K. B.Always said this place looked nice every time we drove past on the way to the beach! It did not disappoint! We were a large group of 9 and I managed to book it on the day via the website. Chose to eat in the conservatory and it was very pleasant. Windows all opened up so it wasn't stuffy. Menu choice was great for both adults and kids and not too overpriced. Cocktails were 2 for £12 which was a bonus! Husband and I shared the Chateaubriand (a special that day) and it was amazing.
We had a small issue with one of our meals but it was rectified quickly. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Highly recommend this place and will certainly return again next time we are down that way.
M. L.Beautifully decorated, gorgeous location and well planted tidy grounds. Some people have commented on the price in the past but it seems fair for the quality of the food. A marked improvement from what used to be at this location. Served by "Yorkshire Josh" who was polite, attentive and welcoming. He also had an eye for detail in tidying after customers who thought leaving an ashtray in the grounds where it could enhance the sun's rays and pose a fire risk. Refreshing to see in someone of his age group!

p. n.I had Brie in panko breadcrumbs to start , then a really tasty and juicy burger with a beef dripping sauce and fries as main . For dessert I had trio of white chocolate cheesecake . The meal was delicious I could not fault anything. Our server was warm , friendly and very helpful her name was Elouise . Great value for money and will definitely go back soon .

N. C.AMAZING!!!!! my boyfriend and I came here for Sunday lunch, we had tomato and balsamic soup to start, and then the chicken and the beef roasts (with extra sides). When I say it’s the best roast I have ever had; I mean it! 😊 Also, the scenery is beautiful, we were very lucky to sit in the conservatory on a beautiful sunny day and the views of the river were gorgeous! Also, I want to say a huge thank you to our fabulous waitress, Debbie, she was extremely lovely, very charming and added a touch of humour! We also want to thank her for her recommendation to visit Burley while we were visiting the area, so all in all she made 2 of our days really fantastic! To all the managers there your chefs and Debbie are an asset to your wonderful team ☺️
D.A beautiful day, and what better place to enjoy it at The Riverside. Our first time visiting and the staff, decor and table placements is really nice.
Me and my wife both had the freshly battered cod n' chips, and it's by far the best fish and chips meal ever. Im so used to sainsbury's one but this takes the cake. The size of the cod is big and the taste is amazing. Very impressed with value of what you're getting.
To finish off the moment we ordered the White Chocolate Cheesecake Trio which was professionally prepared by none other than Connor. Not only did it looked amazing with all its colours but it was delicious. Sugary in some parts for my liking but still very tasty.
Defo worth going!
