I had Frankie today. She was absolutely amazing and wagamamas is lucky to have her. The service provided was great, warm and welcoming. Could not have been happier. She was fast, efficient and helped everyone around her. I can't wait to hopefully come back in the future.

First time here and we totally enjoy! It was really amazing if you don't eat meat they have plenty of choices soo tasty, it's not noisy around, the staff was very friendly with their customers and the food came quickly, very generous portion . Nice food, but not the best Ramen in town. Service was good, but the restaurant is a little on the noisy side due to its acoustics. I enjoyed the food and reasonably priced, but as with a lot of restaurants offering a type of food from another country or culture the food has been changed to better fit local tastes (IMHO having dined at many Ramen, Soba and Udon restaurants in Japan), but definitely worth visiting if you like the food and relaxed atmosphere. We have been before and I would go again, but probably not for Ramen.

First time experiencing a Wagamama so didn't know exactly what to expect! Visited for lunch and our food turned up within minutes of ordering. I had the Katsu Chicken curry which was simple but delicious and really filled me up for the rest of the afternoon. The Nourish Mint smoothie was so refreshing too! The dividers splitting up the benches made me feel a little more comfortable with COVID. Only let down to our visit was it took ages for somebody to acknowledge us to pay up once we'd finished, you can pay using your phone by scanning a QR-code on the menu so I would highly recommend doing this. Look forward to my next visit though to try the other menu offerings. 😁

Absolutely incredible staff and food, we enjoy eating here most weeks and have not once been disappointed! The staff are always so warms and welcoming and the food is always fast and amazing. On the single occasion where my food arrived later than expected, the issue was rectified immediately and the dish was complementary for the inconvenience. I can not overstate how incredible this restaurant is and how inviting all of the staff are!

Me and my partner constantly eat at this particular Wagamama’s restaurant and we have never been disappointed or let down. Our food is constantly cooked to the same, high standard, each visit. Came here on Tuesday 21st December. I had No Duck donburi, green tea, water and half a bottle of wine. The service from all of the staff was exceptional. I could not fault anyone. The first person we had interaction was with Nick who promptly cleaned a table, got us seated, and took our drinks order in a friendly and efficient manner. He took down all of our allergies and gave honest answers to all of our questions which was appreciated. We also spoke to Diana who also had exceptional service. She spoke to us like humans (sounds crazy, but it's the truth) which is a very undervalued quality. She gave us quality time and and responded to everything we said. The added bonus of the evening was that our bill was paid for by Wagamama due to the 12 days of Christmas campaign. It was an amazing and heartfelt gesture. Diana confirmed to us that they pick one set of customers, and they ended up choosing us. Thank you to all of the staff at Wagamamas. I will definitely be eating here again and I won't mind paying next time 😊

Food was absolutely excellent and if you're vegetarian/vegan, even the limited menu has lots of really good options. Really good selection of beers and wines (two of them vegan too!) , as well as lots of good non-alcoholic options

Delicious food, courteous staff, reasonable prices and good ambience. Was in the waiting queue for 10 mins and the staff came and explained on the menu, waiting time, even offered an umbrella for the light rain. Will definitely return with friends and family. Tip: Only thing to remember is the food comes whenever it is ready, so don't order everything in one go as main course will get cold by the time you finish your starters. Order the starters first and then main course.

Wagamama is a favourite of our family. First time dining solo here, and unfortunately I got missed, waited ages and then had to grab someone to take my order. However they more than redeemed themselves with genuine apology, rushing through my order and then not taking payment. I really appreciated the gesture.

It was OK. Perfect for a relaxed dinner on the move.⁣ . ⁣ Verdict: To be added to the list of "regulars"⁣ . ⁣ Décor: 6/10⁣⁣ Food: 8/10⁣⁣ Service: 9/10⁣⁣ Overall: 8/10⁣⁣ . ⁣ Background:⁣ Wagamamas is a large chain of restaurants serving Japanese inspired cuisine across the UK & Europe. We had been meaning to visit for a while, firstly because one of us had never been, and also because of the recent addition of a "vegan egg" to the menu. We visited on 13 December, after a visit to the Bullring. ⁣⁣ Food:⁣ On the recommendation of my girlfriend, we went for a "Yasai Katsu" curry each, with a side of "Bang Bang Cauliflower" to share, and a "Vegan Egg" to try. The Curry was based around sweet potato slices battered in sweet breadcrumbs, and served with sticky rice, vegetables and pickles in a "katsu" sauce. The dish tasted great and was very filling; neither of us were able to completely finish. The Cauliflower side was a little spicy for our pallettes but one order ample to be shared. The Vegan Egg was far from exceptional; a little pasty and vinegary tasting and we whilst we are glad we tried it, we wouldn't be ordering it again. ⁣ ⁣ We had the "White Chocolate & Ginger Cheesecake" (great, as expected) and "White Chocolate & Matcha Cheesecake" (hesitantly, not liking Matcha from previous experience, but glad we had tried it as it was surprisingly good). The offer of complimentary green tea at the end was much appreciated.⁣ ⁣⁣ Service:⁣ The venue was very busy on arrival, which is expected this close to Christmas. Seeing this and the seating arrangements, we asked whether we could sit side-by-side but were initially refused. We made the same request to the staff within the restaurant and it was accepted. This was appreciated given that the restaurant was so noisy and had we been sitting opposite each other we would have struggled to hear each other.⁣ ⁣⁣ Decor:⁣ It was very cold the night we visited, and there was a draught blowing throughout the restaurant. Even though we were sat towards the centre of the restaurant and there was an "air-curtain" at the door, it was still felt due to the constant opening of the door. Timing: We stayed for around 90 mins, which was plenty.

Taken my girlfriend to Wagamama for the first time and we couldn't have asked for better service. We were served by Anna and she always made sure we have everything we need. She gave great recommendation on food for my girlfriend and offered great comfort. The food itself was really delicious and tasted extremely fresh. We had the squid, bang bang coliflower and some beef buns as sides which were all delicious and brought to us in quick manner. For mains we had the noodles and curry which was brought not too long after our starters. Will be coming back for more.

Visited Wagamama Bullring many times as well as the one on New Street. We stopped going to them in Birmingham due to orders being wrong, taking a long time and food being not a usual standard. I’m pleased to say that when we visited on 27th November at lunch time it was really good. I was surprised to see how staff attitude had improved massively compared to previous visits. The food was absolutely bang on. It all came together which is what we asked for. The food was nice fresh and hot. We ordered the ‘Bang Bang cauliflower’ ‘fried squid’ ‘naked katsu curry’ ‘pork belly ramen noodle’ x2 free green teas and a large super green drink. Staff did bill me incorrectly at the end (less than it should of been) but was polite and apologetic explaining he was new, this made me feel ok about it and so paid the remaining amount. We are only human after all and his service was great as were all the staff in there that day. We will return and I hope the same standard is there when we do. Well done guys at Wagamama 👍🏻

Date Day with boyfriend excellent food can be had at Wagamama Birm Bullring never left unhappy. Food came out in under 30mins extremely hot and fresh. Server was a really nice young lad. I've been you quite a few Wagamamas and whilst this is in with the brand it was the most disappointing meal. I had my usual of chili chicken ramen but the noodles were sticky and slimy. Thought I would surprise my partner with a quick meal here and instead had the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant- Robbie was our dedicated waiter/server and I have to say that guy was phenomenal, never met someone who was so genuinely invested in making sure we had a good time and enjoyed our stay to perfection, and thanks to him thats exactly what the night was. I went to Wagamama in Birmingham and few weeks ago and I can tell you now that it is fantastic! You walk in and you see an open kitchen where you can actually see your food being prepared and the entire place is full of families so it has a real family friendly environment. I had, for my starter, the duck pancakes and hen the firecracker curry for my main. I then finished with dessert of ice cream orange. The food was brilliant! They give you a choice of drinks as well ... I had the Sake which was good. Overall it was a pleasant experience with friendly staff, good atmosphere and good food. Would recommend.

Wagamama is my favourite type of food so for me it's always a high score! Food as always was super fresh and tasty. The green tea is free! I took full advantage and had 4 cups lol. Price is reasonable for what you get. I'd give it 5 stars other than in this specific restaurant space is limited and as a result it got a little too hot and noisy. Apart from that, faultless! The lady who served us was also really lovely

Food very nice, I think this is the best wagamama branch in Birmingham right next to the bullring. Food is generous with ample portions at this branch, staff even gave us complimentary side as the chef's had made an extra accidentally, which was a nice treat, better than throwing it away. Food comes out when it's ready and mostly you sit on benches in the middle (there are a few booths) but as long as you're in the right mood it's great! I have eaten here three times - the single instance where their service was anything less than excellent (a hiccup with one of our orders) was rectified immediately with no extra charge or hassle. They have individual menus for dietary choices, including a gluten-free menu and a vegan menu. The Katsu Curry (breadcrumbed sweet potato and aubergine) this place serves is honestly one of the best meals i've ever tasted. Even during peak time, when the place is absolutely rammed, two people can eat within 20 minutes of ordering. Easily earns 5 stars.

Emils was very knowledgeable about the content and the taste of many dishes on the menu, which governed our choices. He was polite and nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had an enjoyable time. Mitzi was also very polite and courteous, and was happy to hear our views re: our meals. Their attitude was very genuine towards us, and not forced, as I have experienced a few times in the past. Our meals came to us, as soon as cooked and prepared from the kitchen. They were colourful in appearance, and were full of flavour. Including the courtesy 10 % on the bill, each of the group were able to enjoy two courses and drinks for approximately £20 each, so definitely great value. Each of our group told me that they would be very happy to return..Guys..THANK YOU SO MUCH for a REALLY LOVELY evening, and you can be sure of my (and my colleagues') return in the near future :-)

As you know -or maybe not?- you can find three different wagamama's in town at the moment, one in bullring, the one in Brindley Place, and the most new one, in New st. I normally go to the one in New st because is literally one minute away from my workplace. All of them have plenty space and sunlight, because all the walls, or almost all of them are windows. I love that.
