g.A lovely little cafe which operates predominantly for pilots based at the airfield, but they also welcome visitors - especially bikers. A decent breakfast menu, reasonably priced and using decent ingredients. Be prepared for lots of aircraft chat from the other clientele but everyone was really friendly. The staff were brilliant, welcoming and the food was ready really quickly. Toilets are available in an adjoining building. The cafe overlooks the runway which is only 15-20 metres away, so it’s a great place for plane spotting.
It is an active airfield, so please drive carefully and respect signage to avoid venturing onto the runway. The road in can be a bit prone to potholes as well, so be aware of that too. Overall, an eclectic location and venue, but fun for a stop if you’re in the area.
