I was invited by my friend who had food there before and recommended that we should meet up at Wagamama for our next meal. The food was great! There was someone at the door for meet and greet - very friendly girl who I just said that I am here to meet up with my friend . She directed me to our table , my friend was already there. There are vegan and normal menus on the table. The dishes are explained well as the names of the dishes are a just little difficult to pronounce. They have dish number too so solved the problem for me! Also, the table assistance was great. The food came out quick ! It was well presented as given in pictures. It was good temperature. The ambience was very nice. The place was nice and clean. Table were cleaned and wiped straight after. Will definitely go there again 5/5

Visited wagamama to have our dinner before the movie we had planned a night. It was a quite tight schedule we had and we informed our friendly waiter that we might have to run. The staff made a note that the order needs to be provided swiftly and he got it to us in 7 minutes!!! The quality was exquisite and presentation, service and the taste were top quality too. I'd have given 5 stars if the tables were a bit more comfortable and not sticky. Wagamama has been my favourite for ages and this branch was exemplary of its quality.

I visited wagamama, the restaurant was quite busy but the staff was professional and attended us in time. I ordered the mushroom buns, new chicken raisukaree and firecracker tofu. Food looked lush and tasted absolutely amazing, I will be trying tofu next time. Highly recommended, will come back again !

Outstanding plant based food. Really great and big variety. Check out the pics! Their COVID policy was excellent: plenty of well spaced tables outside, staff all kept distance & all staff wore surgical masks properly. I also saw them heavily cleaning all tables and seats between customers. 5/5.

Love the fact that you can pay online to save us waiting for the bill, the food came out fairly quickly. Like any other wagamamas, it was expensive but the portions are big. I love the vegan sticky ribs but the pad Thai was a little bland

The Best Wagamama in every way! (And we have been to a few!) Best Service Best Meal Best Experience! We were greeted at the door by a lovely member of staff who showed us to our table. The table had sides between them due to Covid but it also gives you a bit of privacy too so I hope Wagamama keeps them up even after Covid. We had a server called Romal (orJomal - sorry not sure on spelling!) And he was really nice, always had a smile and making us laugh. I ordered a Yasai Curry and my Fiancé ordered Shirodashi Ramen and wanted it with Udon Noodles instead of the Noodles it's normally served with ,this was absolutely no problem to them and by doing this it made it the best Wagamama he has ever had. The Yasai Curry was also really nice and traditional tasting. The best part - they came out together and super quick!! (Not like our recent visit to the Nottingham branch!) We ordered green tea (it's free!) Which was a really nice treat to have. There were chopsticks on the table as well as cutlery which was great to have an option - especially when it comes to the curry. It was easy to pay through the QR code. Toilets were clean In a great location and would highly recommend. We are 100% going back to this branch!

First of all, I've come to Wagamama when it's just opened. But the staff are very warm welcome and take care attitude. The food is nice with oriental fusion style. This time is my second and open minded for trying the fusion food. The first time, I just came to UK and still stuck with authentic once and I always told my friend there was not like original as I used to eat before in the original country. On the other hand, I still heard many friends told me that they love Wagamama when we started chatting about Japanese food. So, I came here to taste the food for Wagamama with no biases. So, I confirm as my friends said, there is the oriental fusion and delicious.

Could do better in their vegan menu as this is limited to choice. Set meal menu limitedcas some in our party liked to added extra spice to the food but were informed that is not allowed as all the menus as set as described, which is fine for majority but like others prefer some variety. Probably the best Wagamama in Brum. Vegan friendly and the staff are welcoming but not overbearing. Appreciate being able to pay on my phone. The new no-duck donburi (pictured, with vegan mushroom buns) is decent but I will probably stick to the vegan favourite, the kare burosu ramen.

Very impressed with the staff at this restaurant. We visited today with my sister and she has a back problem which means she has to sit somewhere with a proper back on the seat. First place that I've been since the most recent lockdown (May 2021). My partner and I shared a side of Bang Bang cauliflower, slightly spicy, sweet, and a suprinsgly large portion. For our mains we both had 'tantanmen barbecue beef'. The portion was more than enough and the ingredients tasted great, one thing noticed was my partners broth tasted a lot better than mine (seemed like more salt was added). Overall the meal was fantastic. Due to covid we were seated outside and this particular location (New Street) has cover from rain. We were seated in the cover and even when it began to rain we were adequately sheltered. Staff were lovely and very lively dealing.

Food was gorgeous to the extent that the name alone makes my mouth water. Wagamamas firecracker recipe us good for people who like a punch if flavour. They also cater for people with a mild taste with the kstsu which is also gorgeous.

🌱 Wagamama, New Street - Check us on Insta - Earlier in the week we were invited to experience the new vegan tasting menu at @wagamama_uk on New Street. - @wagamama_uk do many vegan options but this is their new menu in support of veganuary. If you love Japanese food or want to try a plant based diet then pop down to @wagamama_uk - We tried all the starters, mains and desserts from the new menu and here is our verdict of the mains. - First was the vegan suika tuna which is dehydrated watermelon on a bed of rice with guac, radish and dried onions. The watermelon tasted interesting, a little sweet and the texture wasn’t bad either. Not like tuna but very pleasant. Definitely the best dish. - Second was the BBQ glazed seitan with rice, carrots, beans and vegan egg which was made from coconut and sriracha. Not sure what Seitan is but it looked like meat and had a hard texture. Probably second best main dish. - Third dish was the kare burosu, a soup dish made from veg and tofu with brown rice. It tasted great but the tofu just wasn’t for me as was like biting in to a cube of slimy air. - Definitely pop down to @wagamama_uk and give the new vegan menu ago. The only thing that let's it down are the toilets always seem to be disgusting. As a single dad I usually have to take my daughter in the men's for a wee and there is always mens wee all over the floor and seat. Someone needs to check this more often as it is just lazy to let them get to that state regularly. Shame as it really let's the place down. Food is really good though.

Great ramen, my go to dish as a vegetarian was the katsu curry for a long time but this time I tried the ramen bowl which was amazing. The drinks are so fresh with a tinge of spice in ginger based ones. Also the bao buns are an absolute favourite. Recommended the buns to my friends and they enjoyed it too.

I was one of those people who are difficult and must avoid eating one certain thing - annoying, I know - but the manager who served us was so nice and caring. This particular branch on New Street never disappointed me. Haven't been in a while and came in today, bit of a rush, but I've been seated down and served almost immediately as I walked in. All of my food and drinks came out quickly and the food was fantastic. Natalie was my server today and she's been so amazing, so polite and bubbly and made my day. Thanks, Natalie! :)

I have wanted to try Wagamana, this was my first visit. We went about 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy and we had approx. 10-15 minute wait to be seated, it was worth the wait though. Once seated we had a couple of minutes to decide what we wanted to eat and gave our order to the waitress. The menu catered for meat eaters, and had vegetarian and vegan options. What seemed like just a couple of minutes later our food arrived. Very well presented and looked and smelt very tasty. I had the duck which was delicious with a green tea. The green tea cleansed the palate and made a very welcome change to the fizzy pops usually served. I'm already looking forward to visiting again and trying something else there. Service was good, good value for money, food very tasty. I would definitely recommend a visit.

First time dining at any Wagamama. The serving was friendly and prompt. The prices are very good for the amount of food you receive. The waitress explain the menu to us and that because it's all cooked fresh and eat dish takes different times to cook, the dishes might come out at different times. Ours came out pretty quick and together. I had the chicken donburi in teriyaki sauce which comes with sticky white rice, shredded carrots, pea shoots and onions. garnished with sesame seeds and served with a side of kimchee. It was beautiful and I would order it again and again. I would highly recommend anyone eat here.

Love the fresh juice, they used to sell a super green juice but in my recent visit, heard back they 've change it to another ingredients. The variety was absuloytely great. We went to Wagamama's as a birthday treat for a friend. We were rather pleasantly seated overlooking the kitchen, the atmosphere in the restaurant can't be faulted, and the décor was modern and elegant. Our waitress was extremely friendly and polite and really added to our experience. Unfortunately, the food tasted as if it was lacking something, I would consider it rather bland, discouraging as this kind of food should be anything but. Quite a few of us agreed that the food was somewhat underwhelming considering the rather steep asking price. My main dish was pleasant, but at £5.95 the Pork BBQ ribs felt minuscule, and there was hardly any meat (yet they did taste great!). The desert on the other hand was an absolute disappointment. I ordered the Chocolate Fudge Cake; it cost about as much as an entire cake in a supermarket, but sadly was neither chocolatey nor fudgey! Overall I wouldn't dissuade you from visiting this restaurant, but for the price you may be left with a bad taste in your mouth (we paid just under £30 each on average).
