of the guys.

Canalside dining I fancied this lunchtime after a morning of some admin. I heard about here on the grape vine and definitely wanted to try it. Entering the restaurant, there's a calm and neutral feel inside with relaxing music. Service here was very friendly with the waiters pulling the chair back for you as an example and the table laid out in a very traditional fashion. The menu is very varied and they do a signature mixed grill for £130. Too much for me sadly 🙊 I am one for alfresco dining though 😊 This afternoon I had the following; Starter: Prosciutto E Melone Parma ham 18 months aged with Camtaloupe melon This combination works really well and the Parma ham does not overpower the melon. 2 good combinations right here. Main: Roast rump of lamb with baby potatoes The lamb was cooked pink as per the chefs recommendation. It was absolutely divine, very tender and rich in flavour. Baby potatoes were fluffy and gorgeous. Total came to £22.75 afterwards This is by no means a cheap restaurant given its location but the quality lives up to the expectations and the portion sizes were fair and as such I would highly recommend a visit to this fine establishment 😇

Stylish decor, great ambience and a warm welcome. Good menu options, cocktail choices and wine list. Starters were excellent - well presented. Mains were satisfactory. Overall, good attentive service, with speedy effort made to address any niggles. The only criticism was the rather over zealous approach to the taking of orders and requesting payment of the Bill. The restaurant was not full and there was no obvious reason why there could not have been more time allowed to browse the menu and enjoy the experience without repeated attempts to take our order not long after being seated. It made the experience a little rushed.

Husband and I had lunch at Noel’s and I can honestly say everything from the moment we stepped through the door was perfect.we was shown to our seat .Greeted with smiles and felt relaxed and comfortable.The food was amazing.Highly recommend the lamb shank and if you are vegetarian the goats cheese and mushroom ravioli was enjoyed by my husband.If you are gluten free then that was no problem for them and recommended several items on menu.All in all a pleasant afternoon.

I enjoyed what is arguably the finest dish I’ve experienced in my lifetime. The Bucatini al Nero with monkfish, chilli, cherry tomatoes, white wine, olive oil and fresh basil leaves looked as good as it tasted. Monkfish and pasta is an amazing complimentary pair. I could leave it there, but the delights of this new restaurant need to be rightly given their time on the soapbox. The interior is a modern mix of gold, a modicum of glitz and a touch of nature. The waterside view through the large windows influences the mood of the restaurant and winds it down a few turns. The staff, especially the manager, made sure the customer is cared for. Food was delivered quickly and beautifully. The platter sharer was exciting to delve and looked amazing. The pasta dish, as already mentioned was on a different level. Another excellent Birmingham restaurant; trendy, sociable, serving amazing food.

The tiramisu is really home made and very good. The complimentary limoncello was a good surprise and well appreciated.The place is trendy and rather upscale. A fancy cool restaurant!! the environment is super suitable for a date night or someones' birthday tbf the price is a bit expensive and charged kinda fancy service fee too :( but I felt it's understandable, let's say fancy place deserve a fancy price anyway😂!! the food is not bad and my bf said he loves the way they put the prices on the menu haha the dessert platter is defoooo a highlighttt which is ma fav!!! Risotto Marinara and Tagliatelle Chocolate are tasty! (before step into here I never thought the beef could combine with the chocolate tho) and the 'joie de vigne'(white wine) is good too. First time here, the location is 2nd to none. Very peaceful, beautiful spectacular views. The staff are very well trained, which is wonderful to see, excellent service. Very friendly and pleasant manner. The Cappuccino was okay the tiramisu was very average. Although they say they were baked in house, I am a little suspicious about this tiramisu. I would go again because of the service, wonderful location, but only occasionally, normal price over £12 for coffee and cake I would expect it to be exceptional, not average. Tiramisu translated means “cheer me up”unfortunately this did the reverse, it left me disappointed.😢

Lovely food and atmosphere but we were one of only two tables in the restaurant on a Sunday night and it took them 45 minutes to take our order. We arrived at 8pm, sat down, they spent forever coming to get our drinks order and then again didn't come back to take our food order until 45 minutes after we arrived, which made the night very late when it wasn't supposed to be.

Decided to visit here as it's new and had good reviews. Lovely place with sophisticated edge. Booked in advance but didn't need to as wasnt busy upon arrival. Staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, they even have a cloak room which is a bonus. We ordered monkfish squid ink pasta n mushroom ravioli with veg, was yummy but my partner felt the squid ink pasta was a little overwhelming. For pudding we had the tiramisu which was nice but felt if more alcohol was soaked into the sponge it would have been Devine. Overall lovely experience and will definitely go again.

Visited on Friday, 6tg November with old colleagues and friends catch up. Callum our waiter was professional, knew the menu inside out. He's a credit to the establishment. We had the sharing Seafood platter as starters it was to die for more than enough for 4. . I had the Belly Draft of pork, others has risotto, monk fish, and salmon. Everyone's one plate was empty. We weren't having deserts. But had a sharing platter. It was lovely. The decor is delightful, beautiful and extremely clea. Can't wait to return

Oh my goodness me....this is the best restaurant that have visited in a looooooong time!! High quality in every aspect. The staff are delightful and attentive, the ambience was perfect, the dishes were amazing! If anyone had dietary needs that sometimes makes you feel “uncomfortable” to go out for a meal. Well look no further. Gluten free and vegan choices are genuinely available which makes a refreshing and welcomed change by comparison. Thank you to all the staff at Noel Restaurant! I understand that this was required under the government regulations, but we were promised that we would be moved to a table with a heat lamp when one became available. When one did become available, we asked again and our request was refused. Ruined a very good meal and considering the cost I would have expected better service.

What an absolute gem of a bar with an awesome feel and ambiance. Food was delicious with staff very knowledgable on each dish which is very nice as it helps with choosing the right meal. The drinks were also very nice and affordable. We then went to the bar for another drink before leaving with the wife having a cocktail that was prepared like artwork and she loved it. This is an amazing venue and we will definitely be going back. Music was great but not so loud that you can’t hear each other talking and the whole night was a true pleasure. We had a show to attend at around 1 and they allowed us to pre-order our food the evening before so that it was ready for when we arrived at 12 noon. absolutely fantastic. Was taken here Sat 29th Feb 2020 by my partner. We got all fancied up for a rare date night and boy were we wowed. Firstly the setting is beautiful, it was clean and tidy outside so good 1st impression it just got better. We were seated straight away and immediately given some nibbles with our menus and drinks were quick once ordered. The maitre de was brilliant, just the right balance of attentive very knowledgable not only about the wines and beers but also the food. the restaurant including toilets was spotless. the food although a little bit pricier than we'd usually go for was out of this world! the entire night was brilliant and i would definitely recommend this place. the service was excellent and really made the night.

A fantastic edition to the city! Great food, cocktails and service had by all 10 of us when we visited. Great location right on the canal opposite the Mailbox and the Cube. Fantastic choice of dishes on the menu, fish, steak, pizza, souvlaki and many more. We all said that we would be visiting again soon. It's also got a great bar with friendly and knowledgeable staff, they made me an amazing Sazerac coktail. Highly recommend you try this place.

Noels has raised its game! Good before lock down but even better since. Food fantastic, wine delicious, and a genuine party atmosphere (but socially distanced). Go, enjoy and celebrate.

Ok but not sure it will survive as there is much better competition near by. Firstly this place is lovely inside. Very nice decor. Staff are very good and attentive. Drink prices are very top end but the selection is good. Food was the biggest disappointment for us. It was ok but not up to the standard we were expecting with the prices. Sunday menu we tried the calamari and chicken ballotine. The latter of the two was a little on the dry side. For mains we had the pork and lamb. The pork was basically a pork chop with soggy cracking, a small scoop of stuffing and a carrot and the lamb shank, whilst tasty was pitifully small and barely anything else. Shame there were no options of sides as we would have definitely asked for some veg or maybe a Roast potato of some kind (well it is a Sunday lunch after all!!). So a bit of a mixed experience but this place has potential. Biggest gripe is the (discretionary) but always added service charge. Birmingham restaurants stop this!!! Let customers reward good service by giving them the option to add a tip rather than forcing them through the hassle of removing.
