K. H.We had the chance to sample some dishes off the new menu which were all delicious. Would recommend the hot mess starter and the beyond meat burger. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes!! Portions and prices are great value for money, especially with the deals that you can get.
C.Really good and great value.
The service is very good and the two ladies who served us at our table ,both gave great service, both very helpful.. Food was lovely , nice and hot on the plate . This is a great pub to visit
H. H.We held my sons school prom at the Drakes Drum last night.
We booked the function room a few months back and took a chance if Boris would allow bigger gatherings/groups and even parties to go ahead. Lorri the manager has just been amazing from start to finish. I think we drove her mad at times stressing over what might be allowed and what might not but Lorri always kept us in the loop and up to date with everything.
She even took time out of her day off to contact me about something and called me off her own personal mobile. She really does go above and beyond and because of Lorri we had 80 happy children last night who had the best prom and a night to remember. Would highly recommend the Drakes Drum for functions and Lorri we will be back. Whether it's for food or drink we will see you soon.
C. W.Recently moved to the area and thought I'd pop into Drakes Drum for lunch. Really disappointed with the choice of kids burger meal. Hard burger with a tomato and lettuce leaf slapped ontop - dry. Chips tasted like they'd come out of a frozen bag from Iceland. Saying that, the staff were really friendly and the place was clean. I would go back again for drinks and their themed nights, but sadly not for food.

B. J.The food is served fresh and hot on a sizzling skillet, truly lives up to the brand name. My favourite sizzling pub in the area. The drinks are not only high quality, they're also extremely cheap. The staff are delightful, very welcoming and willing to help.

E. L.Standard Sizzling pub. Spent a bit on the remodel but little on the upkeep. Car park and bushes stuffed with litter. Ashtrays overflowing. Outside tables only cleaned when rained on.
Food and drink are good enough for the price. Wouldn't take much to clean up the outside and make a better first impression.

P. G.The Drake's Drum is a very average pub. Part of the sizzling chain, it offers standard food and drink at affordable prices. There are deals that offer a meal and a drink, but I still feel overall it isn't great value for money.
