A mighty meal! Great tasting food, lovely incredibly warm team! Thoughtful decor and music to accompany the brilliant selection of meals. I would say the gravy was seemed very very salty but not enough to stop me enjoying everything! Also absolutely love the quality vegan options! Will be coming again for more and recommending to friends!

Awesome find! Driving to Bournemouth discovered this place and tried to book. No room but offered to let us know if a cancellation and luckily there was! Table at 6pm but never rushed to leave and spent a couple of hours in fantastic company with great Canadian cuisine and drinks.
All the staff are so friendly and conversation is there if you want it. Lots of regulars show this is no flash in the pan. But what comes out of the kitchen is the star. It’s impossible to find great Canadian food in the U.K. and here it is. If only there were a bowl of pierogis and bacon on their own 🤣
Great cocktails make it a super fun evening but you’ll need to be rolled out there’s so much food.

Honestly the only place to go in Bournemouth. Veggie friendly, AMAZING SERVICE. LGBT+ OWNED AND LGBT+ FRIENDLY 🌟🌟Food cooked with love. Everyone here clearly cares about this place and it shows. Food was so filling and cooked deliciously. I cannot rate this high enough for veggie and non-veggies (vegans there is options too 🌟) it's so nice to go to places where everyone cares and they make every customer feel welcome. Truly the GOAT eating place. BIG BIG RECOMMEND. food eaten: deep fried burrito, moose balls (Mac n cheese balls) and a 4 pint cheeky vinto

Highly recommended
Absolutely fabulous on every level
Wonderful friendly welcome
The food is out of this world and definitely prepared and cooked with love.
Our first visit of what will be many to come.
The menu offers something for everyone and the food exceeded our expectations.
Congratulations to these lovely ladies for offering ❤️ and great food on a plate.
Many thanks Joe and Jenny 🤗🤗

Visited for our anniversary dinner. Sat in the conservatory section with the bifold doors which was lovely in the heat! I ordered the deep fried burrito and my partner had the meatloaf and poutine, and we shared the mac and cheese balls for starter. The portions are all very generous, we had to box up the end of our meals to take home and had no room for pudding (sadly!). The price is probably 'mid-range', more than you would pay at chains but this is clearly a wonderful independent restaurant run with passion and care where we were more than happy to spend a little more. Cocktails were good, some unusual options, the staff were friendly and attentive and the music was top notch! We'll definitely be back 🌟

Stunning! What a lovely little restaurant...even the kids thought it was fantastic! The food...to die for! The Service...out of this World! Recommend everything! And don't leave without trying the key lime pie!!! Just wow! Thank you to everyone at Moose Kitchen...you rock!

Really friendly staff, clean place, food was OK. Poutine is meant to be French fries but they've used thick cut chips, the chips were also slightly overcooked so were grainy, and i think they've also put the poutine in the oven which isn't right. The cheese curds were delightful though and brought back memories of Canada.
The perogi burger again was OK, the patty itself was lovely, juicy, flavourful, but I don't think the perogi (potato dumpling stuffed with cheese) in the burger works, it became too carb heavy and needed more sauce to moisten it up.
There were only two tables when I arrived but food still took 30 minutes to come out, may have been short staffed on the kitchen.

We had our second visit today. Again we were not disappointed. I had a burrito with triple cooked chips it was delicious my husband had whiskey river burger and triple cooked chips. It was a big buerger and he really enjoyed it. For pudding I had the chocolate brownie, it was perfect crunchy on the outside gooey on the inside - it was so nice we forgot to take a photo!
As always food was amazing. Kay and the team were very friendly as usual. We will be back again soon, so many more meals on the menu to try next time we visit!
J. C.
Atmosphere was nice but the reason for only giving it 3 stars was just that the price is so steep for a burger. The meal attached was 21.50, which included and upgrade to poutine. The poutine was really nice, and for that reason I'm glad I upgraded but the burger was pretty standard for £17 alone and I don't feel the meal warranted such a steep cost.
S. G.
Omg. What can I say ..we read the menu and had to come here and it did not disappoint ..from when we walked in ...the friendly greeting to the relaxed atmosphere..we knew this was going to be good. Food was exceptional and fantastic portion sizes ...if you get to the desert menu you have done well. Would not hesitate to return. ❤️

Great quality food, really authentic. Kay is lovely, friendly and helpful; plus her music choices are awesome! We'll be back soon.

Prebooked this place before we came this evening. So glad we did Amazing delicious food which is freshly made. Kay and her staff made you feel welcome like they were welcolming you in to there home. This is an unique place I had the Whiskey River meat loaf never had meat loaf before definitely recommendvthis dish. The pancakes with ice cream and Canadian maple syrup enough for me and my fiance to share. Recommend this place when you on holiday and well worth the money.
A. K.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone the staff are so lovely and the food was amazing so tasty my fiancé had the Roast beef dip and i had the whiskey river meatloaf the sauce tasted amazing we then shared a dessert of Mississippi mudpie which they brought us two slices of because we was sharing such a good meal
M. L.
What is fine dining to you? To me, is when my tummy is full. Moose kitchen does just that, and for a very justified price.
The food is amazing, its Canadian/American taste and PORTIONS never disappoint, also, they have Clamato, which is kinda like Canada's national drink (some might consider drinking maple syrup, but not me).
By the way, I have never finished a main at moose kitchen, so I can't tell you how good the deserts are... I'm sure they are great.
STAFF IS GREAT, they are all very friendly and funny, being very caring of their customers. Props to Kay, she's the best.
MAKE SURE YOU BOOK THOUGH THEY ARE VERY BUSY, LIKE, ALWAYS!
Anyways, if you're ever in Bournemouth, go to Moose Kitchen. And if you're a Canadian/American in the British South Coast. Go. There. Now.

Wonderfully friendly staff, and the food was delicious, nice to have a hot burger where there was heat and flavor, went there based solely on reviews from here, was not disappointed, it lived up to the glowing reviews, so added my own. Will definitely go back and try the meatloaf. We both left full and happy.

Dined at the Moose twice last week during a week's visit to Bournemouth once is just not enough, our first visit was last year. The food is fantastic and after three courses I was fit to burst, my wife not being able to manage it all. Once again a really warm welcome from Kay, Sara and the team who really make you feel part of the Moose family. Can't wait to see you guys again next year.
P. B.
Writing this as I'm still sat in the restaurant waiting for desert as the main was too good. Wow, never knew Canadian food could be that nice, 10/10 super tasty, good portions , great decor/vibe and nice staff. Probably the best meal I've had in my life. Get the meatloaf. I don't even doubt the desert after the quality of the main. Ayy

Fell upon this place Saturday night , lucky to have been fitted in as was early. Food was superb, whiskey bourbon sauce is a must have. Staff as great as the food, never felt pressured with time. Looking forward to another visit even though I live in London.
A. P.
The first time here was on the back of someone else cancelling a booking and we now go back with a reservation of our own. My favourite practice in this restaurant is that we have the table for the evening as opposed to a 2 hour slot. The food is simple yet good - the service is excellent. The music is spot on. I look forward to a chilled evening. Will post again after the meal.
Another wonderful meal.
M.
Incredibly friendly staff and the food was delicious, well worth the money. I've missed real poutine ever since coming to the UK and finally managed to find a place that used real cheese curds so this was a hidden gem. Will definitely come back again in the future!
J. M. C.
Absolutely loved this place. The front of house owner, what an a gem. Positive energy and beautiful personality. Chowder is wonderful. Beef dip is the best I've had. Thank you
D. H.
Easily top of the list in Charminster, which is no small achievement. The restaurant has a very welcoming and rustic feel. The service is friendly and lovingly provided. The food is fantastic. The menu is North American, but not just burgers. The Meat Loaf is awesome. I can't believe we waited so long to dine here. Probably because it's very popular. I definitely recommended reserving a table ahead.
C. C.
I cannot rate this place enough. The food was amazing. You could tell it was all fresh and homemade. Portions was big, you definitely leave full and in our case, with multiple doggy bags. Poutine was so good, we got another portion. The roast beef dip was so flavourful and so tender, the dripping were so good. The perogies were amazing and so filling, never eaten anythinglike that. The what the cluck was a monster, chicken was crispy and light, the mac cheese was lovely, the bacon was really good and the spicy sauce, just set everything alive. Value for money- 100%. The service was excellent, the server was so friendly. The place its self was wonderfully decorated with a really warm atmosphere. The moose head beer was so nice and went down really well. Would 100% go back, and can't wait. They mentioned that they are going to start doing a delivery, so if they deliver to our address, will definitely order. Highly recommended
C. B.
Amazing staff, really friendly and chatty. Food was really good, opted for Poutine and Sloppy seconds 🍔, which was a nice combo of meatloaf and Mac n Cheese. All washed down with a massive pitcher of Long Island ice tea 👌🏼
M. R.
Amazing food and super friendly people! They took pity upon my friend and I and fed us poutine even though they were super busy. We will definitely be back!
O.
fantastic little canadian resterant in the heart of Bournemouth. I visited here with a friend last night and had a fantastic experience. the waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing, ive never tired canadian food before but always wanted to. had the chicken wings and then what the cluck? wings were a perfect level spice im not a person who really likes heat but this was just about barerable. burger was delcious I upgraded to the poutine fires, lovley rich thick gravy and salty canadian cheese curds. only thing left was a bit of lettece and a half a tomato, I don't do rabbit food hehe. fantastic service and well priced full bill was around £70 for a bottle of wine two starters/mains with upgrades respectable. would 100 percent return.
l. o.
Lovely food- had the meatloaf which was yummy. Friendly service. Great music and fantastic cocktails.
R. R.
1st visit, booked a table based purely on an interesting menu, glad we did, they were fully booked (on a Tuesday night!), and thoroughly enjoyed the evening, awesome food, great environment, and happy, friendly staff (oh, and a great playlist). Even if you're only half-thinking of booking, do it!

I visited Moose Kitchen on Wednesday 4 March 2020 in the evening, a weekday during term time. I was with three other people. This was my first visit.
I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place. I parked in the street nearby the restaurant.
The restaurant comprises of one cosy dining area with about 10 tables with full table service. The restaurant is very welcoming, clean, tidy and nicely decorated.
The team were incredibly friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I enjoyed Macaroni Cheese Balls with Marinara Dip for my starter and the Whiskey River Burger for my main course. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was very good value for money, I paid around £20 for two courses and drinks which included a very tasty Pina Colada!
Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come and visit again.
J. P.
Fantastic food, friendly service, brilliant atmosphere, music choice was spot on!
The starters, mains, and dessert were all perfectly cooked, and couldnt be faulted. Kay was the perfect host. Will be back again for sure...the more the merrier! Could eat there over and over again! Will try the pancakes next time!
D. B.
Very cool restaurant located at the end of Charminster behind a bus stop, so very easy to miss but it is a hidden gem. We found it via trip advisor.
Waitress was very friendly and welcoming and at the time the ambiance was very quiet due to lack of people there (6.30), but I am sure at high tide it would be very lively.
We had starters and mains. Both courses were of a good size and quality. However, I would say and we all agreed that the portions were too big. I would personally have less on the plate. The pictures may not show the size, but in real life it was quite a lot of food which was stodge and destroyed our space for deserts.
Will revisit again soon though.

What an amazing hidden gem! Run by 2 INCREDIBLE women who make you feel like you've gone to your best friends house for dinner. The food is utterly spectacular and the cocktail menu is fantastic. Cannot wait to go back! If you love great atmosphere and fantastic home cooked food then this is the restaurant for you!
C. M.
Great food, nice atmosphere, lovely people. No coincidence that when booking somewhere for a break we've ended up near the Moose Kitchen, which we discovered last time we were down here 2 years ago. Glad to be back and to support a fantastic independent eatery.
A. H.
Visited the Moose Kitchen after seeing the glowing trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The food is amazing, with the meat supplied by our favourite local butchers. We ordered the Whiskey River Burger each and I can't say I've ever had a burger patty that tasted that good before. The sauce complimented the meat perfectly and the triple cooked chips made for a perfect side. Very friendly staff as well!
J. C.
I owe you £10 tip next time I come (boyfriend didn’t understand the card machine 🤣) absolutely brilliant service and lovely food, great atmosphere, will deffo be back 🥰
S. R.
Great food and a great restaurant. One night in Bournemouth and we decided to book a table a few days prior for Moose Kitchen. Kay was a perfect host and the food was definitely worth the visit. Not being local parking was a five minute walk away in a nearby residential road. Very happy to visit again when next in town. 👍👍👍
C. S.
The food was really good and I can happily say the service was excellent. Definitely go back again, oh and try the moose head lager is top notch.
L. B.
Amazing little restaurant owner run (owners are great lovely people with a warm welcome and good advice) if your looking to eat here make sure you don’t eat all day lol good food choice from breakfast to dinner and some great cocktails, thank you to everyone at the Moose Kitchen 👍
L. W.
Superb! Great food and friendly service. The meatloaf was to die for and the poutine was AMAZING. Thank you Moose Kitchen for a lovely, friendly meal
M. P.
Just fantastic food, very hot when it arrives which you rarely get and as tasty as, chowder soup my partner thought was the best he’d ever tasted, wine lovely, priced well, good choice, good food, not rushed and where will you ever find somewhere that’s truly about the food
N. G.
Wow! Lovely food! Lovely staff. No surprise they are #1
M. L.
Moose Kitchen............ Amazing. Food is on another level, hosts are brilliant and its a laid back atmosphere. Good value for money and quality of ingredients reflects this. This could become a weekly visit... 😁 👍
e. b.
Super friendly and welcoming staff, great cocktails, delicious burgers and fries, good vibes, what’s not to love
T. T.
The most kitchen is just a perfect experience my girlfriend and I went yeah the branch after meeting friends of walk their dog and it's very rare that my little lady ever turns around and says that she is full but it's a testament to the delicious Canuck food and flavours on offer that it didn't stop her eating 10 out of 10 fully recommended the most kitchen deserves all the success that it's having because they're very good at what they do long live the Moose kitchen so it might be advisable to book while you still can
R.
Was super excited to finally get a table on a kid free night. We had to book weeks in advance. Food was nice, the team were amazing, fantastic service, we had a lovely evening, great atmosphere. It was in early September but the weather was warm enough we could sit outside, we probably sat at our table for way to long but weren't made to feel like we had to leave 💕
A. K.
There is not enough stars to give to this restaurant and the owners. Pre planned our visit for Gluten intolerance and was provided with the most beautiful meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The atmosphere was great with the most attentive and friendly owners who make you feel most welcome. I could not recommend this place enough!! Next time I am in Bournemouth I will be rushing back.
C. D.
Came here for my mum's birthday meal, and was not disappointed at all, the place has a nice atmosphere, the food was incredible and we'll priced too, and the two waitresses we had serving us were absolutely lovely and full of good banter too, definitely gonna come back again soon, and highly, highly recommend this place. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.
G. H.
Fantastic hosts / staff , friendly and welcoming - food was perfectly cooked and fully of flavour (I was put into a food coma) , good choice of bottled beers
M. P.
If dining was all about food then Moose Kitchen would earn five stars hands down. But, we know dining is about much more than just what we eat, it's about service, atmosphere, presentation... and this restaurant nails every aspect!
The place has a nice Canadian lodge/diner decor going on which combines with a playlist of Americana anthems to give a great and appropriate vibe (honestly every song played was such a banger it was a struggle not to drum along or air guitar!).
As soon as I started seeing food delivered to other tables my hunger ramped up because it all looked so good. This is not a place to go if you want food presented in a way it could go on show in the Tate Modern. This is where to go when you want to look at food that makes your stomach grumble and mouth salivate.
When it came to food, I ordered a 'dirty Philly cheese steak' (Philly cheese steak with blue cheese) and a side of halloumi fries. The steak was tender, the blue cheese, onion and mushroom top was divine. The triple cooked chips weren't so much a side as a main component of the meal they tasted so good! For desert I ordered a key lime pie (my all time favourite desert) and it did NOT disappoint; creamy with a firm but not over powering base and the perfect tart hit of lime that delivered with every bite. Also, portion sizes will not leave you hungry!
What Moose Kitchen truly has over every other restaurant I've visited though, was their customer service. That isn't to say other restaurants are bad, but the staff at Moose Kitchen blew the competition out the water. Never have I been made to feel so welcome to go somewhere. Everyone I interacted with gave such sincere, friendly service. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us having a good experience and it is so clear that they take great pride in the product they offer!
This is a place I will go back to again and again. I genuinely look forward to returning to see the staff and owners again, and trying everything their menu has to offer.
A. O.
Great food and absolutely lovely staff. They even rushed the dessert and helped us on our way when girlfriend started feeling faint and had to go home quickly, they were very nice, caring and understanding about it. Will definitely come again 💜
S. T.
Great Canadian twist in South of England. authentic food , great People and loads of maple syrup. I'll be back definitely!
M. W.
We were so looking forward to poutine and it didn't disappoint!! Fab atmosphere, excellent service and food was amazing. Will definitely be going again!
Only thing that would have made it better would have been rootbeer on the menu 😋
C. W.
Insanely good food, brilliant value for money, really decent portion sizes. Relaxed environment, nothing intimidating, not pushing for you to order more. Lovely experience. So nice to have something different in Bournemouth, we'll be back for sure.
H. W.
I was overwhelmed with the welcome for us on my husband's 65th birthday.
Kay was so genuine and attentive, as were the other staff.
The food was divine, faultless.
Thank you so much for making our special day exceptionable.
R. H.
Extremely friendly staff who care about their customers. Felt slightly over priced but better with blue light discount.
A. K.
Wow, wow, wow 👏 Been waiting for over a year to eat here and wasn't disappointed. The place, atmosphere, staff, owners and food were wonderful. Not for the faint hearted because the portions are so generous but made perfectly 👌. Will not wait another 12 months to eat there again 👍
W. R.
Came with a few friends this evening, food was okay but fairly overpriced in comparison to other very similar restaurants in Bournemouth town center. Atmosphere was non existent with quite a few empty tables, even though there's a sign outside the restaurant stating they're fully booked and not taking walk ins? Only 2 choices of beer and the bottle of wine we ordered came with a £10 mark up from Tesco's a couple of doors down. Decor felt like I was in Frankie and Bennies, certainly not Canada.
H. E.
Friendly staff and a warm and cozy restaurant. Food really tasty and homemade, would definitely recommend.
C.
Amazing food and lovely owners. Went there twice on our 4 days in Bournemouth. Only disappointment is we couldn't try more of the menu!!
E. B.
Another fantastic visit to Moose Kitchen. Food and atmosphere wonderful - looking forward to the next time already.
T. T.
Only popped in for a quick drink but loved the ladies behind the bar. Friendly, funny and charming. I'll be back soon for food!
E. C.
The most wonderful food and dining experience in Bournemouth. Kay and Sara have worked with such passion, dedication and commitment to make this restaurant the success that it is.
Fantastic food, well priced and the service that cannot be beaten.
If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out.
J. J.
Superb Burgers with my wife and daughter. 10/10. Flavour prep absolutely brilliant. Kay serving was a delight so kind and enthusiastic. Music was great. Love this place.

Visited at the end of September during a short few days visit to Bournemouth. We received a great welcome received by the Owner when we arrived and was made to feel like we was at home. The decor inside was really nice and well thought out. Wanted to try everything on the menu! The mac balls are a must! Can't wait to come back next time we are in Bournemouth, its a 5/5 for me!
K. A.
First visit yesterday. We loved the warm welcome and the excellent (and funny) service. No pressure to rush. It was quite an achievement to create such a good atmosphere in a quiet restaurant (we booked early and midweek). The food was excellent. My daughter thought the steak sandwich and the chocolate brownie were the best she'd ever eaten - and she's eaten a lot of brownie! Highly recommended. We will be back 😃👍🤗
J. H.
Cannot recommend highly enough! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so friendly and attentive! Excellent value. We left with full bellies and happy faces!
s. t.
Amazing! Just amazing! The food is spectacular! It's like walking into a better home than yours. Definitely worth 6 stars
J. S.
Really enjoyed dinner here. Had the bacon and cheese burger upgraded with a side of Poutine. Rich gravy over cheese curds. My son was with me and is begging me to return. I wish there was parking, the front is obscured by the bus shelter so difficult to see. Welcome by the owner was magnificent, friendly and place comfortable and relaxing. All good. Food felt homemade, rather than mass produced. We're going back! :-)
N.
Amazing food every time and the friendliest staff! Plus always a good playlist on. Can't wait to come back 😋
A. N.
Went here last night for my birthday. It was amazing food! So fresh and can't wait to visit again! The poutine was exceptionally good as was the Pierogi! Our waitress (one of the owners) was friendly and helpful and makes a very good cocktail!
A. H.
Amazing! Food was so so good and really good value for money I though especially with the Veggie mini moose! The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted as close to those I had in America as I can remember! Woman who served us was really friendly and it felt like a really independent place. I will be going back!
J. C.
Amazing restaurant food and staff out of this world. Can not wait to visit Bournemouth again so I can eat there again. Best choice for my partner’s birthday and made special by all the staff
H. C.
Just been here for brunch.....am now in the most wonderful pancake coma!!!!
I've found my favourite place to eat EVER.
Amazing food, service, atmosphere and music.
I ordered the "large Canadian " breakfast and HOLY MOLY...It's big, but fantastic. Hands down the best meal out I've ever had!!.
Thanks Moose Kitchen, that's my diet out the window. Xx
A. W.
Great, funny and friendly service at front of house and equally as great food coming from the kitchen.
We'll definitely be going back again when we are in need of some naughty food 😈.
If you're reading this and not sure whether to try it out, then stop reading and book a table. These ladies are awesome!
P.S We didn't get around to trying out your Cinnamon buns 😉, but we'll defo be popping in soon!
E. O.
Great food and excellent staff!
Three of us went in on a Sunday and got a nice friendly welcome, we got to sit anywhere and had a nice chat and banter with the staff.
The service was quick and the food was excellent
I had the large breakfast (I forget what it's called) and loved every bite, you can't beat pancakes and meat for breakfast :D
Well recommended and I need to go back soon
I. K.
Amazing food, amazing service and leathal cocktails! We felt so welcome at the Moose Kitchen we said it was like being round someones house for dinner. We tried the mac balls, Halloumi fries, Stilton burger and roast beef baguette and everything was lovely. Food is homemade and produce sourced locally, and service is friendly and fun. Looking forward to going back for breakfast!
G. H.
Had the Canadian Breakfast which consisted of bacon rashers, sausage patty, fried potatoes, toast and fried egg, which I had with a pot of tea. All very nice, quick service and friendly owner and chef. My only minor quibble is that is was all a bit dry. I'd like to see a range of sauces on offer or something to help with the potatoes. Will go back for sure, to try the evening meal (make sure you book!)
D. S.
Good food and large portions so you may not need a starter. The people are very friendly and I was able to get a table easily but this may not be the case all the time as it's getting quite popular. Fair price for the food and it's all locally produced ingredients where possible and free range meats. Enjoyed my evening there.
A. F.
I was so looking forward to trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious but the meatloaf was to die for!! I will be back for sure!
D. W.
3 stars is a realistic rating, the service was great, but understaffed at times, a weak selection of drinks, the hot chocolate fudge sundae wasn't hot or very fudge like. The portion sizes are big but the philli cheese steak was something from a burger van. The chips and gravy were great but I didn't taste the wine in the gravy, it was very standard. The meatloaf was very sweet, too much BBQ sauce. The chilli dog was stuck to the plate with cheese so don't expect to eat it with your hands. A very average place with a good idea. Also it's very expensive for what it is.
C. T.
Fab place for food and drink with a brilliant host to look after your needs
P. W.
Superb place, wish I had found it before, amazing grub and the best Poutine this side of the Atlantic. Music and chat is excellent.
D. H.
I absolutely love the moose kitchen.
The owners are lovely and so friendly.
The food is to DIE for. Highly recommended the roast beef drip.
Went this morning to try the Canadian Breakfast menu and was not disappointed!
Strongly recommended you try this place.
T. Y.
While visiting Bournemouth we checked TripAdvisor and noticed Moose Kitchen at #1. Due to our North American connections, we were delighted to see that this was a Canadian restaurant with authentic home cooked Canadian food.
We pre-booked, which is a must as it is very popular, and had a lovely meal. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend the poutine (as it is made with real cheese curds) and the meatloaf, which were both superb.
The food is very filling, tasty, and to top it off excellent value too.
Apologies if I get this wrong but I think there is one hardworking chef, who cooks all the meals herself, and the front house owner who is very welcoming and accommodating. Great credit goes to both of the owners who have made a real gem of a restaurant that we will continue to go back to and recommend to others, in particular ex-pats from North America, who want to have an evening where they feel at home away from home.
Thanks for the wonderful meal. We will be back!
M. R.
Unassuming from the outside, but well worth a visit. Canadian restaurant, food is all home made and the potions are big. Couldn't fault anything about the evening. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. Service was quick even though it was full. I'd recommend booking.
E. “. T.
Found this little gem on TripAdvisor on a recent visit to Poole. The reviews were really positive so we thought we'd check it out and we were so glad we did. We were greeted by one of the owners who was very friendly and welcoming. She helped us with our menu choices and cocktail selections. The food was amazing and very filling. I highly recommend the poutine, I want to have a go at it myself lol but know it won't be anywhere near as good. If you're looking for something a bit different, relaxed, friendly and great food give this place a try.
D. W.
Excellent experience. Didn't know what to expect but we were all delighted with our meals.
Very large portions and very tasty indeed. Brilliant service from our delightful host Kay.
Will come again.

Wow! What can i say? They had me at 'poutine'. Since visiting Canada 3 years ago, I have been on the hunt for a proper poutine with proper cheese curds and now I've found one. It was amazing. As was the rest of our food. There were so many tempting items on the menu that we are already planning when to go back (also really want to try out the breakfast menu so actually planning two visits!). The staff were super friendly too and explained how everything is made from scratch and locally sourced where possible. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. I heartily recommend this place.

They will always do anything to cater for us and are brilliant with the young children in the party... Most important thing is, the food is incredible! Massive portions and so tasty. If you haven't visited yet, put it on your to do list!

Been meaning to try this place for a while, today I finally got round to popping in and it did not disappoint !! The food was amazing and you could tell it was cooked with love. The owners could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I shall definitely be returning to try the rest of the fabulous looking menu. :)

Great food, friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
The prices look a little steep, but you're getting quality food and very generous portions that justifies the price. If you have special dietary needs talk to the staff and they are more than happy to help.
Definitely going back to try more!

This is a great little place with beautiful, made-from-scratch, free-range meals and excellent service. Since all the meals are made from scratch, if you give them enough notice they can make gluten free options. We will definitely be going back. Booking is advised.

I was in Bournemouth and was told to try this Restaurant out, so I did, and really had the best Burger I have ever had it was freshly made by the owner, I had not tried Poutine before and was very pleased, it is a home made triple cooked chips with lashings of home made gravy ands the most delightful cheeses curd to top it of. I also had Perogi which is like a dumpling just delightful, in fact every mouth full I was starting to sound like the moans from a particular film, The whole meal was so tasty I kept on say em em , so much so that the people on the next table said they wanted whatever it was I was having lol . I can truly say that the meal was made with love and it was very obvious that the owners are very passionate about the food that they produce. The service is more like a family, and everyone is made to feel at home. Well done Moose Kitchen. I can fully recommend you book early for this hidden Gem. PS I don't usually put my name out like this but am pleased to do so. Best wishes Rustie Lee xx

We came here to celebrate our anniversary after seeing so many positive reviews. Our expectations were high and our experience exceeded those expectations. The food was delicious, best buffalo hot wings sauce I've tasted, not surprisingly it's a well kept secret. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. We will most certainly be back. Thank you Moose Kitchen for a wonderful evening.

We went to Moose Kitchen for a anniversary after seeing the great reviews, and they didn't disappoint. Staff are fun and friendly, food was delicious. Oh and the soundtrack was off the charts Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones and Kasabian . Wow!! . We have already booked our next visit and really looking forward to it.

The Good the Bad and the Salty.
Friendly welcoming staff helped and are very kind. The food was nice but on the salty side and I feel was over priced. The Décor was average clean environment. The sign outside saying fully booked no walk ins but half empty restaurant everyday makes me feel they use that to entice customers thinking it’s super busy and a hot spot when in actual fact it’s half empty every night. If the price wasn’t so high and the food was less salty I’d definitely go again and it would be 5 stars.
