This is my vegan best friends hang out and I'm open to trying new places so we ended up trying here - the cafe was beautiful, absolutely amazing vibe on a cold dull wintry day outside was full of colour, warmth and love inside! Tried the colourful bagel with tofu scrambled egg stylee dish with a coffee and was different but really tasty! The girls/owners were just amazing, had a good conversation and laugh with them but great service and it's a really cute place:) will be going again for sure, might be my new local hangout ;) lol. Stayed in to eat but took away a pistachio milk cake (never tried anything like it before but beautiful!!) And an oreo cake to take out - fab cafe, really friendly, beautiful decor and amazing food, thank you all at Plant n Plate:)

The food was absolutely delicious. We had deep-fried oyster mushrooms that were out of this world. Excellent milkshakes and a delicious tofu and avo sandwich. The wrap was also amazing.

🌟UPDATE… I visited again. I can confirm that Plant n Plate prepare the best Birmingham vegan: 🦈Non-alcoholic beer battered soya. 🌭Mexican Hotdog 🍰Blueberry Cheesecake. If you love Vegan Food and Pink Paint, you’re going to love Plant N Plate. I popped in just to have a nose. The staff member was happy to chat about the amazing offerings at Plant N Plate. She recommended their Vegan Fish and Chips, bratwurst and meaty burgers. They have different themed events during the week and daily specials to keep proceedings as vibrant as the pink paint job.

I have been coming here since they opened. I love the Vegan Caesar salad and the breakfast muffin. 😋 all the food is delicious. Last night, we came for our anniversary and had the Tapas, so we got to try things we've never had before. It was absolutely delicious. ( unfortunately, my photos don't really do the food Justice but we were too busy eating it to worry about that at the time.) It was my partner's first time and he is a meeting so, and even he said everything was amazing. The food was so fresh and the flavours were gorgeous. (Who knew padron peppers could taste so good?) We had cakes afterwards as well, and they were to die for. The staff are always super friendly as well, see you feel welcome and whenever you go in. Thank-you! 😘

***THE FOOD IS DEFINITELY NOT BASIC AS SOMEONE PUT IN A REVIEW*** Brilliant Menu which continues to grow not to mention the 'Specials'. Very tasty breakfast which is totally vegan. Looking forward to my next visit. The Organic Tea 🍵 nice and spicy with a kick. Nice friendly staff, Lily, Alex & Nomi 'The Traveler'. This is my second visit, there's a few more items been added to menu. This time I had a Vacon Sandwich on whole meal bloomer with brown sauce, couldn't taste difference from real bacon. Delicious 😋 Also had a pot of everyday Organic tea 🍵 which was nice and the lovely lady topped up the pot on my request 🤔 Wow ! Vegan Fried egg looks just like a normal one and I think more tasty. Not available every day. Also best Onion Rings I've tasted. My wish would be for Chunky chips with skin left on instead of fries 🍟 Also maybe Potato Wedges added to the menu. If you are a Veggie or Vegan I would highly recommend this delightful little cafe based on Kings Heath High Street. It has five well sized tables to seat four people plus Four Stools if you want to sit by the window also a couple of tables outside to seat two people on each. There's a pay carpark outside but also free parking on the street. Opening hours are :- Monday Closed Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm Sunday 10am to 4pm.

Excellent service, delicious food and lovely setting. Love their tofish Thai red curry, probably my favourite curry ever!!! The people are so welcoming, caring and thoughtful. The quality of the food is always excellent. Love their smoothies and burgers. Their cakes are great, especially the cheesecakes. What an absolute gem in Kings Heath, very lucky to have this here.

I found this amazing place via Google search what vegan places are near me. This place did not disappoint the food was delicious, generous portions and it was made fresh, I ordered the special which was oyster mushroom style chicken burger with skin on fries, onion wedges which were my fave it had a garlic seasoning on it was so delicious, my burger was epic it was in a brioche bun and again portion was good. I finished off with blueberry loaf cake and that was morish. I spoke to the owners who served us 2 lovely ladies and they were so engaging and spoke all things vegan. I will be back here most definitely and it's beneficial to support local independent businesses, the food was quality I 100% recommended this place go check it, thank you so much for the hospitality and serving us a lovely lunch ☺️

This is by far the best place to eat in King's Heath - the staff are so lovely and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious and very affordable. A brilliant vegan place, and I'm not even vegan, and I'm not missing anything. We even consider eating anywhere else on the high street since eating here for the first time. Not a bad word to say.

been visiting on Saturday. Lovely place, but still quite a few things need attention. First our meal (burger) and chips were served without any cutlery and sauces. I would expect a burger to be served with a chips, but you need to order it separately. Paid £28 for the order (two burgers, two portion of fries and two teas) and to be fair it was rather expensive if you compare to the competitors. Burger looks rather poor for the money, too. The waiter was very polite, and general setting was clean and nice.

Love this place. I eat here all the time. The girls are lovely. Food is great. The tres leches cakes are amazing as well as the milkshakes. I get feta wraps and you could never tell its vegan. There's lots of places round King's heath bit this is definitely my favourite. ❤ Update 2 months later... Still love this place. They do daily specials as well as whats on the menu that are great. I eat here every day now. I even end up buying food to take home for my dinner because I've never had a bad meal here. For the quality of the food and the fact everything is vegan I'm very happy with my food and the service here every time I've come. Would highly recommend!

After spending a few hours at the local climbing wall I alway stop off at Plant N Plate to feed my ravenous appetite and this place NEVER disapoints. The food is plentiful and delicious, the prices very reasonable and the staff are extremely accommodating and very friendly.

Delicious food, I've had both the buffalo and pesto wraps now and they're both so good, even the chips are really good. The loveliest staff ever, me and my friend went in on Valentine's day and they gave us a free shortbread each! Can't wait until we can go and sit inside with a coffee and soak in the lovely vibe. The most incredible vegan food I've tasted ! The staff are firstly an absolute delight and make you feel so valued. The food itself is such high quality- no more disappointing takeaway soggy cold food- Plant N plate is delicious ! Generous portions and you feel healthy afterwards. A personal favourite is the paninis! A very large selection to choose from and rich indulgent cakes. Can't wait to try the vegan breakfasts. Seems a fairly conventional menu, but the food was of high quality and actually really tasty. I would struggle to differentiate meat versions of the New York Deli and Hoy Sin duck. Great service too!

I'm impressed with the many things that Plant N Plate has to offer. I've been here a dozen times now and have tried lots of different food & drink choices. There is outdoor seating where you can enjoy Lavazza coffee or a glass of wine in the sunshine. Themed party nights happen here. A special mention must go to the fantastic and friendly Alex & Lily who make sure that the food standards are kept high. Now my family and friends are regulars. A gem in Kings Heath. Thanks guys.

We visited for the first time today. We got the American burger, and the buffalo burger, with sides. I had the buffalo burger and the tofu that made up the chicken patty was so delicious and so tender! My husband had the American burger and he also said it was one of the best burgers he’s ever had in his life. I can’t wait to be able to sit in and eat. Staff were super friendly. And fantastic value for money. So pleased this place has come to Kings Heath! 👏👏👏👏

I tried the Buffalo Burger and it was amazing! Also had the Not Turkey Christmas Dinner from these guys and for the first time since I stopped eating meat, I was full and satisfied from my Christmas dinner! What a lovely new cafe. Had the daily special, Ackee and jack fruit with Macon cheese and coleslaw. Lovely, I am not a vegetarian but like to try different food; it was delicious.
