The staff were wonderful. My partner ordered the beef cheeks which were perfect and the desert of chocolate cheese cake was delicious. I ordered the Mac n Cheese as rich meats aren’t doing it for me at the moment. It wasn’t very good, tasted of wotzits (confirmed by my partner). Table next to us had fresh cod which looked amazing too. Just don’t go there and eat pasta. It’s more of a meaty place.

The Schpoons & Forx restaurant is located inside the Hilton Hotel Bournemouth and is worth a visit. The food is great and well presented. On our first visit in July 2021 I ordered a sourdough pepperoni pizza and it was very good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. Our 2nd visit to Schpoons & Forx in June 2022 was also very good. The pint of cold Peroni went down a treat. Our party had tandoori prawns for starters. Then for mains we had a mix of ribeye steak, hake and grilled chicken. Finally for dessert we had creme brulee, strawberry meringue and afogato. Our 3rd visit also in June 2022 was once again very good. Our party had tandoori prawns for starters. Then for mains we had a mix of ribeye steak with chips and fillet steak chips.

For Bournemouth centre it's one of the few nice places to go to. There are not many decent restaurants in the town. Nicely layout tables, but dimming the lights would benefit the place more. Quiet, and decent food, very good steak. Service - waiters need guidance and to learn from management? service eticket, the basic restaurant rules, or simply educate themselves. it's a nice team of FOH, but they totally have no idea how to serve.

First my complaint... parked at The Hilton. For 2 hours from 1930 to 2115hrs. £13.50. How can you justify that which equates to almost a quarter of my food bill. So won't be returning. Food and service were okay.

Visited this lovely restaurant last night the locals call it “a posh night out” the start of our visit wasn’t great, my youngest is gluten and dairy intolerant, we had informed them before arrival, our main waitress didn’t have a clue and my wife ended up going to speak to the chefs who were so lovely and helpful they made a lovely dish for my youngest. I think as a typical hotel restaurant only having 2 wait staff and a manager might be the case. On to the food, we had the beef arancini, buttermilk friend chicken and squid for sharing pate which were lovely, the Roti fired steak was also superb, we were addicted to the “crisp potato scraps” so yummy. The dessert we chose was the sweet shpoons which was also superb. Overall a bad start but a good ending. They just need some work on the staff training.

Great food and service. only thing I would suggest is to move some of the tables as if you are tall like me, 6ft1, you will be forever banging your head on the light fixtures above the tables. Hit my head twice on the light and from the looks I got from Staff I'd suggest it wasn't the first time someone had done it. The overall experience was a great one though, attentive and welcoming staff and the Bill wasn't too bad either.

A couple of us visited on Saturday. Asked for a G & T which was served in a lager glass as there weren't any clean gin glasses (at 6.30pm). Food was lovely, and you can see it being prepared in the open kitchen. The service was slow and disorganised. Staff were friendly enough, the restaurant wasn't full but the service was really lacking.

Lovely place, with a bit of a '90s hotel feeling, but it is still worth a visit. The staff (with one exception) were kind and professional, the service was quick (perhaps too quick - we were still enjoying the appetisers when the first course arrived, almost as if they wanted us gone), the cutlery and glasses were "dishwasher clean" = their were absolutely clean but with stains... perhaps some attention to these little details would improve everybody's experience. The appetisers were simple but good, we got exactly what we were expecting. Both first courses were truly delicious: arancini and gnocchi. I lived in Italy for 20 years and these dishes did not disappoint. They were really good - well seasoned, well prepared, nicely presented. The second courses were again very nice - perhaps they were a bit OTT: too much and too many type of sauces one my plate. A small disappointment: I renounced to the lamb dish because of the curried yoghurt it came with (I just do not like curry) and ordered some fish just to find the curried yoghurt on my plate... I simply left it there but it would have been nice to know beforehand. Also, do we really want to overwhelm the delicate taste of fish with curried and other strong-flavoured sauces?? Puddings were spot on. I think the place is reasonable priced especially for what you get. Often we paid the same amount for chain-pub food. One negative thing: we had booked a table for 7.30pm - the confirmation email said we had a booking valid for 2.5 hours. We arrived late (traffic, road closures), around 8.15pm. The staff at the entrance of the restaurant was clearly annoyed by us being late and he did not even try to hide it. On the contrary. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was half empty... and so it stayed for the rest of the evening. I would have understood his annoyance if we had caused a problem with other bookings, or if we had arrived outside of the time slot they gave us - though, even in that case, I would have expected some manners. Good food, good prices - room for improvement when it comes to service, small details, the manners of some of the staff.

The food was amazing, and the service was excellent all around! The sommelier, Laura, was highly impressive. Our table of 4 ordered the beef cheek, lamb shank, pork belly and the roast chicken for mains. Every single dish was just perfect! The starters were equally amazing and my favourite was the king prawn gnocchi!

Talk about a beautiful bit of pork belly and beef cheek !!!! The service was super quick, a little rushed as they had many booking that evening but we didn't mind. The staff where lovely and the chefs also very friendly, being sat so close to them they thanked us for our custom. All in, a lovely set of people, food was marverlous, and the setting was nice and relaxed - EOTHO also helped with the cost!

My wife and I went Saturday evening for dinner and it was fantastic. The staff welcomed you with a smile which goes a long way in my book and they couldn't do enough to help. The manager and the young lady that served us (i should have got their names) were very professional and attentive. This is an authentic Thai restaurant, located close to the cathedrals in Norwich centre. The food and service are exceptional, as is the decor. We dined without reservation early on Friday evening but booking is almost essential later on weekend evenings. The atmosphere was lively but not too noisy. My Wife and I were greatly impressed by this restaurant.

Staff where really nice and friendly, menu had a good selection. I had the special mackrel on toast which was delicious. I had the lamb shank for main was cooked really well but if I'm honest was not that tasty. We had a big dish booking for 25% off, it was definitely worth what we paid but not sure I would have been happy to pay full price.

The Decor in this place is great, unfortunately the service is not. Very slow and lots of waiting in between courses and then for the bill to arrive. The food was nice but nothing special. I would return for drinks but not to have another meal unfortunately.

Lovely location and we were sat right by the windows although a shame you couldn't see the beach. A good choice of food but not too many options to make the choice hard. Open kitchen so that food could he seen being cooked and a lovely atmosphere. We opted for the fillet steak which was cooked very well, would go back again.

My friend booked a bottleless brunch for a large group. About 9 of us. We found everything to be really nice. Prosecco was devine ;) and lots of it provided! Meals were beautifully presented. Vegan options were lovely too. Portions a little small perhaps. We were the only group in there at the time though so the obviously the atmosphere (except for us) was a little flat. It's a shame it is often a little empty in there because I think It's a lovely place.

Just had dinner at Schpoons &Forx and must say it was absolutely fantastic, The manager greeted us very warmly, the servers were absolutely fantastic and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, the food was faultless, I had The Lamb Kofta to start and could have eaten that again and again was so delicious, the wife had chicken satay and said the sauce was so flavoursome, we then had the Rump steak medium rare which was perfection, and the strawberry cheesecake to finish just complemented the whole evening, will definitely be back soon, thankyou for a great meal
