Amazing ambience! Food variety was limited and yet very tasty! The buffet was replenished before it could get empty! Good customer service! The Robots are cute! Toilets weren't the cleanest post lunch time! Located a 10 minute walk away from the beach! Madeira car park is the closest and Street parking available in the area on the weekends!

When we arrived at COSMO the staff was really welcoming.
After a couple of mins a waiter took us to our table and took our drinks order.
Thank you to Giovanni and James that have provided a friendly and fast service.
We have had few different dishes as we wanted to try a bit of all our favourites.
We had some Chinese starters then we had Indian curry and sushi, we were happy with the food taste in general and I also had a slice of the pepperoni pizza which I really enjoyed as it was really cheesy and soft with the crunchy cornicione (border).
The sushi was the only food I thought that the taste it was a bit bland and not many choices of it.
The restaurant was clean and organised.
I recommend COSMO restaurant for families catch up dates.

Amazing buffet!
A huge amount of cuisines to choose from: Chinese, Indian, Italian, Japanese, American & British. The food was well seasoned, a lot of dessert options ranging from fresh fruits to cakes. Empty chafing dishes were immediately changed for new batch of food.
A lot of seating able to accommodate more than 100 people from what I saw and tables were always cleaned and prepared frequently for the next customers.
An overall great experience!

Would give it a 3.5/5 overall, some parts of the Asian/Indian buffet were very tasty but the Tepanyaki meat was a let down. We tried the beef and ribs, both were chewy/inedible and had no flavour. The mussels were awful and I had to spit them out. Apart from these few downfalls, the chicken wings and grilled pineapple were very good. We were happy with everything else. The robot waiters were fun and the staff were very friendly and professional. The deserts were very lovely.

First off, I'm not the best person to review this place, as I'm not a foreign food lover.
COSMO offered foods from around the world, with lots of choice on offer, however I was really there for the carvery. Yorkshire puddings were small, I believe packet frozen ones, (and cold) as we're the roast potatoes, hot as straight out of the oven. Beef was gristly, gammon superb, no turkey on offer this occasion. I had expected this all to be home cooked, it was my first visit. The gravy 'was' home made but full of mushrooms and other items, lacked any taste and was cold.
Burger was dry, fries thin and lacked anything, and pizza (at the time) looked unappealing, although fresh pizza arrived later but I'd had my dessert by then.
So for £20 the quality was not there, but choice and quantity in abundance.
I did better with the dessert choices which were plentiful and delicious.
The table staff were frequent, friendly and efficient. The carvery staff miserable and barely spoke and were not happy to be there.
As a boy on a budget I probably wouldn't return, there are better carveries out there for half the price, and the burger and fries option was dry and bland not to be repeated. If they did a pudding only ticket I'd be there weekly 🤗
I think my two friends enjoyed their foods from the world more, which I guess is where this place excels. It's worth the experience. The venue was large, modern, busy. Drinks were extra, a refill being £3.85 (August 2022). Toilets down a very grand staircase, modern, intact and relatively clean.
I tried to be fair in this review, as I experienced it.

Really nicely done out, super friendly staff and my family thought the food was delicious. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that for me (vegetarian) there was very little choice as the options were very meat heavy - if you are vegan you would have an even narrower choice (about two dishes) . A mushroom dish and rice noodles would be enough. Other than this, it was a really lovely experience.

Welcoming staff, very friendly and efficient
And the robots! :)
Tasty food, many choices, probably better than the one in Southampton

Absolutely recommend. I would personally disagree with all the negative comments, food is super delicious, especially if you’re a fan of Chinese/Japanese/Korean cuisines. Special big thank you to every singe chef that cooks such a tasty foods!
Planning to come back as me and my partner loved it. The place itself is very authentic, clean and beautiful. Worth the money 100%

The interior was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were extremely nice, we immediately got seated and asked for which drinks we wanted. The food itself was amazing, the chefs managed to keep the food fresh by constantly restocking anything that had been eaten- I had low expectations for the sushi as most buffet style places tend to have very dry or bland sushi but the sushi here managed to blow my mind, it was up to par with a sushi based restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a lack of variety in cuisine with the Korean and Italian sections being minuscule, you can tell that this place is heavily influenced by asian food as the asian sections tasted a lot better than everything else. Another downside was the lack of vegetarian/ vegan options, luckily this didn’t manage to affect me but i couldn’t help to notice the lack of food for any dietary needs. The kitchen also closes quite early so if you get there for an evening meal, the desserts will be sparse by the time you get there but that is more likely a timing issue on the customers part. Overall the food was too good to give a low rating, i just believe a few things could be fixed in order to have a five star experience.
