Y. K.Food was absolutely amazing!! You can tell that the food here is truly authentic and they really don’t play with the spice and flavours. We had the chilli fish starter, lamb curry , garlic naan, egg fried rice and lamb masala dosa and everything was 10/10. So so impressed with the quality of the food and the incredible flavours. The spice level is not for the faint hearted though . Only issue is that service is very very slow , they definitely need to hire more waiters, I really wish I could give it 5 stars but the food really deserves it but the service was just too slow . However , the service is not enough to put me off, this will be my main spot In Bournemouth for South Indian/ Sri Lankan food.
D. B.Food was really good and the servers were friendly. However we did struggle with the layout of the menu which made it difficult to understand our options. Happy to try again and now that it all makes more sense.

P. O.Authentic Indian food. Value for money. Quick and friendly service. Try their medu vada and biryani. Food is a little on spicier side. Menu needs more desserts. Affordable delicious original Indian food.
S. C.South India and Sri Lanka share some food principles and flavours. It was a delight to find these in Bournemouth. Dosa World is a popular hangout for Indian students and Tech workers; evidence if it was needed of just how good this place is.
Service on a quiet Tuesday was measured but timely. I had Medhu Vadda to start, a rice cake smothered in Sambar (a richly spiced, pepper hot soup). The main course was Masala Dosa, a crisp pancake of fermented lentil cooked on a super high heat - each one is a minor miracle (see picture). This came with a spicy potato filling and a variety of pickles, we also ordered a Prawn Chettinadu.
Each dish had a distinct flavour. Savoury, peppery hot and yet with a range of flavour notes after the initial hit, this is food which makes you feel alive. Delicious.

S. B.Hidden gem! This place offers authentic South Indian flavours. We are fan of South Indian cuisine, esp. dosa and have been to various South Indian restaurants but this place has great flavours, is reasonably priced and has lovely attentive owners. Highly recommended if you like South Indian cuisine like us and are visiting Bournemouth.

D. A.Food and service was fantastic. Authentic South Indian taste. We were glad to chose this restaurant although there were a few other Indian restaurants in about Bournemouth. Prices were reasonable, food tasted authentic South Indian. We would go back there whenever we are in Bournemouth again.
