Would absolutely give this place a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The staff was amazing, warm and welcoming! Moreover the chicken wings was a blast! Not kidding anyone here! Their wings are juicy and flavourful! Even the the chicken strips! You have the options to get a flavoured one or plain, WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR FLAVOURS! Ambience and cleanliness 5/5! Please start a branch in Reading!!!

Slims is always brilliant. Delicious food as always and another great set of dips to try. A little bit more expensive than kfc but it’s is the five guys alternative for chicken. No wait at all and friendly staff. Good view of the gardens from the restaurant.

Okay so this is my first time visiting a place called Slim Chickens, I ordered what semi resembled a boneless banquet from kfc there and was so amazed by the taste that kfc lacks lustre to me now. The chicken was juicy and cooked well, the coating wasn't to thick so you definitely had lots of chicken. And the additions were definitely welcome.

I love slim chickens. I have also ate quite regularly at a different branch of theirs further north, so was very excited to see them opening one here. I ate in a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. Food was super quick, and it was tasty. However the delivery needs some serious work. As I was so impressed with my last visit me and my partner ordered a delivery. On her meal, the sauce was not added, which I found very surprising as the sauce is arguably one of the most important bits of the meal as that is what you dip your chicken in. Then my order came, and it looked as if it had been squished. It was poorly presented, all the wings and tenders and fries were all mixed up in 1 section of the box, resulting in the fries being squished together. Honestly, I get the box is a nice idea but I would much prefer all my bits or at least the fries being put in a separate bag and then a different box/bag for the chicken, as having it all together for me resulted in an absolute bombshell and really off putting presentation. Furthermore it was not very warm. All in all I will certainly be back in store, but for now I have been put off ordering it for delivery and would probably order from elsewhere If I am after a takeaway. If basing off in store experience alone I would happily rate them 5* but my first delivery off them has really impacted the score.

Was eager to try Slim Chickens as an alternative to Five Guys, 7 bone etc. Spicy BBQ Double Chicken burger was a good size and you could tell the chicken was fresh, but unfortunately was layered in very rich not-so spicy BBQ sauce which overpowered everything. Mac & Cheese was solid.

What a great place loved them tender finger licking chicken tenders left me full at the stomach and on eye mouth watering. Had a lovely chocolate milk of the shake too the wet the whistle. Slightly on the pricier side for fried chicken but this is reflected in the quality and taste, so much better and less greasy than the likes of KFC. The refillable drinks are those syrup machines for soft drinks they didnt taste that great hence the lost star - its possible the syrups needed replacing. Shake was really nice.

Right guys. I’ve heard people talk about this place saying it’s a gooden and now i’ve had the chance to check it out. Had to wet the whistle with a salted caramel shake- they don’t do these in Barnsley. Stuck me receipt in sky rocket. The smell coming out of that box- wow. Had to put knacker cracker away when I sat doon. Tenders were juicy. The gravy Mayooo- what a taste sensation. Even cameraman got some. Rate my takeaway, and i’ll rate yours.

Fast, friendly service with good sized portions. I come from Canada and we love our chicken wings! I ordered the Buffalo wings. The wings were dry and you could barely discern the Buffalo sauce. The wings should be glistening (not drowning) with sauce. Like Canada/USA, it'd be nice to have some carrot/celery sticks on the side with blue cheese dressing. They go well with the hot wings. I will visit again.

Visited this restraint twice this week and enjoyed the experience. Best way to describe it is an up scale KFC / Nandos which focuses a on Chicken and vegan options. Slim Chickens leans into its American heritage and feels a cross between a sports bar and a upmarket fast food restaurant the TVs primarily show baseball. The food quality was very good even if the first chicken burger was a little dry. The second visit the restraint was busy so the food order took a little while but the food was great and well worth the wait. I would definitely recommend giving it a go and hopefully they may open one near me.

It was good but its no KFC! Chips nicely seasoned but not hot. Sauces are very manufactured. Chicken was tasty and particularly enjoyed the wrap but the chicken skin just lacked that Finger Licking quality (if you know what I mean!)

I went there with my sister and nephew, we got a Cayenne Ranch sandwich and 8 buffalo wings and Oreo milksake, the sandwich was quite big, the wings were very spicy! The Oreo milkshake took a bit, but was refreshing. Very worth for money.

Ordered their large fry up deal. Find this place like a better kfc. Chips are the same as kfc's but actually crispy and slightly salted. Decent portion too. Chicken strips aren't dry nor oversalted unlike kfcs's. Chicken wings werent hot but tasted good, were a large array of types, I stuck with korean bbq. Garlic bread didnt taste like much, but personally I just love overwhelming pungent flavours of garlic. It was warm but not crispy however. Dips were pretty nice too. You spend a bit more than kfc but in some cases as stated above it is much better than dry, oversalted chicken, soggy chips and a lack of variety other than a limited array chicken burgers and chicken.

Think we were there on opening day. Only half the menu was available and drinks dispenser was all over the place. However, food could not be faulted. Went back two days later. All the issues resolved, it was packed and food just as good. Along the lines of Popeye's / Chick Filet but better. Will be a big success in Bournemouth.
