1st Nov, our family arrived here for a special meal. We was greeted by the friendly staff and looked after. We was very Comfortable and we had a fantastic evening - the food was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best Greek restaurant in Birmingham! The atmosphere was nice, the decor was so cool and the food is to die for, it also one of the best tasting wine ever! I don't care if the price will put a hole in your wallet, but it's worth everything you pay! I'll be coming back soon

Had a really great Xmas party here with a group of friends. Considering their captive audience I'd expect to pay less than £4 for a pint of lemonade. The hosts were lovely, a little frazzled as you can imagine with a full restaurant. The lady felt the need to check the presents I'd given out (ltr bottles of booze) to friends to see they weren't opened. I brushed this off but felt annoyed she picked up the bag herself and didn't ask to be shown. I didn't check if any other table had been treated the same. Like I say, frazzled. The food was fine, very filling. Good luck to them 👍

We ate here last night, prior to going to the O2 academy ( just over the road). Only in Birmingham for the night but wanted Greek food. The Ulysses didn't disappoint 😊 We got there early (530) so we're the only ones in at the time . The host was brilliant - friendly and fun. The food was great. We both had a Greek platter which was delicious, massive and cooked to perfection. He even added an extra meat dish ( ox liver) for free for us to try - it was yummy. Price was good for the size and quality . Would certainly go here again if in Birmingham .

This place was really beautiful. It is more than just a restaurant. As soon we walked in we were amazed by the decor and the friendliness of the staff. For me it was like I would be in Greece. The food was delicious and inexpensive. My friend and I loved this place so much!!! And we will definitely come back in Birmingham because of this restaurant! As we were going to see a gig at the o2 (opposite via subway) we had to eat pretty early - 5pm - which meant we were the only ones in the restaurant, however this was a bit of a bonus really because we got to chat to the owner Pavos. He waited on and looked after us all the time we were there, serving excellent Greek food with huge charm. He found out we love Greece and recommended islands to visit and holiday on so the evening flew far too fast. I would love to come back when its busy to experience the atmosphere and dancing. Highly recommended, thank you Pavos

Went there on Friday 27th Jan, the food was excellent especially the kleftiko that my wife ordered. The restaurant had a live belly dancer and we really enjoyed our evening. Good value for money too. A must to visit in Birmingham. Thank you Ulysses. We will be back.

One of the best Greek food I’ve had outside of Greece. Panos is very friendly and polite. Giorgos the chef is a great cook and the food brought back memories of home. Go for the meze so you can have a bit of everything. There will be plenty! Will definitely go again when in Birmingham.

wow... I visited here last night for my birthdays as I love the food,, upon entrance the restaurant is huge and because I visited ln a Tuesday evening it wasn't very busy after quickly browsing the restuarant menu I decided on the Spanakopita pie for a starter and a mixed grill for main course,, the spanakopita was oven cooked and melted in the mouth was delicious and the mixed grill was brilliant charcoaled meats I especially enjoyed the chicken, fillet steak and lamb chop. what blew me away was the customer service the guy in charge was just such a nice man and he gave me a free portion of baclava which I really appreciated not only this he sat and chatted with me for a good half an hour ! brilliant guy I will be recommending this restaurant to all of my friends and would return without hesitation !

Last night we visited the Greek / Mediterranean's cuisine. restaurant Ulysses at around 21.00. It is a very nice,beautiful place. The owner was Great-friendly & welcome way, The waiter was quick-friendly-helpful All the dishes we tried were too delicious The pods of dining Large / Hearty and reasonable price. We tested greek salad (served with extra virgin olive oil,& excellent cheese "feta") mousakas(interesting plate),mezes,ntolmades,kleftiko. We drank a very nice greek red wine & some of us greek beers. For dessert we tasted greek-baklava The owner-Panos & the store personel , they were everyone friendly,nobles .. Interesting restaurant a strongly recomended possible note for Mediteranean kitchen in the Birmingham town. Try you to take a visit up there... thanks to all stuff.. we'll coming soon

We visited bar-restaurant "Ulysses"second time in the last months for diner. In the known very nice large area with beautiful atmosphere. Once again great-friendly welcome way, The waiter was quick-friendly-helpful ...--a professional-- Great-varied menu,with the most representative dishes of Greek / Mediterranean cuisine. All the dishes we tried were too delicious, and with high quality materials .. eg. (extra virgin olive oil, the cheese "feta" EXCELLENT quality..etc) The pods of dining Large / Hearty and reasonable price. * this time we selected & we tryed by : mousakas delicious - at all, Haloumi-saganaki,cheese "feta", ntolmades, kleftiko, stifado, "mezes". From the wines cellar,by the best Greek wines,red & white.., we decided this time to try an extremely ORGANIC dry red wine ("Porfyros" -excellent taste / color / flavor deep black cherry red colour, intense aromas of red berry fruit and a spicy oak). After dinner, the store, it was offered us for dessert a very nice/good plate by Greek sweets baklava & galactoboureko. The owner Panos & store personnel, they were everyone FRIENDLY-noble-helpful .. Interesting restaurant a strongly possible note, most powerfull hit point for Mediteranean kitchen at all-in the Birmingham Worthwhile you take a visit up there... * Note a very good finding: The public areas-wc..etc These are all scrupulously clean, (hot water,soaps,machine hot air hand dryer etc.)

Amazing leg of lamb! When I got there I was the only one there, but had a nice experience chatting with the owner, taking in the (a bit over-the-top) decor, and listening to Greek music. Enjoyed it very much.
