Pizza was nice and was very good priced. Was £6 for a 16inch. The chips were also nice. They were fat chips with cheese on them. Doner meat and chicken was alright. Donner didn't have much taste.

Best Fish & Chip shop in and within the surrounding areas. Haven't been to any other chip shop since this place opened. Forget about Mother Hubbard's, its all hype. It's all about Papa Ge's. They don't just specialise in Fish & Chips, their pizza's are pukka.

Just had large cod and chips each for my husband and I, and am absolutely stuffed!!! Beautiful fresh fish, crispy batter and amazing big fat chips!! A little more expensive than our usual chippy but worth every penny!!! Delivered 30 minutes early than the time I was told on Just Eat so that was good too - will definitely be returning. Thank you Papa Ge's - keep up the excellent service and fantastic quality 😁

I've ordered the Mixed Doner and Chips a few times now. Just the right amount of both Doner. Chicken Doner is difficult to get right. Some places are too saucy or too charred but Ge's gets it spot on with the balance. Meat Doner is great too, no complaints. The chips though. OOF. Chips are always fresh, golden and crispy. They do the best chips in the area, heck I'd even put them top 5 in the city Staff is also to the point and polite, very much appreciated 5/5 if you are in the city, Papa Ge's is a must try

Have not had fresh tasting Fish and Chips since I was at the seaside. But when I was told about Papa Ge's and there famous fresh cod and chips thought I would try it. The chunky chips were tasty and not soggy, the fish was ordered and cooked whilst waiting and overall the food was awesome. Definitely recommend this place! 👌

The fish is always fresh, the chips are good too, this place struggles with the fast in fast food, despite being fully staffed you need to call ahead to avoid a long wait. I recommend you try the mini cod and chips then go for the gourmet handmade burger with all the trim. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Parking is a bit hit and miss as shop is situated on a main dual carriage way. During quite periods you can park almost right outside.

This place must be the best in Birmingham. Been using it since it opened, we have nothing but praise for the cleanliness and pleasant service, rapid home-delivery - and the food is just excellent. I went into the store yesterday and noticed new faces, after speaking to them i found out that the original management from Tamworth are there themsleves. I made an order for the house special pizza & fish and chips and they food was amazing!! The chunky chips were super tasty and the fish was wow 😍 the pizza was awesome too 😃

Just ordered for the First time , after being disappointed yesterday at Barri island....expected standard food...food arrived fast and scorching hot! ..and the Cod was Amazing! The chips was some of the best I've ever had! The cheese pizza 😘🍕.....The food in my View is the best not only in the area, even surrounding areas can't compete!...top notch ! Best fish and chips I've had period.. The biggest chunkiest chips ever and the pizza was to die for. Fish was made fresh once I ordered it. Nothing precooked. All the little scrawny crispy chips were removed before serving. Top quality food

Excellent customer service and great food the pizza is the best , once they forgot to send me my Donna in pitta they sent me two and two extra drinks all within 15 mins excellent people who know how to deal with customers, the chips are the best nice and chunky not burnt like some shops if your looking for nice fresh food that still is warm by time u drive home this is the place to go

Amazing food! Been here a few time now and I've always been impressed. Never been a fan of fat chips but their's are the best tasting chips I've ever had. Very generous portions. Staff are always welcoming and friendly.

I have been coming to papa ges for a while now and each and every time the shop is always clean and well presented, which makes it a great place to sit in and eat. The workers are very professional and very positive!! I have never had an issue with my food over here unlike other takeouts, papa ges take pride when making the food. This shop is just brilliant as they always put the customers first not like many takeouts I have been to. I would definitely recommend coming down and giving it a try because they won’t let you down!!

Draw of the luck with this place... The chips are very nice and then some days cooked to a crisp so half the packet is not edible... Along with the fact they think its gold chips they are serving, because the portions are ridiculous for what you are paying for, have to ask for chilli or mayo tubs aswell as napkins that's standard! ... But sometimes they come to their senses... The best thing I've had so far is the chicken daddy burger which in would recommend even at £5.

I was told about this chip shop by my mate So I went this evening I walked in I was so surprised to see a shop like this.It was amazing how clean it looked. The staff was so friendly and professional.I ordered a large fish and chips and kebab and chips.ive never tasted fish like this the chips were nice and chunky they were fresh(not soggy like other shops)the fish was cooked fresh while I waited and presented in a nice fish box.I was well amazed with the food and all I can say never been to chip shop like this.

First time going to papa ges washwood Heath road and as I entered the shop wa spotlessly clean and warm welcoming. The staff were so kind and helpful and polite. The fish and chips was nice and fresh came in a nice box which kept the food hot and not soggy like other shops. I would recommend this shop if u want fresh delicious food. Try it for yourself I guarantee u would love it

Quality fish and chips/ kebab shop compared to the otherwise trashy dirty shops on Washwoodheath Road, possibly the best in the area. No need to go Alum Rock now for such food, only suggestion is to add lamb sheesh kebabs to the menu

The food prepared here is fresh, I’ve seen them throw stuff away which was more than 10 minutes old, so people ranting about food poisoning are just making things up. You pay for quality and if you can’t afford the food here go elsewhere where the price reflects the food served.
