We were a little late but they got us in. Oh boy were we happy! Service was fab, staff very attentive. Food came out in good time despite how busy it was (rammed!). Nice ambiance amd buzz in the restaurant. Starters 5/5 Starters came out on a tray rack. All very delicious and well presented. Pitta, hummus, tzatziki, olives and spicey feta (our fave). Food 4/5 Salt cod was amazing, lamb very good, chicken dish had the skin on which was a little slimey for our liking however it was still tasty. Service 5/5 Very happy with the staff. Highly recommended and we would return to try more of the menu!

Food was good, small quantity, nice taste, not very expensive. Restaurant location is great near everything. However, the service was extremely bad, so food was late, orange juice was dropped on the table and I asked for some one to clean it, the waitress gave me tissue to clean it by my self, there was no salt or pepper or olive oil on my table, and at the end they take 12.5% as service. I really don’t understand where is this service

To start with the cons, the portions were quite small and it was more pricey than expected. But the pros outweigh the cons by far - the food was delicious and the display was cute. The staff were friendly and we luckily had the weather to sit outside. I would recommend the halloumi wrap

It's crowded for a reason. Great Greek food. Try the halloumi + honey starter, it beats anything I've ever had in terms of halloumi! Great service, great food, good location with views of Bournemouth park. It tends to be quite popular over the weekend, so you'd be better if booking a table in advance.

Been here several times and always good. Service today was a bit slow to begin with but it got better. Three old pals had a long and rather boozy lunch. Lovely atmosphere and views across the gardens . We had a selection of dishes to share and particularly loved the lentil, beet and feta salad. Great variety and choice for vegetarians and carnivores. Reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere and we spent an unhurried afternoon catching up on our gossip. Lovely.

Such a wonderful place to meet friends for lunch, pet friendly. The terrace is a comfortable area when the an is shining. Comfortable seating area with heaters if there is a chill. The food is just so delicious, great choice to choose from. Presented for a small party of 8 humous so smooth. Chicken wings and barbeque pork belly soft and tasty. Wines are from Greece which just adds that little bit more excitement to compliment the dishes. Not only can you keep addingore dishes if you are hungry, the desserts are to die for. Caramel and pecan Cheesecake oh my just could not get enough of it decadent When you are look for a place near the beach visit Bournemouth and eat at The real Greek. Thank you guys is was a super experience .

Lovely spot for an enjoyable evening meal. We sat in the gazebo section which was lit and heated by some very impressive outdoor heaters. The service was quick, friendly and very efficient. The meals were very tasty, we had range of mezze dishes and all were well spice and tasty. Only downside was the drinks offer, which was pricey and a little poor in choice.

We love it here! The food is so good. There is plenty of vegan options well labelled although you'll have to look up the drinks as those aren't labelled on the menu. The staff are often not friendly at all but I dont let that bother me. They aren't rude, just make zero effort. There is nice views upstairs of Bournemouth Gardens. Its kid friendly they do have a kids menu. Highly recommend the vegan meatball wrap as well as the aubergine in rich tomato sauce 👌

I took my dad here for a belated Father’s Day and we had a great time. From the moment we arrived the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome (special shout out to Nico!). Food is beautiful. Ok it's not the most scenic of places but it is very convenient for the cinema. Value for Money is ok, it's not brilliant but it's not unreasonable either. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Two drawbacks, one of which isn't really, is the choice. The menu is awesome and it is a real challenge to select three dishes from it, because everything sounds (and is) delicious. The other downside is , it isn't very spacious and they cram the tables in, which can make it cramped and noisy. If you are offered the terrace take it in summer, it's more spacious, quieter, and more airy. Have been several times and will continue to do so.

Got there at 5pm. Food was good when it eventually arrived, but maybe chef doesn't get there until 5 for evening shift. I visited The Real Greek at BH2 in Bournemouth on Monday 28 September 2020 at lunchtime, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person. This was my first visit. The restaurant comprises of one fairly large sized main dining area with plenty of tables with full table service. The team were very friendly, informative and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed the chicken Souvlaki wrap with rice for my main course and a Greek Filo Custard Pie for dessert. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was good value for money, I paid around £14 for the two courses and two drinks. Overall I enjoyed my visit and would come and visit again.

Expensive and meh. My girlfriend asked me "do i have covid or does this taste like cardboard for you too" Yet another franchise that is everywhere, like franco manca, or browns or... you name it. You travel 200 miles and its the same thing as you have at home, wonders of globalization. The menu is designed to be put together by cooks on minimum wage. Whatever did not require cooking was ok, fried stuff was ok... seared stuff was a bit burnt (as in one of the sides of the pork was proper charcoal burnt) Why did i go you ask? Because everywhere else was full and the wetherspoons boss is a brexit-monger. I guess its ok, but expensive for what it is. Why did i not complain? Because it was ok-ish. Service was good, and the poor souls had a very busy night.

I originally ordered through Uber eats and for some reason Uber eats cancelled the order 2 hours after the order was placed. When I rang the restaurant a lovely guy called Dwaine (I think) went out of his way to get me my order and ended up putting it in a taxi! He through in a cake and drink too for having to wait. What a guy! The food was delicious and the service fantastic! Highly recommend this place! 5 stars for the legend that sorted me out when I couldn't get out to get any food because my back was out. Good food, went during pandemic times. Late evening meal. Immediately ushered in after checking the reservations chart. We didn't have reservations but for 4 people we were squeezed in between the reservations: that's a👍. Explained the menu when asked. We weren't that hungry but still preferred to have a sensation of Greek cuisine. Order was taken in time. Drinks followed soon. By the time we were discussing about the quantity of food ordered, the food suddenly appeared. We were a bit surprised and even more surprised with the with quality of food. I've never been here before but will definitely be my 'go to' greek restaurant. We ordered from the Filoxenia dinner menu. I had: 1.Greek Flatbread - soft and squidgy 2.Spicy Feta Dip (Htipiti) - absolutely amazing. There's not much spice but who wants an empowering spice with cheese. I would definitely order this evey single time. Couldn't get enough of it 😋 3.Loukaniko Beef & Pork Sausage Skewer - this came with cabbage and veg on skewers. It was perfectly cooked and flavoursome. 4.Saffron Rice. - never had it before but it was delicious I had some of my friend choices which was Pourgouri – Bulgur Wheat. This had a tomato sauce with it and other content. I would choose this over saffron rice. The food was very aesthetically pleasing and ambience was divine. Friendly staff and hospitality.

Enjoyed lunch menu. Ample sitting space. Toilet facilities could have improved in cleaniness. 12.5% discretionary service charge is added to the bill. Wish it was left to the customers to decide how much tips they would like to add to the bill. They delivered incorrect drinks and forgot to deliver our order until we reminded after waiting looong. Jackfruit/mushroom/onion mix wasn't great dish as it has full of tangy sause and no real taste. AC wasn't cooling during hot day.

The Real Deal. We ordered via Uber and the food was great. Well packed Souvlaki's, warm and everything tasted fresh, much better than TRG at Westfields (West London). Also some great veg options which we didn't know were available before. It's a shame this TRG is not closer to home, as it would be so easy to having a weekly or twice weekly, food worth climbing Mount Olympus for!

I came few times with my family and I decided to write a comment because I always had a good moment. The atmosphere is really appreciable and great team which answered to all of our questions. Last month I came on a Saturday night (busy ; next time I’ll reserved) we were outside next to the heating with some blankets and obviously the view on the garden. All of the dishes are quiet small so we shared and try a lots of different things. I had some lamb skewer nice cooked (I asked for pink like french way😉) also an AMAZING betroot salad. I recommend this place which is by the garden and 3min from de beach. I would love to have The Real Greek in Lyon. Merci beaucoup la team et à très bientôt.

Amazing food. Excellent service. 100% would go back there. Me and my partner had one of the best experiences lately in a restaurant. Haloumi popcorn is such a simple but so delicious starter- absolutely amazed. Souvlaki with pork skewer was a meal very similar to what I've in Greece so taste is authentic and very fresh. Left a generous tip to the waiter who was taking care of us. Spot on! Love at first sight.

She arrived with our starters then sauntered around in a daze for 45 minutes, not checking in on us once. I called another waiter at the first opportunity and our mains arrived about 5 minutes later. It was my mum’s birthday last night and we decided to come here. My mum loves the food here but I’ve never been. To say impressed is an understatement. Couldn’t thank the entire staff enough. Food was incredible and very reasonably priced. We even managed to have 50% off mains due to their Monday-Wednesday special offer. We brought a cake with us to sing happy birthday and the staff brought it out, stopped the music and all sang! Even the chefs decided to sing and make some noise with the service bell/pots and pans. Very thankful for this as it meant they cared about our experience. Very highly recommended.

Not the best experience I've had at a Real Greek. The plates set on our table were filthy and had crumbs all over them. The kitchen processed the order wrong for one of our dishes. What a great find! And such accommodating staff. We turned up on an Eat Out To Help Out night without a reservation and, after being turned away from several other places, we were given a 15 minute wait time. We were seated within 5. The food was AMAZING. We ordered 6 meze plates between 2 of us; all but one dish were vegetarian. They were decent sizes and full of flavour. And the cheesecake desert was lush too. I'd 100% recommend giving this place a go and would definitely return if we're in Bournemouth again!

Nice tasting food. As much as you can taste. The waiter has charged us for olives which we ordered but never arrived. Anyway. The high chair was not cleaned whatsoever and the belts were quite dirty, and no cushions on the chair at all.. The olives were taken off and we did pay the original order. The beed is nice and I suggest you try the Alpha-omega draught compared to Mythos bottled beer.

We had an impulsive weekend away with my husband and our son a few weeks ago. It was our first time in Bournemouth and we really loved it. On our second day we saw there's The Real Greek restaurant nearby our hotel. Being one of the hottest weekends it was extremely hard to find somewhere to have a nice meal. We got lucky to get a table in their bar area as the bartender was very inviting and attentive. Everything was wonderful and even though they were understandably very busy, our food and drinks came really quickly and everything was beyond delicious especially the octopus. Our waiter was Filippo and he was one of the nicest guy we've met, he was attentive and was one of the reasons we had such a great time. It was really nice talking to him and we would love to go back there again.

I was told its all pre-made. A bit poor really. Shows the standard you are looking at when eating here. Can only imagine that all the salads that day had one lonely olive on top.

This is a reasonably priced, popular greek restaurant that serves small plates. Clean and tidy with hand gel available. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. Would happily visit again.

This is the best restaurant in town An amazing evening. Dan who is the owner welcomed us at the door, we were shown to our table which had a lovely view over Bournemouth Gardens. Kosta, our waiter, was friendly and genuinely interested in us and what we wanted. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Dan and all your team. We ate there last night 16.6.18. Started off in the bar downstairs the barman being very customer friendly really nice guy. Customer service was great especially the manager it made such a difference, unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing as they cooked the hot Meze along with the cold and just left it on the hot plate therefore our skewers and chips were barely warm. We would go back there again though.

It was quite busy when we were there and hadn't booked, however the host said we could sit at the bar get some drinks and a table would be free in 30 minutes, which is fine. However whist sitting at the bar we were totally ignored and had to remind the waiter to order some drinks. However when we finally sat down to eat the food was lovely. It's like a tapas restaurant where by you order many small dishes. I would definitely recommend booking if you want to go at the weekend

We had a special dish for two which comes with choices on a sharing dishes a bit of everything which works out actually cheaper .the restaurant is clean staff helpful The only reason I didn't give a five was due to staff changing shifts and we didn't then get anyone offering us budding when we were given menu prior and waiting but no problem .

Be careful of the olives, they contain stones, which isn't stated any where on the menu, one of my party cracked a tooth on one such stone, when we pointed this out to the waitress she just said sorry and walked of, wasn't bothered, main course turned up whilst we were still eating our starters, I ordered the meat pie, the pastry was nice and crunchy, however, it was cold , I was bought another pie which had been microwaved, which was denied by the manager, and was soggy,and tasteless, chip came out five minutes later these were tasteless as well, overall very disappointing, when the bill arrived we had been charged for the pie even thou it was inedible, overall the whole evening seemed very rushed, get them in, get them out ASAP we will not be returning.

A modern, industrial room above the Real Greek Wine Bar is where you eat. Greeted warmly by the staff, we were shown to our table. No rush to order, but our food arrived quickly and was well presented. Our selection from the wide variety of mezes on the menu were flavourful and filling. Cold mezes are served first while the hot ones are prepared so you can start eating earlier and then enjoy the hot mezes at their best. Why not five stars? We felt that the pork meze was rather fatty and the lamb meatballs seemed overcooked. We'll with a visit and we will return. Thank you.

Fantastic food. We ordered Tanias menu for two. The Melitzanosalata was amazing, light lemony and refreshing. The prawns were delicate and tasty. The Spinach Tiropitakia were very creamy and herby with a great crunch. It was all lovely and the terrace is perfect for summer days.
