S. D.We came here for a family meal, we were surprised at the quality of the food, the service we received was amazing and the Fish & Chips were amazing, I would recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely to see the place all done up ready for new a menu made a real effort and different from the day to day effort the team make. The staff all looked clean and smart, new the answers to any questions we had on the food, the food was amazing the atmosphere was great the new calamari starter is a big hit from me! We have visited on a few occasions and was severed by a girl called Jade I found her service shoddy and rude! Over heard her and other staff being spiteful about Abbie disgraceful! She is the best bar staff there in my opinion.

S. “.This is a lovely friendly place to go for a lunch time treat with family. It offers a range of steaks, grills and burgers etc for very reasonable prices. It's not cordon bleu cooking but the meals were hot and tasty and the service was speedy and efficient. My only complaint was that there were no salads available on the menu given that this review is written in the summer, but I would definitely eat there again.

J. “. R.First time we booked a table here, we were sent away saying the system shouldn't have booked us in as the kitchen closes at 8 pm.
Really annoyed about that since couple time for us is incredibly rare and we had to quickly find a different pub.
Second time we went there with the kids and it was alright. Staff should be a bit more attentive, food isn't anything extraordinary, your regular franchise pub food. But not bad.

All friendly and attentive. We all chose steak and chicken combo. Amazing melt in your mouth food cooked to perfection. Well done chef. Couldn't fault food at all. We ordered desserts after finishing our meals. They arrived but our table hadn't been cleared first. Bit picky i know but maybe would have given 5 stars. Will definitely return and try something else on menu. Pat on the back to all

The food looked amazing on the menu but it wasn't too great when it arrived. Ordered a steak, cooked rare, came out medium/well and as it's on a hot plate it continued cooking as I ate which just worsened the situation. Other people with me enjoyed their food except from one, who's food was also overcooked and hard to eat.

B. B.Don't visit the "Moon" if you have mobility difficulties. Disabled parking, two bays are provided but are regularly abused by able bodied, ignorent patrons. The terracing at the front (cobbled) has , been damaged so badly by again ignorent drivers,, it is indeed "craters of the "Moon". The new benches & tables at the front are a welcome addition if you dont break your neck getting to them.
The staff behind the bar are usually friendly and helpful, but there does appear to be a lack of strong management..

Noisy pub though. Lots of screaming children. One thing would help, if they sorted the back door out. People use it to go outside to smoke or to the carpark, but it slams to every time. You will leave with a full belly but a headache.
